This is quite old - but the fundamentals and basics are timeless.
The main takeaway of this book is that to get rich, you have to become obsessed with money. It lost me at a chapter focusing on using telepathic powers and making business decisions by syncing to cosmic vibrations. It really is a self-help book from the 30s. Utter nonsense. Avoid.

I've had this book on my shelf for years. I finally pulled it off when my mastermind group decided to read it! Two words: Game. Changer.

If you're like me and you've had this book on your shelf for years, too, then pull it off and get to reading. It's a dynamic read and nothing I write can oversell it.

There is no good words that are left to describe how good this book is. There is already so much written about this book that I feel loss of words in describing what this book has done for me. I have read it nearly more than 50 times and I still read it every year twice because this book is a book that has helped me in changing my life miraculously.
I hope you have read about the documentary called "The Secret" which has been a blockbuster release since its release in 2006. That documentary has

Read this first:

Short Review: Do not read this book. If you are curious about reforming your personal finance habits, read Ken Fisher’s “Ten Roads to Riches”, or “The Millionaire Next Door” (probably both). I know that the people who are fans of this book are HUGE fans, but there’s a lot of questionable and misleading information in this book. Many of the claims are unsubstantiated, have been disproved by proven science, and/or are very speculative and la

Main takeaways and notes from Think and Grow Rich either directly quoted or paraphrased:

1) Wealth rarely purely comes from luck or coincidence. Almost always the result of different traits and skills anyone can learn and acquire.

2) How can find the right goals in life and how do translate them into action?
- We can only accomplish our aims in life if we are driven by a burning desire - (E.g. Thomas Edison 10,000 failed experiments) - Examine our own personal attitude towards setting our goals an

This book is mental! It’s completely out there!

It’s been recommended to me for years, and I can see why. Napoleon Hill really was a founding father of the self-help genre - this book was written in 1937! It was interesting/awful to see him refer to The World War in the singular, and to refer to the Great Depression as something very recent. and talking about outdated fashion from the 1890s! Amazing!

The book I read before this, ‘You Are A Badass’, borrows heavily from this book, possibly to the l
Having read The Miracle Morning and Eat That Frog recently, I enjoyed the first half of this book and found it insightful and inspirational, despite it being very dated.

However, the second half of the book noted and baffled me in equal measure. Pages and pages about how the author holds Council meetings with figments of his imagination (who happen to be notable successful men from history). He writes anecdotes about conversations they’ve had as if it really happened. This part wasn’t the only b

This is self-help bullshit. It is literally “The Secret”. It makes up a “force” in the universe that responds to thoughts and brings you what you want. The book claims the law of autosuggestion is unexplained by scientists. “The feeling of love is close enough to those positive vibrations of faith that cause magnetic attraction which bring in the positive force of the ether.”

I concede that setting a goal and focusing on it will bring you closer to the goal. However, this doesn’t mean that the ph

5- Imagination
6- Organized Planning

Think and Grow Rich is a book which will help you clearing your doubts and fears and will take you to the second planet where only and only Positive vibes and people with positive vibes exist.
A lil bit expanded initially but later on after chapter 3 it starts magnetizing you. Then you can't wait for the suspense written on the next page. You are surely going to reap benefits out of this book if you are seeking to work upon yourself. Thanking Mr.Napolean Hill and Mr. Carniege for unleashing thes

This book is a classic one. Originally published in late 1930s, this book provides 13 principles on how one can be successful. Although its title states that it is about being rich, the principles here does not only apply to money but on how to be successful in itself. There are many references in the book that will help anyone a lot.
Since this book was published several decades ago, all featured individuals here are not longer alive. The book is also written in the mood of its time so some read

Napoleon Hill was an American author in the area of the new thought movement who was one of the earliest producers of the modern genre of personal-success literature. He is widely considered to be one of the great writers on success. “A long while ago, a great warrior faced a situation which made it necessary for him to make a decision which insured his success on the battlefield. He was about to send his armies against a powerful foe, whose men outnumbered his own. He loaded his soldiers into boats, sailed to the enemy’s country, unloaded soldiers and equipment, then gave the order to burn the ships that had carried them. Addressing his men before the first battle, he said, “You see the boats going up in smoke. That means that we cannot leave these shores alive unless we win! We now have no choice-we win-or we perish! They won. Every person who wins in any undertaking must be willing to burn his ships and cut all sources of retreat. Only by so doing can one be sure of maintaining that state of mind known as a burning desire to win, essential to success.” 0 likes
“Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say "I want plenty of money." Be definite as to the amount. (There is a psychological reason for definiteness which will be described in a subsequent chapter).  2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. (There is no such reality as "something for nothing”.) 3. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire. 4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or” 0 likes
