I've read the German version of this second episode of "Guardians of the Blade". While the first episode introduced Daoma and the world of medieval China, this episode is his journey through the desert, escorting the man who wants to bring down the Emperor. There's a lot of information packed into the narrative which I found difficult to understand at times, I definitely lack knowledge about the connection between Indian culture, Zoroastrianism, the Turkish and Chinese. New characters are introduced as well, so this episode has that "link" - vibe rather than progressing the plot.
