We used this book for Hanukkah 2 years running in our Hebrew school preschool program. The children liked the refrain and asking if they were as brave as a Maccabee; we liked the challenge being like a Maccabee in everyday life. It was especially useful because it tells the actual story instead of focusing merely on Hanukkah traditions.
