Matchmaker, matchmaker, make me a match that’s out of this world! Mitzi heads a once successful matchmaking service, things aren’t going so well, so when new “clients” came from the planet Talzor, seeking six Earth brides for six warriors, Mitzi finds herself unable to say no to the handsome, yet off-putting Captain Jax. But really? Fi

I enjoyed this book. The storyline was very good. The characters were strong and unique. I feel like there’s more from these characters to come. Elizabeth’s performance was great.

The Selig Finding a Soul Mate Match Services used to be the top matchmaking agency around, but Mitzi Selig’s upcoming schedule showed only 3 appointments for the entire week! Maybe she needed to forget the face-to-face approach and think about using the internet for her business? As she discussed it with Connie, her friend who joined her for a power walk, they heard a breaking news story. The day before, the International Space Station had been struck and severely damaged by debris and rescue wa ...more

Good Start to a New Series
This is the first book in a new series, Shalhiari Space Chronicles, I thought it had a fast-paced storyline and that it could be enjoyed as a standalone book. The story had lots of elements including action, adventure, drama, danger, suspense and many twist/turns which kept me listening, even when I should have been doing something else.

The blurb tells you the premise of the book but it won't tell you how well defined the characters are or how great the chemistry and

I loved this one! I've really enjoyed the last few match making books I've read lately but this is the first time I've read one that takes place in space. This match maker carries on with her day with her clients and all of a sudden finds herself find men dressed in black pulling her into a car. she figured her match making services were needed for someone important but she figured maybe some government officially not some hunky humanoid alien warrior and his hunky men who were looking for human ...more

Planet Talzor Needs Brides is the first alien romance book that I've read and also the first book that I've read by this author. Compared to some of the other alien romance books on the market, the alien aspect of this book is pretty mild. Jax is from the planet Talzor, but his physical appearance closely resembles that of Earth humans. The author does a great job of creating a unique storyline and world for this book. The majority of the book takes place either on earth or on Jax's space ship. ...more

This was my first Eva Gordon's book, and won't be the last! Planet Talzor Needs Brides is part of the Shalhinari Space Chronicles. This is a fun, and sweet, Sci-Fi Aliens Romance. This story is well written, intriguing, suspenseful, and fast-paced. Jax, captain of the Talzor starship, and Mitzi's story is captivating. They share an instant attraction and a strong chemistry. Jax is the captain of the Talzor starship, and Mitzi is a professional matchmaker hired by Jax to find soul mates for six o ...more

The Talzorians are in need of compatible females to mate with as their own woman are infertile. After rescuing some stranded astronauts on a malfunctioning space station, Captain Jax is in negotiations for six human brides for his crew. Mitzi was perfect! Mitzi, a matchmaker, has been tasked with matching alien warriors to earth women. A task that is of utmost importance to the future if mankind. Throughout the story Captian Jax and Mitzi struggle to come to terms with their feelings for one another. Not part of the original selection of eligible warriors, Jax's empathy gene makes its self known around Mitzi. But what happens when the human wants to stay firmly planted on earth, while as a Captain, Jax is an alien warrior...who ...more

Cyborg finds love with a human. A matchmaker falls for one of her clients. How romantic is that?! Jax and Mitzi both try to avoid the obvious chemistry between them, but they finally give in to the temptations. These two are so good together. I loved their interactions and banter, but I truly appreciated their principles and sense of justice and right and wrong. Others are constantly trying to thwart them, but good does triumph over evil. Yay! I look forward to the other prospective brides journ ...more
The title seems a bit corny, but the story is solid! The story is straightforward, but it is fun and engaging as Mitzi works to find matches for Talzorian males. Captain Jax is her liaison from Talzor and their instant chemistry is explosive. It takes them a while to tolerate each other, but in the end they make a great couple.

Narrator Elizabeth Walker did a fantastic job bringing these characters and story to life! This is the first narration I’ve heard from her, but I hope it is not my last.

This was an overall great romantic feel good audiobook. It had lots of fun, sweet and soft moments. In addition, it also carried action, suspense and thrills! Besides getting frustrated with the "do I or don't I" seen in all romance books, where you just want to shake the heroine, I was in tune to every moment. The narrator did an awesome job making it feel as if the book was being played out before you. I hope there is more to come because I think this could be a fantastic series. Either way, I ...more

I really enjoyed this book, more then I thought and I would have given the book a five star rating but I hate the title of the book. It just does not fit the book at all, while the name of the project is "Planet Talzor needs Brides" that is not a good name for the book. It almost made me pass the book up. This is a great easy read story with as you can guess a main character from another planet but it is set on earth (for the most part) and a great story. Do your self a favor and read/listen to ...more

An alien romance that will sweep you off your feet. She is a matchmaker like her grandmother but she never would of thought she would be placing human woman with alien males. But her government called, and well also threatened, to help them out. The story includes one handsome alien male, Jax, who any woman would want. There is also a AI called Tal thought livens things up at times. Add in a cyborg bounty hunter who plans on killing not just Jax but any who get in his way. Lots of action and ple ...more

This story really kept me on my toes. It was more than alien meets human woman and they fall in love. Mitzi did her job, and we got to follow the process of what would happen in a normal situation for a woman in her shoes. There was enough of the science to make it more of a story. I loved Mitzi’s grandmother and her advice. And Tal was a great side kick for both Jax and Mitzi. He was the perfect humor without even trying. I enjoyed being able to read the adventure with a side of romance thrown ...more

I found this to be an enjoyable read. It is well written and the characters interesting. Mitzi our matchmaker is tasked with finding six brides. Captain Jax is on earth to find brides (soul mates) for his men as their females have become unable to bare children. Neither Cap Jax nor Mitzi had planned to find their soul mate in each other. Great Read with lots of action. Received a copy from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest review.

First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but it in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.

Wow, this story was so good. Not quite your typical alien love story. This had a lot going on in it. Lots of danger, a controlling US commander, a psycho cyborg killer, a funny crazy AI, and two people fighting their attraction to each other. I recommend this read 5 Thumbs up

She is a matchmaker but she is surprised when she has to be a matchmaker for an alien race. They meet her and one clashes with her. It seems they may be the one for each other but it will not be so easy. Will she find mates for the others? What will they do? See what will happen between them

I quite enjoyed this matchmaker tale and found the mistreatment of Mitzi believable, l was angry on her behalf. Lovely touch having her gift inherited from her beloved grandmother. I admired Tals dedication, even in the heat of battle, very touching. The next book should prove interesting when the brides wake up

The first book in the Shalhiari Space Chronicles series and I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is Jax, captain of the Talzor starship and Mitzi a professional matchmaker's story. I found myself smiling at some of the things that happen. A well-written story.

I needed a good alien romance. I was really into the story but the last quarter of the book kind of dragged. They both had their doubts and felt like it was through the entire story. Overall really cute story.

I loved this book Eva did a great job on this book yes it was about aliens and humans mating and pairing off but it was unique. And it didn’t all happen on anther planet 99% of the story occurs on earth. The characters are easy to like and love. The story flows really well and it leaves you wanting more. I am curious to see if we will get more stories from the other ladies that did get to leave the planet.

Funny and highly entertaining throughout!

I was very pleasantly surprised about how much I loved this sci-fi romance audiobook, from the very first minute all the way to the end. It was a breath of fresh air in the sci-fi romance subgenre. The story setup is wonderfully outrageous, and I could not stop listening to it. The detailed technology, culture, and backstory of the hero swept me away. I also loved that there was always something happening, either in the relationship or plot development.
