6 books3 followersRick Rotondi is an author, filmmaker, and the founder of Cenacle — a new media company focused on the Bible, Christian culture, and the lives of the saints.
Rick grew up among a large extended family in Stoneham, Massachusetts. He was bitten by the travel bug early when his family moved to the outskirts of Paris for three years when he was nine years old. The three French-language television stations, none of which broadcast Mighty Mouse or the Monkees, turned Rick and his sisters to friendships, glorious outdoor explorations, and books.
Rick's taste for books and travel remained when he returned home, leading him to devour nearly everything written by C.S. Lewis and sending him on travels back to Europe, Mexico, Jamaica, Israel, and above all Australia, which enriched him not only with adventure but with his daughter and son. In an attempt to capture the exhilaration and conviviality of the Inklings, Rick's college years were spent making a nuisance of himself in seeking out authors such as Sheldon Vanauken, Walker Percy, Peter Kreeft, Fr. James Schall, SJ and Tom Howard, after which he was rewarded with a career in publishing.
Rick's own literary ambitions came to fruition only as he approached the Platonic age, with the release of Queen of Heaven with co-author Brian Kennelly. In addition to Biblical and historical projects, Rick is currently working on a retelling of the Lancelot saga, Bend Gules.
