A funny story that all children, young and grown, can relate to…their favorite stuffed animal getting a tear and needing to be patched-up by Mom. Elaine Kaye brings Sammy the Teddy Bear to life to tell this cute tale.

“Code Blue,” yells Gregory to his mom, because Sammy won’t get out of bed, and we all know Moms are the best, because they can take care of a teddy bear with a hurt leg, making things all better, and if you want to know how it happened, well that is Sammy’s Little Secret, therefore Doctor Mom is illustrated with cute pictures that tell this touchy feely story as much as the words do, and you will need to find out for yourself.

Something is wrong with Gregory Green's teddy bear. It turns out that the bear's leg is torn. Doctor Mom comes in to save the day.

Doctor Mom is a sweet story that assures kids that mom can take care of just about anything. The illustrations compliment the story nicely. Kids will especially enjoy the illustration of Gregory Green dressed up as the physician's assistant. Recommended for children ages 4-7.

I think at some point we've all been there, as kids, when a favorite toy, whether a teddy bear, a Barbie doll, an action figure, or a toy car gets damaged and one of our parents fixes it for us. I think that Nostalgia is one of the major pulls of thi
