This is a cute book that uses touch and feel pullout play animal pieces for each baby animal discussed. The book is easy to read and perfect for younger readers who need stimulation through touch and physically using the materials in the book. I would use the book to disucss with my younger readers about animals...how they feel? what do they look like? This book could also be used in a discussion about adjectives. In small groups, give each group 1 animal from the book to describe using learned adjectives.....they could look at it, touch it and feel it.
