This book allows young children to see all the different forms of water. It uses simple words to describe the different forms of water. The photos throughout the book allow children to see real images of the different water forms. It also shows photos of different ways children use the different forms of water. I would use this book to introduce children to the water cycle and how it works. This book would be a great way for children to see how important water is to us.

This shows pictures of water in different liquid and solid forms. The photographs are very nice. I wish they could have shows it gas form or talked about it being capable of being solid, liquid and gas.

Summary
This is a short book containing facts about water. The author describes what water is, as well as the different forms in which we see water. The author provides images for the different forms. The author closes the text with a question, opening the book to interaction.
Evaluation
The author uses examples for forms of water, with relatable images. I think this was a great contribution to the text. The author also provides a section for further reading in the back of the text, which provides the reader with more facts about water and its forms. This is a good book to use for younger kids, because it uses small vocabulary words, as well as short words that new readers are probably familiar with.
Teaching Ideas
When teaching the water cycle, the teacher can read this book to her students. The teacher can then evaluate which cycle is occurring, or has occurred, in order to develop the form of water that is being described in the text.
