Here is a prime example of how good editing makes a best seller. (Or not, in this case). The story of Wolfe Frank, a German-born adventurer who joined the British Army in WW2 and became an interpreter at the Nuremberg Trails shortly after the war is told here mostly in his own words. Five wives, many affairs, dozens of one night stands are the least of his adventures in life, but are only mentioned in passing. A great book about an incredible man. Pity it feels unfinished, as if it was hastily put together towards the end.
