Been wanting to write this review for sometime so I hope I can get my ramblings sorted. I've read a bunch of Lee Savino's berserkers romance/erotica before and then tried tis audiobook and I must say that Lee is one of my favorites in erotica genres. It's baffles me that I've read so many characters in various different setting but they all are their own person. Even in a story like this with one woman and seven men I had no issue pulling them part, even the twins. It's very very smutty but it has a great balance with interesting and we'll developed characters, nail biting suspense and great heroine. I didn't love everything about it but overall I loved it. I was devastated that I had no more ebooks to read but I've got a few audiobooks that I'm definitely going to get too

"I don't let a man mess with what's mine."
Imagine that x 8!

Lana is completely right, you guys, it was unrealistic in some ways, yet well written . . . thanks for bringing it my attention, hon. 🥰

I thought the author did a really decent job of setting the story up - the actual premise of hiring a woman for a remote logging camp isn't completely outlandish. And the way, the seedier parts of the story [😂] were mitigated was well done and gave the story a softer edge.

And the writing itself squeezed a few tears from my jaded heart!

If smut's your thing, you'll need to get on this on this. Happy reading!

Woah, it was surprisingly good and quite well written.
Was it realistic? Hell no.
Did I care? Hell no.

A hot and sweet story about a woman, running away from something bad and finding something wonderful where she at least expected it. If you want to know how it worked between one woman and eight men... Well, I'm not gonna tell you! Check it out for yourself!

In the meantime, I'm sure I'll be reading more by the author.

Thank you, Jade, for bringing this little gem on my radar!

Chopping wood 🪵 you say !!

Sierra is on the run and then she hears a proposition for a big scary lumberjack to dance for him and his crew. This can be terrifying or it can be her way out. At this point she needs to get out of town so she does her best to convince this Lumberjack that she is the woman for him and his crew. As old wounds come to life and the guys fight over who will get Sierra first a string of lies may change the course of their lives forever.

Hopefully no one gets hurt in the process.

4 stars!!

so yep, i can't say im an expert here considering it's my first RH but i enjoyed this one. i was expecting some dirty erotica here since there's like 8 Lumberjacks here but, it's a rather pleasant surprise IMO

basically it starts off with Sierra, running from a motorcycle gang after her boyfriend was killed. she attempted to get a job as a stripper but failed. Enter Lincoln, the so-called "leader" among the other lumberjacks. in order to have a place to sleep and food to eat, Sierra chased after Lincoln to 'hire' her - to entertain 8 lumberjacks who are living up around the mountains.

the 8 guys here - Lincoln, Mason, Saint, Jagger, Roy, Tommy, Elon and Oren (they are twins) are nothing like i expected! some of them are shy while some are eager. though Sierra's technically hired to please them, each of them treated her so well. their relationship with Sierra showed trust and respect, and all of them had this strong commitment to keep her safe. well, to keep her also.

there's quite a little surprise in the middle where

nevertheless, it's an interesting and sweet read. 4 stars!

I loved this reverse harem book! It had all the feelz. Scary parts, sad parts, dark and dirty parts, and a sweet HEA. Girl is on the run from a motorcycle club and convinces a lumberjack to let her come up to his work camp and entertain him and 7 other men working under him during the logging season in exchange for room, board, and $10,000, as well as a hiding place from the men she doesn't tell him she's hiding from.

This was an interesting one.
She’s on the run.
He’s looking for entertainment for his workers so they don’t go into town looking for wild rides since they don’t have have days off.

8 men seems so exhausting but shockingly it works out. They all take turns.

I love the twins and their quirky habits of sharing.
I adored Mason. Actually wanted more from him. I felt If this novel was longer we’d have an interesting developed between her and mason.
Saint is drool worthy. He’s silent and wise. Loved that.
Lincoln was a cute cuddly bear.
Jagger was like a shot of heroine that lights up your system.

The ending was VERY surprising to me. I did not EXPECT that. Still a bit thrown off.

Liked it!

This was a pretty decent reverse harem book about a girl on the run from evil bikes and ends up dancing in a remote logging camp for lumberjacks. The story was well paced with enough action and sexy scenes to keep it interesting.

It’s been a while since i found this one on bookfunnel.
And since i was só in the mood for it after my latest,i decided to indulge and read it.
This series is called Hard n’ Dirty for a good reason, let me tell you that!
YUM....

Sierra is on the run after finding her boyfriend dead.
Desperate for money, she tries to get a job as poledancer, but the owner of the bar rejects her.
Hearing a very large, very rugged man trying to get a girl to entertain him and his men,she asks if she can have the job.
Lincoln can’t believe his ears, and eyes.
This slip of a girl would be willing to come with him?
She’s on the run,he can feel it....
But once she convinces him she’s “up for the job”,he decides to give her a chance.
Meeting the other men,all just as large and rugged, and knowing what’s expected of her,Sierra knows she’s in for a hell of a ride.
But it’s a safe place, and these men take good care of her.

Will it remain a safe place when trouble catches up with her?
Or will they toss her out,and leave her to face her past alone?

This was a very entertaining story, with lots of Hard n’ Dirty!

This was such a letdown😕

I know Lee Savino can bring the heat but this one felt completely lukewarm. Not one sex scene did it for me and for a reverse harem? That's saying something.

The premise had potential: a woman on the run from a murderous MC president ends up in a remote logging camp as the "entertainment" for seven men. But two guys are gay, one's a druggie, the dominant one never actually has sex with her (because she didn't "earn it") and Mason is just a jerk. That basically leaves the twins and Lincoln, who were actually decent.

The FMC is malnourished, desperate and secretly pregnant, which she hides because she needs the money and a place to lay low. When she finally reveals the pregnancy, the guys surprisingly rally around her...which leads to an ending that felt totally far-fetched and rushed.

So literally nothing really happens

Sierra is on the run from a biker gang because her boyfriend is dead and they think she killed him. While in a club trying to get a job as a stripper she overhears a conversation between the owner and another guy. The new guy gets turned away so she follows him out and asks about the job he was wanting a woman for. He thinks she's either a junkie or homeless and doesn't want to offer her the job as being the 'entertainment' for 8 lumberjacks. What he is really wanting is a woman who will dance for them and then in her off time sleep with all of them.

She shows Lincoln that she can do the dancing part and when they end up in bed before he brings her home, he knows that he's going to give her the job. Once back home with the other Lumberjacks she is enthusiastically greeted by a few of the guys while one guy in particular (Mason) wants nothing to do with her and she doesn't understand why.

Most of the guys like her and after a quick trip to the doctor to make sure she's clean, she starts the after hours entertainment with some of the guys. Most of the guys really like her but Mason has his reasons for not wanting anything to do with her.

Things are going well and she's going to get the big payout at the end of the season so she can start her life over but she's carrying a huge secret. When the guys find out her secret she figures that they'll kick her out but that's not what happens at all. This story turned out to be so much more than I thought it would be. There's her huge secret, a biker gang looking for her, the lumberjacks starting to have feelings for her and a huge twist or two. This turned out to be even better than I thought it would.

The heroine taunting one of the men she’s sleeping with by suggesting he wished she was a little boy instead is fucking sickening. I’m all for embracing what gives you pleasure, but I can’t get behind joking about pedophilia.

3.5 - 4 smutty stars!

This is the eighth book in the Hard n' Dirty series and features eight lumberjacks and Sierra. Sierra is running/hiding from a motorcycle club and ends up taking a job living with the eight guys and being their girl for the season.

Will these eight lumberjacks help Sierra when they find out her secrets? Will they send her away? What kind of life could they all make?

For such a short book, there was a surprisingly engaging plot and a decent amount of character development. But I would still say, you'd be going into this book for the smut factor.

description

Now, I don't typically read reverse harems. It just really isn't my thing but I've been trying to read at least one book a month that steps outside of my norm.

While I still don't really care for reverse harems....this was pretty good. If you like reverse harems with some sexy BIG men then I would recommend this.

Fenici, lo so che vi state facendo strane idee leggendo il titolo di questo libro! Beh…

Come dire, quante ore?”
“Tutte le sere dovrai ballare. A parte quello fai cosa ti pare. Mangi con noi, ti fai lunghe dormite, fai le tue cose da ragazza …”
“Ci sto.”
Mi appoggio allo schienale con un sospiro. Il separé scricchiola. «Hai mai fatto strip-tease prima d’ora?»
«No.
«Imparo in fretta.

Not really my kind of thing but fast paced and easy read 🙂

Sierra is in trouble, hiding from a biker-club. She ends up hiding, living and stripping for eight lumperjacks. She loves sex and gives the men a night each.

”These were the times when I was present to myself, when I could give up the worry and weight of what was to come. In the late hours of the night, I gave myself to the men, and in return, they gave me a space to just be. I surrender my body, and they seduce my mind.
But I’m careful, so careful, not to risk my heart.”

This one lacks a lot of character development, it’s not believable 😂 Lots of sex, but there is also some story in there 😂

3.5 stars. This was my first read from this author. It was an interesting premise. One woman and 8 strapping lumberjacks. The way that Sierra gets introduced to the group is interesting. I liked how they connected with her a few had some initial issues but came around. I wish she went into more History of the characters and their backstory. It was a sweet read overall and has a HEA

I never had so much fun being lost in the woods!

Lincoln runs a team of loggers, and to make sure they have all the ... ahem ... amenities they need during the season, he heads to town to recruit a stripper to provide entertainment for his crew. Sierra has just been turned down for a desperately-needed job by the same strip club owner who refuses to let Lincoln poach one of his employees, so Sierra makes the daring offer to provide whatever services are needed in exchange for what amounts to her very survival. Lincoln suspects she's running from something, so despite his reservations that she's too inexperienced for the job, he feels instantly protective of her and agrees to give her a chance.

The eight guys on the team are a real mixed bag - all handsome, strapping lumberjacks, of course, but each with their own unique approach to life, and to Sierra. We only get to know six of them, really, with the other two staying mostly out of the story, but these six guys are everything a girl could ever wish for.

The secret that Sierra is hiding - the reason why she's running for her life - is nothing compared to the secret that develops right after she takes up residence with the crew. The story is so much deeper than expected and takes such a surprisingly dark turn that I was actually stunned a bit in the last third of the book. This isn't merely a lighthearted romp through a girl's fantasies. Sierra is plagued by real problems, and the solution comes with a mighty high price tag.

The writing is absolutely exquisite. We know to expect a lot of humor (and we get plenty) and this author never fails to deliver on the steam, but there are also many poignant insights into the hearts and backgrounds of these characters that really bring them to life. It's easy to see true affection building between all the principle parties, even as it defies convention and easy explanations. The HEA was nicely done, even as it was tinged with sadness.

This is not your typical RH story, and even as it leans toward being an adaptation of a fairy tale (but not the one you're thinking of) it's so much more than any simple genre description. I was enchanted throughout the story, speechless at one point, and will fondly return to this sweet story again and again. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Hard ‘n Dirty, Book 8. One woman, eight men…where does this story go?

I can’t begin to summarize this story so I won’t try. I normally love Lee Savino’s books. Her Berserker, Berserker Brides, Draekon, and Bad Boy Alphas series are sexy and spicy with just the right balance between storyline, mystery, and sexiness. But I didn’t like this book at all. The first reason is the reverse harem trope. That trope has been WAY overdone. It seems like nearly every romance author has jumped on that bandwagon over the last year. It’s been overplayed to the point that when I see the words “reverse harem” anywhere in the title, on the cover, get any indication the book’s a reverse harem book, I automatically avoid it. This book purports to be a reverse harem story. Since I love Lee Savino’s books so much, I decided to take a chance on it. Unfortunately, like so many other books using this trope, it just didn’t work. The initial premise was interesting. A lost girl literally running for her life, taking refuge anywhere she can. She finds what appears to be safe haven with a group of eight men. But after that, the plot simply disappears. The story started off in one direction, but soon turned around and went in the opposite direction. There was no consistency. I was confused. Nothing made sense. I realize a reader is supposed to suspend their disbelief in any fictional story but there was no story to disbelieve. I finished the book. The only thing I could come close to was could this be an effort to create an alternate version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves (even though there were eight men)? If so, it didn’t succeed. The storyline falls far short of what I’ve come to expect from Ms. Savino. To be honest, I still have no idea what the story was trying to tell. I was very disappointed because I normally love Ms. Savino’s books so much. I wish I understood where she intended to take this story because I still don’t understand.

I will say this is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. I honestly can’t recommend it. Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!

Sierra is a young woman, almost alone in the world. She;s on the run and in hiding. She tries to get a job at a local dive as a pole dancer but is turned away. Lincoln is one of eight lumberjacks and he;s in town trying to find a woman to go live with them. Sierra is desperate and convinces him to take her. When she gets up there she meets all the men. There is some hostility from a couple but mostly the men are welcoming. She manages to win them over to let her stay until a big turn of events. The head lumberjack takes her to the dr to make sure she is healthy. There she learns she;s pregnant. Shocked she now has to figure what to do? She needs the money from this gig to start a new life and stay hidden. Then one of the men turns on her. Her life and her lumberjacks lives are on the line.
Fantastic story and read!

While I generally like reverse harem romances, this one seemed beyond harsh. Granted, the heroine was trying to escape retribution from a vicious MC, but I simply couldn't imagine any 21-year-old woman who, without a second thought, would sign on to strip every night, and then sexually satisfy 8 huge lumberjacks, in virtual isolation for months at a time, and more than one of the men was really nasty and abusive to her. Perhaps if she'd been older and more experienced sexually, I might have bought this story line, but for this reader, my willing suspension of disbelief still didn't make this novel acceptable.

Favourite of the series. I always enjoy Lee's books but this one is definitely my new favourite from her. When I heard she was writing a RH with 8 lumberjacks I thought - WOW that's a whole lot of wood 😏😏

While there was definitely plenty of the yummy kink & chemistry I expect from this author - I also got lots of action and a surprising amount of emotions too. This one was a fresh twist on the usual RH read & I definitely recommend.

I received an arc of this book.

Very good and pretty damn hot, but BEWARE misguiding cover. Look at that. It's totally MMm configuration. Two bear daddies ready to manhandle the twink. Where's the lady? She's there, in the blurb, but if you don't read it and judge the book by the cover as many do these days, you might miss a good and dirty story.

Fall in Love with Lumberjacks!!

Sierra is on the run, half-starved and looking like a waif, she must convince Lincoln, leader of the lumberjacks she is “of-age” and can handle the needs of eight strapping men. Easy-going Jagger, hates-her-on-sight Mason, cooks like a dream and has a trunk o’ toys Saint, the ginger twins, and two who only watch.

We are allowed into Sierra’s head, and the relationship with each man is quite different and an engrossing study. When Sierra has a situation where she believes they will send her away; will they rally around her, can they come to her aid, escape the increasing danger and will she ultimately end up with a man of her own?

Sensual, gritty and heart-warming – I highly recommend this story!!

The plot was great. Action, drama, and a little twist. Extremely hot too.

Loved the brooding mysterious lumberjacks as well.

For a RH most of the coupling was done in private between M/F.

All in all, super hot and quick. I'd recommend it.
