So this was long...way too long...and sometimes really tedious as a result...but I still LOVED it.

Did I mention it was long?
And sometimes tedious?

Cause it was.

There were so many unnecessary scenes...
SO many superfluous conversations...
SO many blue Val balls...

But you know what?

Cause I adored this thing.

In the end, I adored all the unnecessary scenes. Because, yes, while they weren't really intrinsic as far as plot and character-building went, I loved spending more time with these characters

Woah This book has more words than the freakin oxford dictionary!

You know youre invested and in love when you stop counting pages and start counting moments. When you read 900+ pages and never once feel bored. When your hands became numb from being unable to put the book down. When you start feeling glad that youre stuck home with this book and nothing is going to separate you. When you turn dramatic and start writing a cringy review because youre in love!

However, if someone asked me what

hey readers, one word of advice: dont you live on this earth without ever reading this book!!

never have i ever read a high school romance book that if you combine this book and the first into one itll have more pages than the bible. gah this was so good, and ive officially become an emotional wreck!! i want to cry so hard and drown in my own tears until the next book comes out and pulls me into yet another angsty ride.

i dont want to jinx it, but
"I love you... a crazy fucking amount," she whispered...
"I love you too-" my voice cracked... "Most in the world."

you know those type of long ass books where you're satisfied but you still want more? yeah, that's how i feel reading this book and it's rare for me to feel this way. it's a perfect contradiction, really.

i don't know what to say but JUST. READ. THIS. BOOK. it's perfect. it literally has everything i never knew i needed. it's long because it has a lot of showing than telling.

5 addictive stars all along!

OK here is the deal: I read these two books in a row while I had several ARCs to read and much awaited books coming in my mailbox.

Whomever recommended these books to me (Yes Sarah J Penas I blame you lady!) on my FB page will have to address all complaints by PR agencies if I fail to meet my commitments regarding ARCs!

Kidding Sara relax, I will manage.

Chloe Walsh was a totally new author to me. I had never heard about her.

She managed to write two contemporary NA
Oh sweet lord, I made it through 1800 pages of Johnny and Shannons love story. It was so good.

Johnny is probably the sweetest and cutest boy ever and if you havent read these books yet then you are missing out on a lot. A. Lot.

All the stars!!! This book had everything, one minute it had you tearing up and the next chuckling with humour. There were so many emotions in this book and the story telling was amazing, you felt everything along with the characters.

Love love love Johnny, Shannon, Joey, Gibsie, the brothers and all the others - the only one I didnt like was Bella! I cant wait to read more of this series.

You MUST read Binding 13 before reading this one. This one starts with a bang of emotion and keeps delivering

5+ Mind-Blowing STARS!

And the award for Best Book of 2018 goes to*drum roll please*

Seriously, this book and Binding 13 are my TOP favorite reads of the year. Actually, Im fairly confident in saying that they are my favorite books of ALL TIME. And I dont toss around that term lightly because I have loads of favorite books and read around 150 to 200 books a year, but the Boys of Tommen have blown every other one of my favorites clear out of the water.

Its taken me awhile to write up

Lots of teenage angst snd back and forth
I really hoped that Shannon wouldn't have needed saving so much in this one, for me, when reading about victims of abuse I always want to see the turnaround moment, that moment where they rake back their power and say enough is enough and I didn't get that here
Johnny was better than 95% of adult heroes in today's romance world, the way he loved and supported her was a thing of

Im going to try do this review without spoilers, but itll be hard. I bloody loved this book and just want to talk about it all day.

Keeping 13 had it all. Everything you could want in a perfect book that pulls you in at the start and spits you out at the end with a book hangover.
The emotions in K13 are beyond amazing. I laughed so hard I had stitches. At times I cried so much that I couldnt even read the words and had to pause. A few times I wanted to throw my e-reader across the room as I was

This book here proof romance never die

I cant wait to get on Gibsie story

So, I'll write the cumulative review for both, book 1 Binding 13 and Keeping 13.

uf, first, let me start with that fact that this is not my first time reading smth from Chloe Walsh, so I somewhat had an idea of what I might come into contact with while reading this duet and still, I was struck by the power of vivid imagery and emotional spin of high altitude.

Ms Walsh usually writes angsty YA with some heavy subject in the background and as I expected the same here, I was stunned by the emotinal

First of all, again, my main complaint is the age of the main characters. And then the length of the book.

But, that being said, it was a really great book!

We pick up where we were left in Binding 13.....I was a little anxious in the beginning. It is obvious though that Johnny is dedicated to helping Shannon. He was her rock, and she his, as he struggled to

Another great book from Chloe!

Don't know where to start. This book really gets you in the feels. It's such a rollercoaster ride. One minute your laughing youy butt off the next your in tears. I absolutely love Johnny and Shannon. My only complaint is I need more of them. Oh and Gibsie! What can I say about him.....he provides so much comic relief. You can't not love Gibsie. I've loved Chloe's books since I came across the Carter kids and have since then read everything she has written. Her

I couldn't put this book down. I literally started the first book last night and finished it this morning, and I spent the whole day today finishing the second book and it was way too good. Chloe Walsh was a new-to-me author before I started this series, but she's quickly becoming one of my favorites and I'm excited to get into her other books! I absolutely adored the story, characters, friendships, writing, and romance from these first 2 books. This was so much more than just a

I think the (over)use of shiver bothered me more than the fbombs. This second book took like a week for me to read. It dragged ass, but I still enjoyed it. Mostly for Gibsie. I need Gibsie's book.

First if you have not read Binding 13 stop and read that first. You will truly be lost in this book if you have not read book 1 in the series...

2nd if you do not like long epic reads this series may not be for you. The characters are young and deal with some extremely tough and emotionally charged and abusive situations. This may be tough to read for sensitive readers, but it is important to remember the overwhelming theme is surviving, family, friendship and young love...

2018 was THE year!

I'm such a lucky girl! In 2018, I have read a lot of great books. Several of them have been GREAT books too! But, in the middle of this year I stumbled onto a brand new authoress named Chloe Walsh. I read Binding 13 and was bloooooown completely apart! I couldn't tell which way was up!!! The book hangover was massive and I joined Chloe's Clovers to see if I was alone in this funk after reading Binding 13. Lo and behold, I found my friends who all sounded

Love love love

After reading Binding 13 and falling in love with Shannon and Johnny I couldnt wait for keeping 13 and boy did it live up to its expectations!

Never have I read a book before where I became so invested in lots of the characters, this story is one I will read over and over again.

Shannon a beautiful brave girl, with five brothers who I love as much as her especially Joey, i experienced their pain because I was so invested in each of the six siblings.

This author surprised me yet again. Not necessarily with the fact that this was good, but the facts that it was almost 1000 pages long yet I was just as involved with the story at page 1 as I was at page 800. I cant wait to see what the next book has in store for us. ...more

All the feels!!!

As always, Chloe Walsh has done it again! She never disappoints her avid fans when it comes to her books.

I don't want to give away any spoilers so I'll keep this short. Keeping 13 is the much anticipated sequel of Binding 13. I can assure you, the moment you start reading the first chapter, it will rip your heart out and as it goes on, you won't get a hold with all your emotions (pain, love, frustrations, hope, laughter, etc.). I don't even want to stop for a sleep coz I just

Sooo worth the wait. I took two days off work just to finish this book and now I am in a book hang over not yet able to move on. Read Binding 13 and Keeping 13, you will love them!!!

Holy crap this was a good book! Now I am in a deep depression because there are no more pages to read!!! These first 2 books in this series have been my favorite of Chloe Walsh and I really hope that Shannon and Johnny's stories are NOT over and she revisits them in the future. I still am not over just how awesome these books were!

Five stars is just not enough for this sequel! I couldnt wait for this book to come out, even had the pleasure of re-reading the 1st book shortly before the 2nd book was released so I was up to date, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Simply said, this book is excellent! The characters came to life again on each page and their friendships shined (I loved that Shannon kept using that word when talking to Johnny about his Rugby career). I want, no I need a Gibsie in my life. He was
