Francine Paula Pascal was an American author best known for her Sweet Valley series of young adult novels. Sweet Valley High, the backbone of the collection, was made into a television series, which led to several spin-offs, including The Unicorn Club and Sweet Valley University. Although most of these books were published in the 1980s and 1990s, they remained so popular that several titles were re-released decades later.

Classic Sweet Valley! Jessica’s acted like a complete sociopath, reading her sisters diary and blackmailing her to join her new cheer squad… WHAT A RIDE!
Elizabeth, Enid and Todd were their usual drip selves. Mr. Collins shared inappropriate advice with a student. No good messages at ALL. God I love this ridiculous series!

Truthfully I was more interested in the love triangle side story than the main story and any time it switched back I would wait to get back to it. I’m a huge fan of Todd and Elizabeth’s relationship and it was frustrating when Elizabeth was doubting the great guy she already had. The cheerleading part was ok, obviously it’s the main part of the story but some parts dragged on longer than I would’ve liked. Also, me personally, there was lots of girls on the squad I had to remember which was difficult at times i guess. Still a fun read as always with SVH!
Also, Jessica’s scheme to get Elizabeth on the squad was unnecessarily petty, it’s hard to root for the protagonist when she can be so underhanded at times.

Possibly the most boring book in this whole series. Most of it is a recap of the first book in the trilogy, and there's not enough new action in this one to warrant a whole, tedious book. Maybe if you really love cheerleading, this could be interesting, but both the A and B plots were tedious and stupid.

Better than the last book that's for sure although Liz is very annoying. Pretends to be Jess, sneaks off with Ken then thinks "it's been a long time since she'd been with any boy but Todd" err how about Luke in London in the Horror in London trilogy???? How quickly she forgets!!!

I'm sorry but these books were ridiculous. The guys aka Todd Wilkins, Ken Matthews and Winston Egbert dressed in drag is just ridiculous. I should have DNFed this series. I don't remember the twins being this stupid when I first read these books at age 16.

Once again Liz has gotten a little too sanctimonious.

Edge of my seat

I enjoyed finding out who would win, the competition and how the twins would get past Elizabeth and Ken's betrayal.
