Teased by Fire
I love the characters this author writes because they are real. If you've read my reviews before you will realize that I'm not about a size 2 supermodel that gets the billionaire most of the time. My most favorite 5 star reads are almost always the normal girl gets the ...more
I went into it not really knowing what to expect, and it had me rolling from the very beginning and swooning just as hard.
First, we have Olive. Who, admittedly, she was a soul sister just from the first mention of a zombie apocalypse. She's a bit of a recluse, who sometimes maybe doesn't shower every day, wears her pajamas a lot and prefers books to humans.
Then we have Hank. Oh, dear LORD Hank. I knew Hank was going to be trouble from the w ...more
Teased By Fire was a nice, funny and sexy read.
Olive, our heroine, works from home, she is an introvert and elusive person who prefers to live in her mind, and what interesting inner monologues she has. Hank, our hero is her opposite,he is a fireman with a lot of friends who loves to go out. They know each other since they were kids and Hank never missed an opportunity to play jokes on her.
Now that they are housemates will they kill each other?Or Olive finally will let their relationship be more than
Hank has been attracted to his sister Miranda's best friend Olive for a long time. Never acting on it
because of the unsaid code of not messing with your sister's friends. Teased by Fire is the perfect story if you are looking for a binge worthy rom-com!!!
Oh Olive! You are the perfect character and if you were real, you would definitely be my best friend! She has weirdness in spades, sass and when Hank moves in, she also gets more than she bargains for in ways of research!
Hank is the perfect specimen! Gorgeous bod, gorgeous heart and it has always belonged to the girl he thought was off lim ...more
Teased by Fire is the perfect combination of steam, romance, and humor!!!!
The book opens with Olive steaming mad that her bestie, Miranda, is moving out. She isn’t mad that Miranda is leaving. She is sad, but she would never ask her friend to turn down her dream job. No, she is mad that Miranda’s brother, Hank, is moving in. She has worked hard to maintain her anti-social existence, and Hank is the complete opposite. This girl is clueless about what’s coming her way….see Hank has alw ...more
This was a fast and easy read, I enjoyed but would not reread. The characters were easy and not very deep in my opinion and if their age hadn’t been mentioned through the book I would have guessed them to be at least ten years younger than they actually were. Their actions were more than childish and while I laughed about some of the teasing, most of it was just too much, it seemed too forced in my opinion.
And while I know a few hermits and prefer ...more
This was my first book by Molly O’Hare and I throughly enjoyed it. It’s a quick book but I thought it was a wonderful mix of laughter, sassiness, and lust/love.
The story follows Olive Quinn and Hank Parker. Olive is quirky, antisocial, and all around fantastic. I love that writing was her profession. It’s always fun to read about authors in books. I found Olive to be very relatable because of her quirky mind and her love of books. She had a horrible upbringing and God awful parents, ...more

Arc received in return for an honest review.
Feel the heat with this, Molly O’Hare’s latest romantic comedy which will have you laughing out loud at Olive the books anti-social heroine and the predicaments she gets herself into whilst swooning over her friends older brother Hank the hot, hunky fireman who manages to sweep us off our feet (well mine anyway) as he puts himself in the front and ce ...more
I loved this book. This is the second one I've read my Molly O'Hare but hopefully not the last.
The H, Hank was UH-MA-ZING! He was just about perfect. Emotional but tough & head over heels for the h, Olive. He just about loses his shit when something happens to Olive and it was so emotional & well written that I felt what he felt.
Olive was always mentioning aliens and zombies and her inner thoughts were a little teeny tiny much for me. But she was quirky and unique. A fun char ...more
I'm a sucker for sister/brother's best friend romance novels, so when I read the summary for this one, I was all in. The book was good, but not great.

Olive is somewhat of a recluse, she has a defensive personality, she write romance books, not just romance, its erotica pretty much. Only her best friend Miranda knows about it. She has a pseudonym name she goes by as an author, so she's safe there. She dislikes being around people, she likes being around on her own with her thoughts with the exception of her bff, Miranda who lives with her. But, Miranda is moving away, but Miranda's HOT firefighter br ...more

Teased By Fire was a funny and sexy book about a sexy fireman and an author. I believe this is the first book I have read from this author but it will not be my last. Teased By Fire had me giggling more than once especially when it came to Dog, because I had a manecoon once and yeah she was something else just like Dog. If you are confused about what I am talking about read the book to find out.

Teased By Fire is a hilarious rom-com about Olive Quinn and Hank Parker. Olive is like most of us nowadays as an introvert. She doesn't like people or going out and as you read the book you learn why. She would rather stay at home with her books and writing. Her best friend and roommate is moving out. That is how the book starts. Olive is not happy. Ok, she is happy for Miranda but not happy that Hank, Miran ...more
This book was soooooooo good. It features a forbidden best friend brother romance but it also features a hot fireman who has been in love with the heroine for YEARS and he becomes roomies. It features a little insta love but it also has everything , laughter and tears and a happy ever after storyline but the getting there was so fun.
