Plotkin argues that in the near future, abstract of social science will collaborate with the concrete natural science in figuring out what culture is (what social science can only hypothesizes, natural science will confirm). Plotkin's argument stems that where memory is an accumulated knowledge of an individual acquired during development, culture is accumulated knowledge of a species (an inter-species) acquired during development.
