Kenzie made a deal with the foxes to live with them for six months in exchange for the potion that saved her sister's life. What she didn't expect was how much it felt like home, more than the house she'd lived in her entire life.
But this agreement doesn't change the one she made with the Alpha of the West Coast Pride - and it isn't humans breaking into his warehouses, but something much, much worse.
This is a steamy reverse harem shifter romance with some MM. All paranormal books by Emma Dean exist in the same paranormal world - the Council of Paranormals.
So Kenzie is currently living with her mates for 6 months, although they haven't solidified their mate bond, as they continue to try and politically, socially and economically annihilate the dirt bag who tried to kill her sister.
In book two we get more background on Kenzie's mates which helped, although have to say unlike other reverse harem books I've read I'm still not feeling a potent connection between Kenzie and her mates. Plus the M/M scenes that seem to be coming into the tale, have come out of left field - the ground wasn't laid well for that development.
Kenzie's gran is still a hoot and does add a dash of humour to the tale.
An ok one time read, not sure if I'll pick up book 3.
So I kind of ruined the end of this book for myself by reading the blurb for book three. But meh, you have to think that something big would happen at the end of these books anyways with the way the plot is going.
Kenzie and her foxes take action to a whole other level in this book. And the smut gets steamier and I LOVED it! I was absolutely here for it! This is definitely one of my more favorite RH series I've read. And there have been plenty! :D
At the start of this book Kenzie is making good on her debt and packing up to move in with her mates. Her sister is saved, her magic restored and now they can all focus on taking down Brad and saving the women he bought and paid off. I liked the still slow progression of their relationship. She officially mates with two so now there’s only one left. I knew all along she wasn’t jus a normal human and luckily at the end we learn Kenzie is actually a void witch, the first in like a thousand years. Honestly I’m left wondering wtf that means, guess the last book will delve more in to that. The book flashed by and I thought it was cool learning how many different paranormal species there are particularly shifters. The guys having made besties with raccoons only makes sense in a comical sense. Curious how the series will end and what Kenzie’s role will be now that she has her own power.
Pretty much read this in a day. I would have finished earlier but was distracted by what my SO was watching on tv.
This was a nice ride for this story. It’s not too complex or deep imo but it’s definitely enjoyable. I lie the romance though sometimes it does seem like the plot is sex but once we get out of the bedroom things start happening too. Though I still have questions about specific aspects of the story, I hope they will be tied up in the next book. And I wonder if Selena will have her own set of books too, perhaps with the Alpha White Tiger...would be interesting to say the least.
I can’t wait for Hunter though. He definitely loves to play the game.
This was so good! Kenzie and the foxes are funny and playful and have crazy chemistry. I loved seeing them get closer and develop the mate bond. We saw more into Ash's past and learned a huge piece of information involving Kenzie. This story flew by and I am so excited to finish the trilogy!
This one was neat and a fun read, but there was something about it that made it a little boring to me. The end was exciting and made me want to find out what happens next.
I didn’t like the MM thrown in. It was not in the description of the first book and I only read the description of the first book in a series to avoid plot spoilers. I don’t MM in my RH and that made me not enjoy this book as much. Hopefully it’s not in the 3rd book.
I don't how Dean does it but this book is perfection. We get one strong female lead who is really coming into her own at this point surrounded by three quirky Fox shifters. From there it is the perfect mix of humor, steam, action, romance, and intrigue that makes it impossible to stop reading once you get started. Must Read for fans shifters RH. I totally loved it so I give it 4/5 stars.
Well we got a bit of background on the men. We know what Kenzie is now but I'm confused about what that is and the demon is great. I want a demon like that looking after me. Someone is defiantly trying to get rid of them for some reason.
Whew! This is a rollercoaster ride for sure! This book is fast moving and filled with captivating plot twists.
In this book Kenzie moves in with the foxes as payment for giving the potion to her in order to save her sister’s life. She welcomes it as a chance to get to know her mates and to see if they all decide to give the mate bonds a chance to take.
After moving in, Kenzie goes on dates with her mates, which are fantastic ways to get to know them better and understand some of their history
Alongside the relationship stuff, Kenzie and her sister have to help the Alpha Tiger secure his labs from vandalism, as payment for stealing the potion from his safe, and they have to find a way to destroy Brad whilst protecting his victims.
It’s a plot filled book, with romance and steamy scenes thrown in for good measure. The characters in the book are really starting to shine
This series just keeps getting better. Roll on book number 3!
I was pretty excited to see that this book was releasing so soon after I had finally gotten around to reading the first one. I was instantly hooked and I wanted to read more about this trio of foxes and their non-witch witch mate. And poor I wasn't disappointed with the second book.
Kenzie's sister is fading fast, her powers being stripped causing her body to fail. In an effort to save her, she makes a deal-two of them actually. One with her trio of foxes and one with the Alpha of the West Coast Pride. Each want something from her that only she can provide.
This story is also action-packed and full of budding romance. Focusing on a different mate this time though. We still she her relationship with the other two, and watch those grow, but you learn more about one in particular. His story is a sad one and I'm not going to lie-I shed a few tears during the retelling of it. It is so heartbreaking, as well as soul-crushing when you hear it. To me at least. I loved watching the relationships grow between all of them. And we even see two of them accept their bond with Kenzie. It's after a life-threatening attack, but what more could you expect? That's how their relationship seems to work.
There is so much going on in this series. So many attacks from different sides. It's crazy. But I love seeing the guys and Kenzie work together to solve all the problems.
I can't wait to see what is in store for them in the next installment.
Overall, this is a fantastic read. I would definitely recommend others to read it.
There is something heartwarming about this universe - a softness even amongst the chaos and pain that surrounds it. I noticed it with Alpha Wolf and Broken wolf, and the same holds true here with the foxes. Charming, really.
Pros: - sweet yet undeniably sexy. - flows well - Hunter, I just love him. - the big reveal, took me off guard, I was expecting something else. - Can we get Samuel’s story next? - good exploration of emotional pull
Cons: - felt a bit short? - these can be read without reading anything else in this universe, but it may help a touch.
So much going on, a slight detour from the main mission of taking down Brad. Violence, dates, death and plenty of sex. I liked how the relationships are deepening and learning more about the characters. Ash’s story/date was probably my favourite. Favourite character is the demon. Onto the final book.
I'm working on writing my review right now. It will be posted here sometime after release day and after it goes live on my blog. I am absolutely loving the foxes.
So I’m seriously addicted to this series and a little anxious to start the next book because there’s only one left and then it will be over. *sad face*
Our men:
Hunter- So much more was shown of him in this book, we got to see more layers to his personality. I kind of dig him the most now, even though he’s not gotten down and dirty with Kenz just yet. That scene in the gym gave me some high expectations for when it does come around though! I kind of love the sneaky bastard already.
Finnick- Before, he was just the jokester hiding his scars. Now, we’ve gotten deeper insight into his caring and adorable nature. He’s kind of like Hunter here, in how he anticipated her needs, just in a different way than when Hunter is always clearly so far ahead.
Ash- I’m thankful that in this book we got to know his past and delve deeper into what makes him the way he is. I was only a little surprised when he was the first to fully accept the bond. Totally dig all the bro-kisses *swoon*
WHAT THE FRACKLE IS A VOID WITCH? I mean besides the obvi. Tell me more.
Eisheth (probz totes mcgotes spelled that wrong) is starting to be a more prominent character and I’m deeply interested to learn more about him and have the next book expand more on how he’s connected to Kenz.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE THAT FUCKER BRAD DOWN. I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE. The suspense of his destruction is killing me. Gimme. Gimme. Gimme.

LV.47 Kaks sarnase kaanega raamatut. Emma Dean The Chaos of Foxes #2 & #3 All Foxed up, 226 lk. GR 4/5
This is the second story in Kenzie and her foxes’ tale (ha). Kenzie is moving in with her guys, and they are carrying on with the plans from the last book (trying to avoid spoilers, sorry it’s a bit vague!). While there is action in this book, it’s nothing like meeting Kenzie in the middle of a heist, like in the first book. To be clear, it is in no way lacking in action. It is much more developmentally key, this book. We get to see how Kenzie settles in with the foxes, but we also get to find out so much more about Ash. Finnick is also still there, being Finnick, and we get to find out bits more about Hunter, but this is definitely Ash’s time to shine, and boy, does he. This book has everything - there’s action, there’s emotion, moments of slice of life, sexy moments with all the foxes, and twists. Holy crackerjacks the twists. I did not see the coming, not really. This was a fantastic and entertaining sequel in an ever-expanding book Lost Girls universe that I have fallen in love with. I cannot wait for book 3, but also the other stories that are due to take place in this universe.
Great start to the series. Love that it’s set in the same universe. Characters are well developed and interesting. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...
1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.
2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.
3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.
4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.
5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.
I had been putting off reading this series until it finished, not sure why but there you have it. A lot of people recommend it so when all three were available on audible I picked them up.
So let’s just start by saying 🖤sexy foxes 🖤urban fantasy RH 🖤insta-attraction but slow-burn 🖤stubborn, hawt heroine with the heart of a lion 🖤a bit of sword crossing ⚔️: MFM, MMF, MMFM
The main characters are fantastic and they are developed so well. There is so much pain and trauma in their past it’s a wonder how they can be open to having a relationship with each other at all but they make it work.
I had a skewed view on foxes before I started reading this series ya know, I was like “foxes are cunning and could possibly be hot but they’re no wolves!” I totally converted after reading the first book, it’s fantastic how Emma really entices you to change you point of view of Fox shifters.
The storyline is interesting and I’m glad for the HEA at the end but finding out the mastermind was not something I saw coming until it was too late. I love how the mysteries remained just that until they were needed!
I was hooked from the beginning and it was refreshing to find that I was engaged to the very end. There is something for everyone: 💋deep and meaningful 💋hot and steamy 💋funny
Book two sees us learning more about the fox shifters as they take Kenzie out on dates.
They're still trying to find and rescue all the women on brads list before they're found by the ravens or brads side first. And they're not on the winning side....
And not to forget doing the job for Samuel, the white tiger at the same time! This one puzzles everyone, and only the foxes can sense vibrations that noone else can....
The mating in this book goes a bit further. Unsurprisingly, Finnick is the first to fall and realise he wants the bond. But he doesn't push it, and waits for Kenzie to be ready.
Steam wise it's cranking right up!!! Ash and Finnick surprise us by being open sexually with each other while the three are in bed.... And wow does that take the heat level up a few levels!!!
Once again, well written, and smooth flowing story!

I couldn't put the first book down at all, not even to sleep. I started this one, and ONLY put it down when I physically couldn't keep my eyes open a minute longer! When I woke up? Right back to the book!
We figure out what the "deal" with the main character and her lack of magic, we learn a bit more about the lives of the foxes before they met each other, and they're all continuing to try and save as many of the people Brad Davis (Selena's ex) previously hurt and paid out before his assassins can kill them all. Oh, and, of course, they're still trying to come up with technology to protect the White Tiger Alpha's projects! Talk about keeping your hands full!
So each book has the background story of trying to take down her sister’s ex who cursed her sister and raped & now murdered over 25 women, as they are trying to rescue and hid the other survivors.
Each book is also centred around 1 of her fox mates this book was all about Ash who sometimes acts like a robot but that’s just a mask to hid his feelings. They go on their first date and he goes back in time and remembers what happened to him when he was little and had blocked it out.
Her relationship with her mates have developed naturally and the spice has gotten really good I can only imagine how much better it will be in the last book with all 3!
She also discovered what type of witch she is the kind that’s to rare it hasn’t been seen for 3000 years!
Quick Info Standalone/Cliffhanger?: Bit of a cliffhanger Part of a Series?: Yes ---------------------------------- Meeting the Characters Kenzie Hunter Ash Finnick ---------------------------------- What happens? Kenzie moves in with the boys in this one. They rescue a few more women from being killed that had been hurt by Brad. The relationships between all 3 grow and change which was a nice thing to read. Final thoughts Nice read. I liked the chemistry in this one. Actually believed they were all a together. Looking forward for the next one. Would I read again?: Yes Would I read this author again?: Yes
This one has just as much excitement and chemistry as, if not more than the first one. It starts off with a bang and keeps you riveted from there. I fell even more in love with all the characters and was so invested that I couldn’t pass on diving directly into book three if I’d wanted to. One thing I love is how the author brings to life a world of magic without being specific about how that magic works. We don’t see how each spell is cast or what components are used, we just accept that it was done and is effective.
All Foxed Up was riveting and had me staying up late to finish before moving right on to the third and final installment.
Kinzie is getting to know her mates more and saving the girls against brad. She is going on dates with her foxes and learning she is falling for them. She is helping samuel build a system against who is trying to steal from him. Wow Kenzie and Selene are working on it they are attacked at Samuels place. Finnick and Ashe are willing to put their lives on the line to save her. Kinzie throws herself in front of her Fox to save him. That's when they learn she is a void witch there hasn't been one around for over three thousand years. So now she has to figure out what life has to offer her knowing she's a void witch.

This book. So dang good. I enjoyed the first one, but this, this one just has left me feeling some kind of way. It started off the fun, lighthearted read I found book one, For Fox Sake, to be, but then it dove deeper. Deeper into the guys’ past, deeper into thoughts on forming relationships and why they held those beliefs, but mostly just deeper into the feels altogether. And that ending!!! I can’t wait for this next installment and find this absolutely deserving of five big stars
