When everybody is against them, it is tough being a lifeliner, as Nash Bannon found out. Lifeliners are ordinary people…almost. They can draw energy from another person; they live longer and are smarter. Scientists claim that Western high-pressure living and growing sterility in developed countries has triggered the rise of lifeliners, and homo sapiens will replaced by hom ...more

I expected a Sci-Fi novel to have alien characters and surroundings but was surprised to discover that the human characters in ‘Lifeliners’ were masterfully created by Stefan Vučak. The characters in the book were believable and distinctive, and I was able to relate to their personal tragedies and victories. The author drew me in and I was captivated by the story. Lifeliners are a new species called “homo ranata”. The government claimed that they maintained law and order, while lifeliners threat ...more

Lifeliners was a fascinating Sci-Fi read that had me hooked from beginning to end. Stefan Vucak has penned a really great novel here with lots of action, drama, suspense, and romance!

I loved the characters and the plot of this story. It is so unique, and I’m not sure I’ve read anything quite like it. There’s a lot of mystery and suspense happening here. It’s exactly what I’m looking for when I pick up a Sci-Fi novel!

I love the main character, Nash. He is a really well-rounded character, and I lo

The world as we know it is slowly changing and so are the people around us. Humans are slowly dying out and becoming extinct and Lifeliners are being born every day and becoming the majority. Lifeliners are humans that are born needing a little something more than other humans. Lifeliners need more than food to survive they need the energy from humans.

Lifeliners hide from the world or they try to. They try to keep anyone from finding out that they are Lifeliners. If they are discovered as being

This was an extremely long read and, for me, not the first book I would pick up. This book was all about politics and spoke in politics. Therefore, it make it slightly harder to understand considering I don't keep up with politics. It would have been slightly better had they explained more and didn't have overly long paragraphs just talking politics. I enjoyed the difference of it compared to other books. It gave a view from the other people's perspective and how hard being different can be.

Nash Bannon has to hide who he is from everyone. What is Nash you say? Why he's a lifeliner. As a lifeliner, Nash has abilities like a photographic memory and taking energy from others. When Nash believes he's found the one his world comes crashing down on his head. He's being outed as a lifeliner. He's asked to run for office but doesn't think he's qualified. How will life work out for Nash? Your answers await you in Lifeliners.
