Nice backgroud
This is a nice little addition of info on an already spectacular piece of storytelling. I recently finished the second book, which had no second book blues too it, and am super excited for the third. If you haven't read any of his work yet, do yourself a favor a give it a try. ...more

An Inspired version of the Flood.
I enjoyed the Deluge from start to finish. Descriptive language brings the story to life while aboard the ships that are sailing in unknown waters. I was immersed in the struggle against the monster of the deep that shattered the hope of the weary passengers when sighting land. Survival on land is a unique surprise that satisfied my curiosity. The love story is very touching, the sorrow of so much loss during the flood, and the magnanimity of this tragedy reached ...more

This gives a delightful, although sad look into the back story of Fintan and Myrradin. I love the way the great biblical flood was portrayed in this and how Noah and his ark supposedly happened. There was just enough character growth in this to make me like these two even more. Plus, anytime a leviathan makes and appearance, I am totally stoked. I recommend reading this after Paternus: Rise of Gods.

He whiled away his adolescent years and teens in cornfields, woods, rivers, ditches and haymows, climbing trees, running along barn beams, riding, wrestling, soccering, fighting BB gun wars, reading Stuart Little, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, everything Verne, London, Kipling, White, Lewis, Doyle, Burroughs, Poe, How
