I don't know anything about Palo. This book was very informative. But a lot of it was untranslated. And it lost a star for me because of that.

The author has written a lot of books on Palo, Santaria and such. How can he be truly knowledgable on all these subjects? Something to consider

i read this book, a lot of great info for the real ones with unique situations. We need more Kongo direct to English. I have big respect for the Palo religion, and why this structure is to keep the fake priest with bad intentions away from the culture. By blood I am Kongo, my suggestion to go to the Kongo and get your pure training in the same language as our ancestors. Cut the chase and go home to the mother continent.
