I love the set up for this series – giving us the stories of the children from the Beaumont series - and this time it’s Quinn’s turn.

Quinn is the son of Harrison, and adopted son of Katelyn from My Unexpected Forever. We meet him as an eight year old when his parents met and fell in love, and he has grown up in the midst of the Beaumont family, with parents that he loves and is super close to, twin step-sisters that he loves like his own and a best friend in Noah, son of Liam and Josie

Quinn James lives a fairly quiet life. He is part of a huge family that has very much lived in the spotlight but he prefers to fly under the public radar. He enjoys writing songs and performing once a week at an open mic night at a local bar. Lately, his sister Elle has been putting pressure on him to join a band she is forming but that is not something that interests him. He enjoys what he does now.

Eleanora has just graduated from college in Idaho. Her family is from the south and now

This is the third book in this next generation series and will have spoilers fro the books previous but could be read as a stand alone if you aren't going to read the whole series. Finally, we get sweet
Quinn's story. Almost shy but super talented like his dad Harrison. I have been dying to see what happens with him since we first met him as a little boy.

The story is told in dual POV but the first half of the book is really about Elenora and Quinn as they exist in space and how they got to the

This is really painful for me to give this book 3 stars. I’ve loved this series so far and the original Beaumont series. I was so excited about Quinn’s story because he was always the enigma when it came to the kids. But this book didn’t grab my attention the way the others have. I just didn’t feel the connection between him and Eleanora, something that Heidi McLaughlin usually excels in. That being said I did enjoy reading about Quinn and of course all the other characters that I know and love ...more

Chasing My Forever is the newest installation of the Beaumont series “next generation.” This is Quinn’s story. It was one of family, love, insecurity, anxiety and expectations.

Quinn James is the son of famous rocker Harrison James. He has experienced so much in life. Quinn is trying to find his way. His direction. He is watching his siblings and cousins forge ahead in their careers and futures. Like his dad, Quinn is a musician. He is also shy and quiet. He enjoys playing guitar every Friday nig

The early copy I read of this book is my second by this author, and I’m beginning to sense a pattern. She loves to torture her readers by keeping the hero and heroine apart for something like 80 percent of the book! In some ways that’s all well and good, because the characters go through growth and development that wouldn’t occur quite as well if they were together. But the thing about all that angst is that there has to be enough payoff to make it an exceptional experience for the reader. If th ...more

The Beaumont crew is a powerhouse. Their love is constant, loyal and unwavering. Their bond is unique and I truly adore every word that Heidi McLaughlin can bleed on to a page about them.

The stand out for me has always been Harrison. He has always been my guy. There was something about that beanie wearing, tattooed rock star. He will always have my heart. Always.
Now I need to share my heart with another James man. Quinn.
He is everything Harrison is and more, including the beanie!

I loved this one. Quinn and Eleanora are great characters. In the beginning these two are on different paths and I couldn't wait until they meet and to see where there story was going to go. Eleanora's live is all planned out for her. After college graduation, she is to return home and marry for high school boyfriend. She gets an opportunity to go to LA with her friends, she goes. Quinn is a very likable guy. He's struggling with life decisions. Their paths cross is LA. Quinn is from a famous fa ...more

I didn't enjoy this one at all....which is sad because I have been looking forward to Quinn's book for a while The story seemed so rushed and while if done right, I dont mind reading about insta love but these 2 went from like 1 date to I love you, please move in with me.....huh?

Not too mention at the beginning of the book her parents seemed like these overbearing monsters who totally controlled and ruled her life to the end of the book her father is scratching his chin and telling Quinn, yes

I have enjoyed the whole Beaumont world, but I find these next gen stories a bit rushed and lacking something.
In this book, I found it started really slowly and the two characters had so little overlap that it just didn’t make sense to me.
I also felt that the end was cut short, like way short. It was almost as if she ran out of time and had to finish where she was.
Still, I like Quinn. I liked Nola. I still don’t really like Elle.
All in all, this series is a little strange for me. I

Chasing My Forever is part of the Beaumont series, starring the next generation of kids, from the books featuring members of a rock band. While it’s a Standalone, this is the third book and could have spoilers if you haven’t read the previous books, so it’s best to read them in order. This is Quinn’s story, told in dual POV, and it’s a sweet romance with just a little bit of angst mixed in.

Right way, I knew this was part of a series. I didn't like the fact that I felt lost during most of the first chapter. Eventually, I was able to connect the dots on who's who with this very large circle of friends, family, and band. Now that I know that this is part of very large 12 book series--The Beaumont Series and book three of the spin off The Next Generation. I want to read every book before it so that I can get to know these characters even more. Most of the time, I do not like dropping ...more

This is book three in the Beaumont Next Generation and this is Quinn’s book. Oh, how I waited for this book. I couldn't wait to read his book from the time I knew the kids were coming. I was so excited to get my hands on his book. Quinn is so much like his dad, Harrison. What that man wouldn't do for his family and Quinn is the same. If you have read any of the books from Beaumont series by Heidi McLaughlin, you’re going to love this book just as much as all the others. Meet Quinn, the son of Harrison and Katelyn, the next generation or Beaumont’s finest.

Harrison James was my favourite of the guys from the Beaumont series, he has a heart that just oozed authenticity and as the saying goes, the apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree because e Quinn James is every bit his father’s son and for me that meant that I was ready to fall in love all over again.
Quinn likes the quiet life, pottering on the fringes of the music world, singing on open mike nights and generally keeping himself to himself, he doesn’t even date much, it’s too much hassle ke

Oh Sweet Quinn!!

Heidi McLaughlin brings the music back with CHASING MY FOREVER, the newest book in the Beaumont Next Generation series. We get to know more about Quinn who captured our hearts as the shy and quiet son of Harrison James.

From the beginning of CHASING MY FOREVER, we get an understanding of the importance of family .This is a major theme of all of the Beaumont books and one of the reasons that I’m drawn to them. And because of his childhood, family and acceptance and bel

I knew there were things going on in Quinn from his previous appearances in his sister's stories, but I really didn't know how deep the well was until Chasing My Forever. He's a shy man who just wants to be left alone to play on open mic nights, though he's a very talented musician. His shyness tends to come off rude, but thankfully he meets another tortured soul in Eleanora, aka Nola, after she gets a job at his favorite place to play. They start on a slow burn journey, which definitely makes a ...more

Quinn is very much like his father Harrison. He may not be Katelyn’s son biologically but he is her son. Katelyn loves Quinn as her own and there is no difference between him and her biological daughters. I love the relationship between Quinn and Katelyn. It’s always been very close and he knows he can go to her whenever he needs to talk.
Quinn meets Eleanora and there’s an instant attraction. Eleanora while with her friend is going by Nola and that’s the name she gives Quinn. She has things she

Meet Quinn, he's the quiet son of drummer Harrison & Katelyn. He's happy playing in the little coffee shop on Friday nights open mic night! Until his sister wants him to join the band she's forming, and that sends Quinn into a tailspin.

Quinn was raised in a loud and boisterous family however there is no denying the love that exists between them. He has a gentle artistic soul and prefers to just enjoy the songs he writes and performs in small locals rather than join his sister’s band despite the pressure she is placing on him.

When this series started, Harrison was my favorite out of the bandmates. Quiet, reserved, he is who he is, he wont change that. Quinn is his daddy. Although he has some demons he has to get over to become the man we see in this book, it was just as great as watching Harrison and Katelyn fall in love. I loved how Quinn grows out of his quiet shell, I love the relationship he has with Katelyn and that he actually is more comfortable with her for advice than his dad. I love that his sisters and him ...more

Quinn is one of my favorite type of guys. He’s a bit reserved and shy but he doesn’t let people walk all over him. Eleanora is very similar to Quinn. Eleanora has lived a pretty simple life.... as long as she does what her parents wish. She’s ready to start living. When Nora and Quinn meet, they fall hard and fast. They are keeping secrets and hiding things from each other.

Aww another fantastic read from Heidi McLaughlin. I've been really looking forward to reading this book and it didn't disappoint. Its a beautifully written slow burn page turner.

Yes I have always loved Harrison and Quinn. There is just something about how their story started that really got to me. Quinn is so amazing, I get being shy and trying to hide in the shadows. But when everyone around you is famous or reaching their goal it's hard to stay hidden.

Chasing My Forever by Heidi McLaughlin is book three in her Beaumont - Next Generation Series, a spin-off from the Beaumont Series.
Every book in the series is about another couple and a standalone. For a better reading experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous books are Holding Onto Forever, Peyton and Noah's heart-wrenching story - my favorite in this series-; and My Unexpected Love, Elle and Ben's story.
Chasing My Forever tells the story of the last single James sibling.
