I bought a set of girl's hockey books a few years ago, when my daughter was finishing her park hockey experience and about to start high school hockey here in MN. I'm putting this review in each of them, because the situation is the same. I bought them for her, presented them to her, and she had no interest whatsoever. I don't know if that was just her, or what. But that was my experience. She does read a lot related to school, and browsing in books related to a sport just conflicted for her I think. So it's not a criticque of the particular book probably, but suggesting a challenge to making such a book relevant to its audience.
