The king has a big secret that he doesn't want anyone to find out about. Every time he needs a haircut, he employs the services of one of his servants to do it. Once they find out about his dreaded secret, they are then sent to prison - where they cannot tell anyone else about it. One day it was Meg's turn to cut his hair and when she found out his secret, promised not to tell anyone so that she would not be sent to prison like the rest of the servants were before her. She tells the king that she cannot go to prison because there would be no one to look after her sick mother. The problem is Meg cannot go to sleep and has to tell someone. She tells the king's secret to a tree, which should be ok as the tree cannot talk right? Read the book and you'll find out what the outcome of telling the tree was.

I loved this little book. The king has donkey ears, and every month when he takes off his crown to get a hair cut, he imprisons the servant who cuts his hair so no one can tell about the donkey ears. But when he lets one servant go, she tells a tree. And later the tree gets cut down and turned into a harp. What could go wrong? 😆 So funny!

Not great. Though once again Noah followed along and seemed interested.

People might not mind what you find strange about yourself; you need to learn to accept your own quirks.

Wow, if u have not read this amazing possibly even life changing book don’t read the rest of my review because their will be spoilers, I just can’t help myself! The KING HAS DONKEY EARS. I was taken aback when I found this out and I had to read the book 2x to really understand the depth of It. Once again Wow, I definitely recommend.
