It's not the worst art book I've ever seen though, but it did not wow me either. I wish there was more information about the artworks, but if you are only looking for brief summaries about art then this is a good book to add to your collection. There isn't much about pagan themes in it though, so if you are into all-antica artwork then you will be disappointed. Also, the index isn't very helpful.

I think it's worth checking out if you just want to flip through some information if you are just trying to see if there will be a lot of information on a piece, because you are writing a research paper. I'm glad I was only borrowing it from the library though, since it didn't help me too much.
