This is a really wonderful scholarly publication regarding anthropology and cross cultural research and comparisons. Each chapter is structured in the same way regarding the major themes that define each society so the entire text is very 'readable' from cover to cover. It is also wonderful how each chapter builds on the one before it into the conclusion.
