4.2 Stars - Happy smiling, doubtless the best so far

Book #5

Destroyer of Worlds, is the fifth (4 hrs) novella part in the SPECTR series. PRN crime novellas written by a by me favorite author - Jordan L. Hawk. Add to that: Narrated by a simply fantastic voice belonging to Mr Brad Langer and fast-phased stories about a kind of odd and unique "threesome".

Four enjoying —a bit twisted, both creepy and spooky— shorter stories with well told interesting crime cases

I love this series. I love the fact that it's so brilliantly plotted through, and the wonderful use of various monsters, and the fantastic action sequences and the very hot three-way relationship between John, Caleb and the drakul in Caleb's head. I also love the fact that I have this book at all, because the ending of book 4 made me scream aloud and I have been waiting for this with very little patience indeed.

In this book we have the culmination to a lot of plotlines - Caleb's 40 days are up

I want it in the record that under no circumstances did I cradle/stroke my Kindle while whispering “my precious” in a creepy Gollum voice, when I got my copy of this book. I, in no way, did that. ‘Cause that would be weird. So…totally didn’t do that. I swear.

Right. Now that we’ve got that settled…

Caleb’s biggest problem should’ve been the fact that he’s got a week till his clock stops ticking and he’s got a permanent roommate in his head. That was until he found himself remanded to the control o
Still feeling the same. This series just gets better and better. I reread this in one sitting last night and then this morning I reread that scene at the end because hot.

I think this one is my favorite yet! And that scene at the end -- so fucking hot.

This book really keeps the listener on a wild ride! So much happens here! Lots of things about Spectr, a new group, and John/Caleb/Grey.
Narration very good!

I could read series this all day.
Woohoo! This was the best installment! OMG, when Caleb gets blank by blank, I was shocked! How could blank do that?!?!?!?! And WTF is up with the super secret bunker? How could anyone think it's a good idea to try and control demons for an army? I could see that was a bad idea from the start. Clearly the people who gave the green light didn't have a high sense of self preservation because most of those dudes are dead. Hah, jokes on them!

I really loved this installment and highly recommend. The n

I said earlier that I thought book 4 was the best in the series. I was mistaken.

Blew me the fuck away. Mind utterly blown.
That was AWESOME!!!

Holy crap, what a ride.

This series just keeps getting better and better. There were some surprising twists in his installment and one or two things I saw coming. Terrific writing, fast paced action, an imaginative plot and smoking three way sex between two men. The cliff hanger has me hungry for the next much too short book. Gawd I love this series!

My personal favorite book of the series! This one kicks ass. If you haven't read this series yet, what are you waiting for? Book one is free so give it a try! This series sucked me in from the beginning and its a wild ride. Oh, and this one (unlike book four) doesn't end in a cliffhanger. YAY!

This one was a heavenly delicious delicacy with a demon on top.

Conspiracy theorists rejoice! Your lack of faith in government agencies is well founded in this 5th book of the series.

Shit starts getting dark here as our boys realize there is more than exorcising NHEs at play.

As always, fantastic sex scenes!!!
Audiobook review

Destroyer of Worlds will definitely have your heart racing and mind spinning. It’s fast paced and things are tenser than ever. Caleb/Gray have been taken into SPECTR custody, and unknown holding place where they perform test after test. The deadline for the exorcism is only days away and everyone is on edge. But things are not as they seem and SPECTR are keeping secrets from them – the least being that the holding place contained many, many demons. Not to mention the sinister wa

What's this? The guy on the cover is dressed, unlike for the previous 4 stories in the series?! *le gasp*

If this series were a single book, this would be the part to race through, because it gets really exciting. The plot switches from monster-of-the-week to the main event, things are uncovered, the good guys and the bad guys are clearly divided, (the right) decisions are made, confessions and confessed and we're heading on quickly to the final confrontation. I might be going out on a limb here,
Wow. This was intense ... and finally they talked.
Loved it.
Now the last book

This is the best book in the series so far. It sees Caleb making a vital decision about his future and John coming to terms with the shadowy side of SPECTRE. Friends become enemies and colleagues become allies.

Lots of action which resolves some of the questions and also sets the series up for more adventures. I really like this book because it takes the series to a new level and ramps up the action.

We also get to see old characters with new depth. Caleb, John, Sean, Tiffany, and even the bosses
The Spectr series has definitely gotten better as its gone along. Gray has come into his own and this has added an excellent dynamic to the storyline.

4.5 for this one ... WOW I loved it - finally after much carnage, terrible disloyalty and one smokin reunion scene John, Caleb & Grey can find their rhythm- really enjoying the pace of this series ...more
Linda ~ they got the mustard out! ~
SO MUCH ACTION! Which Ms. Hawk has always been good at writing and it really shines here. Things with Spectr are not all they seem and the reveals here are nerve-wracking. There are twists and turns aplenty, so I won't say more so as not to spoil things. :D

As I said in my review for the first book in this series, I don't read M/M/M or polyamory of any kind. I was hesitant to start this one at first, but eventually decided to give it a go when the first one was offered free. I thought that it bei

The series finally hit it's stride, the character development was amazing, the ACTION was so good, and I would lay my life down for Gray. I'm so happy with how this threesome is developing, it's so GOOD

So much fun - lots of Gray time! Conspiracies, action, betrayal, love and suspense. This book had it all and I can't wait to read the next one.
5 stars. This was the BEST so far. Grey, Caleb and John really show us what their made of as they fight demons and SPECTR agents like the badasses they are.
This paranormal series is seriously good but I can't believe I now have to wait until July for the last installment, how will I manage! It was great to see Gray finally get the opportunity to step up and take control with John, it's what I've been waiting for all along. That last scene between the two of them was seriously hot and well worth waiting for! The three way relationship look like it could work and I love the way that Gray and Caleb are now starting to merge and become one.
I think this might be my favorite of the series so far. I definitely FELT more during this one than I did during the first few books of the series.
