You'd think that basically being in charge of love would be an epic job, right? Wrong. Sure, I can blow some Lust into people's faces and watch the show, but I can't actually participate. It gets old, trust me. Same goes for love. I can pass it out like sugar-free lollipops at a dentist's office, but I can't get any love for myself. It totally sucks.

I used to consider

Buddy read with Reverse Harem Revolution.

This was a lot of fun to read! The heroine is a cupid who gets reassigned to the fae realm after "poor job performance" and ends up on an island with 3 lumberjack fae mancats. I love reverse harems that are silly and over the top and this totally fits the bill. There is a lot of humor.

The romance is slow burn. Nothing relationship or sexual happens. Just flirting, but the guys are fun too. One is your typical grumpy caveman type, one is the flirty rakish

Cupid : 1
My expectations : 0

I really wanted to give this 5 stars but the similarities between two well known RH are just too obvious and numerous to overlook.

Despite that I absolutely freaking loved it

It's gets the Gaby Feel Good RH of the year award

Maybe because my expectations were low and I knew it was gonna be a rip-off it didn't bother me.

This is one that will make you laugh, just the right burn, NOT YA (hooray) doesn't require much thought and it's on KU!

So funny, cute, and I ate it all up!

You'd think being a cupid would be all kind of fun. Shooting people with arrows all freaking day would ease the anger from terrible break ups - right? However, the no touching, eating, and the talking to your only friend (yourself) does take the fun out of that job. It sounds terrible and I wouldn't like that job either.

Emelle has had enough of people's shit. She gets in trouble while roaming the human world and is sent to fae world. There she thinks she has
Okay, if you like C.M. Owen's...errr...I mean Kristy Cunning's The Dark Side series (Four Psychos, Three Trials, Two Kingdoms), then you will probably like Kennedy's Heart Hassle series. The thing is though, you will probably pick up on a lot of similarities too. The similarities were enough that at times I wondered if Kennedy straight up stole some pages out of Cunning's book, but Kennedy delivered an intriguing enough of a story that I actually didn't care if she did. The H is ridiculous and ...more

Funny and different, even if it reminds me of Four Psychos, but with three. Definitely reading book 2. Thanks to Jessica for the recommendation.

Emelle is a discontented cupid. She thought spreading love through the world would be romantic and fun, but quickly got jaded when confronted with a bunch of womanizers, cheaters, etc. She's lost her faith. Add in that she exists in the Veil where no one can see her, talk to her, or feel her, and she is a bit depressed. She gets transferred from the human realm to the Fae realm where a marriage is going to take place between the Prince and Princess. She is reinvigorated when it appears that true ...more

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO DAMN MUCH! I devoured it and I can't wait to read the next one, but please tell me there are more than two books? *sad face* Edit: the author said there's going to be three books, maybe four. YAY.

Signs of Cupidity was hilarious, fun, sexy and just overall amazing. The plot was original and unique. The concept was really interesting as I've never read another book with a Cupid in it. The heroes were all yummy (especially Evert and his flirting). This book was just the

This was a surprisingly enjoyable read!

All of the reviews point out similarities between two reasonably big hitters in the RH world, the Curse the Gods series (many people's gateway drug to RH) and the Four Psychos series. And they'd be right. Emelle has the clumsy, humourous attitude of Willa, the with the non-corporal, desperate for touch/interaction of Paca, as well as Willa's rating of the men by numbers and Paca's constant changung favourites.

However, for me this didn't feel like a rip off

I am pleasantly surprised by this book. A couple of reviews I read said it was similar to Four Psychos but I didn't see it. Yes,she was invincible like Paca and she had a fun personality but IMO that's where it all ends.

RH on a whole is a hit or miss, you have to be convincing pairing up 3-6 guys with one girl and I felt this book really sold on that. I thought I was going to find it passable but I enjoyed it. Can't wait to read the next one.
When the last of night fades away to concede to morning, I drift away. I dream of the stars. I dream of being one, of dancing alone in the sky, of glittering beside the moon. Being a star is not so different from being a cupid. People wish and the stars try to grant, but even as the stars sacrifice themselves and fall, so many wishes are wasted, just as so much love is lost.

This was pretty good but I had a hard time getting into it, and I'm not sure why. I liked Emelle, I liked the guys, the
this was actually really fun, but first things first: this is practically the same book as Four Psychos. the same storyline, same heroine, same relationship, etc. still, i guess that made it a good story!

Signs of Cupidity was just some easy, light fun from my kindle recommendations. reverse-harem and very entertaining, it made me smile throughout the book. pretty good!

This turned out funnier than I expected. Emelle is right behind Willa on my list.

I really like the author's world that she had created. There were a few grammar mistakes but nothing that really jumped out and ruin the book.

I can understand why Emelle got bitter with her job. Having to live decades spreading love and desire and have no one to talk to, no one to fall in love with you. It would get extremely lonely. The best part is she is not alone. Many other cupids are in trouble but when she

What a fun read..

So, I read that this RH book is a little like two of my favorite RH series and I was a little hesitant with reading this because I assumed it would be a blatant rip off of my other two favorite RH series but I was completely wrong.

Yes, this book does contain some similarities to COTG and Four Psychos but it is not exactly the same. I like what this author did with this series.

Emelle was hilarious. I love her character, she has just the right amount of everything to make her a

Close, but no cigar.

I felt like this was honestly just so similar to Curse of the Gods that it was off putting. Also, I wasn't really a fan of the main character's inner monologue. It got boring and repetitive over time. However, if I hadn't read the other series first, I would perhaps be intrigued by this.

Okkkk soo there were some similarities to a um certain other book but at the same time many differences plus I mean in PNR books (RH or not) there are always going to be similarities sadly. But Emelle was annoying and craaaaaazy weak...but guess what? That suited the story fine. I mean she has no memory of being alive so going from being a ghost to alive should come with some downsides, like quickly tiring out and untrained muscles...oh and the constant blurting stuff out and rambling or ...more
Crazy for Books (Stephanie)
This was a book that was a recommendation for readers who like Alanea Alder or Shelly Laurenston. It was cute and I'm interested to see where the story will go. But, I'm also not happy that I've started reading the book, liking the series so far, and the third book isn't available and ready for me to dive into once I finish the second book.

I loved her, shes so different from everything I've read so far. Shes clumsy, funny, quick, witty and very HONEST. My kind of main female character.

The plot of this story was genius and really easy to read, if you do not want to think about anything I really recommend this book. Its HOT, I completely fell in love with the characters in this book, the thing is that they each had a completely different personality! I felt like I was seriously getting to know these guys.

To be honest I

Characters & Character Development

Story: Characters - Emelle, Sylred, Evert, Ronak... It's very rare that I give any book 5 stars. I can't say there's anything that I did not enjoy about this book. I felt like the characters were original and believable. I enjoyed the plot and the dialogue between the characters. I enjoyed the flirty moments between the characters. This book was hilarious. Some say it reminds them of Curse of the Gods but aside

This is actually one of my FAVORITE RH's out there. It's in my TOP 5 list of worthy RH seriesesses (that's not a word, I know).

TBH, I had my popcorn ready for Lady Soora and Prince Elphar's castle drama.
I ate that up like it was candy.
If we could please have a book written about them, Raven. Thanks in advance. XO

I was under the belief that Emelle would be Willa (Curse of the Gods) stupid but she wasn't.
I also saw little relation between her and Paca (Four Psychos), Paca was much funnier.

This book was incredible! Sooo fun! Euphoric! Emelle is my new girl crush! This is me raving about yet another book!

This story is original and fun! Emelle a Cupid angel who is falling out of love with love. Always on the out skirts she really gets to see how people use and manipulate love and she is fed up. Called back to her base of operations, new management sends her to the fae realm after she becomes so disgusted with humans and their shenanigans. She starts over doing what she does best

Smart, funny heroine. A slow burn RH (not normally my cup of tea) with a creative plot and unique, layered world building. Fingers crossed this level of excellence can be maintained throughout the series.

I love this book. It's a whole new spin on Cupid. I laughed my butt of during the whole book. Our Cupid's thought process is hilarious.
When she gets in trouble with her superiors she is exiled. Well, let's just say that she creates lots of drama in the new realm and meets hot dudes.

I highly recommend this series as well as the authors other books.

Ridiculously entertaining

I laughed from start to finish. In public. People were staring. But I have no regrets.

Signs of Cupidity follows the tale of Cupid No. 1050 aka ML who’s basically gone a little crazy from being unable to interact with anyone for decades. She finally bites of more than she can chew when she attempts to shoot a Fae prince with a love arrow resulting in him blasting her into the corporeal world. Enter First, Second and Third.

This wasn’t a serious read for me. It was

Signs of Cupidity by Raven Kennedy

This book started off slow. To be honest, I listened to the first 30% on audible (and the narrator did not do Emmel justice at all). However, either because the book picked up, or because I was reading it, I got pulled in and loved it. Happy to know that book two is out if I need a quick cute read I will be picking up book two. I read another book by Raven Kennedy and have decided I like the writing style.

"When I died, I was this innocent, naive, hopelessly romantic girl." This one sentence explains how ML became a Cupid. Yes, the arrow-wielding, love-bringing servant of Eros. This particular Cupid has beautiful red feathered wings, long pink hair, and a pretty silver dress. She's also lost her love for her job. It's a painful job. No one can see her so obviously she can't be touched or talked to. She has to watch others find and lose love without ever experiencing it herself. She's lonely. And ...more

Raven Kennedy likes writing and reading and chocolate-bar-eating. Dark chocolate. Get out of here with that other stuff. She also likes to take long walks on the beach. Not really. She lives in the desert. The only water there is the wavy stuff that comes with a mirage. But I'm sure if there was a beach nearby, she'd walk then. Probably. Maybe. Her first book is Signs of Cupidity, the first of a ...more
