It almost had me... right up until the racist stereotypes appeared.

This is the first book written by Fred Wiehe that I’ve read, and had it not been for several important things, I would have enjoyed it a great deal; it’s an ‘old school’ werewolf book that brings to mind the works of Gary Brandner (The Howling Trilogy)—straight up classic suspense and horror, which is my favorite thing to read. The main characters—Tommy and Alfie—are likable, and their banter back and forth captures t
