Of all the women in the world, I had to be trapped in my cabin with a virgin.
A reclusive mountain man An engaged college undergrad The snowstorm of the Century
Lucy
I’m a college virgin. There, I said it. Embarrassing right? How did it happen?
Between maintaining my GPA and my grueling track and field practices, I haven’t had time for anything, or anyone else – including my new fiancé, Lawrence.
Waking up in a cabin next to the bearded mountain man was a shock, and let’s face it, a little bit scary. What was scarier though, was how good I felt when I was with him.
I have been saving myself for the right moment, not necessarily my wedding night, and I can’t help but wonder if the right moment is in front of me, smelling like cedar, musk, and woodstove.
Mick
Talk about irony: a sex addict trapped in a cabin with a virgin.
But for some reason, the protector in me is overriding the raw primal animal lurking inside of me.
There are two reasons why I won’t sleep with Lucy: the first, and obvious one, I mean, she’s engaged, although that never would’ve stopped me before; the second, I’ve made a vow to myself, to stay away from women.
And now I have a third, I am falling for her.
When Mick finds out the shocking truth about Lucy’s fiancé, will he be able to get to her in time to save her?
** The mountain man’s virgin is an over the top, trope after trope filled love story that could never ever happen in real life, even if we wish that it could.
I don't think he loves her .. he's just sorry for her-.- .. when he was at the club he saw a woman who all he thought about is taking her in the back.. or when he thinks about his DR all he think about is ... .. but with the heroine he admitted that he never thought about doing it with her .. but she's the woman that he want to stay with forever haa!!!

Very well written and good romance despite the base of the mountain man that could have been redundant and uninteresting, but the characters are very good and it creates an originality in the story. Lucy is betrothed to Lawrence, a wealthy student, but she is not sure of her feelings for him, especially that after an accident in which she almost died, this one does not come. She had been rescued by Mick, a hermit in the mountain who is none other than a billionaire who needed to exhilarate in the mountains so like this he isn’t confronted with his sexual addiction. He’s helping Lucy, and feelings are appearing on both sides. When Lucy finds her fiancé she understands that something more sober is hiding under her engagement, that Lawrence's behavior is suspicious and her emotional attachment to Mick makes his betrothal even less acceptable. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Wow, what a story that will grab you emotionally. Fate brings Lucy and Mick together when he rescues her from a bad snowstorm. Lots of twists and surprises to this story. He's a billionaire sex addict hiding out as a rough mountain recluse. She's an engaged virgin. Imagine how many ways this story can go, especially since their chemistry is over the top. Lots of ways this story can go, but I'm not giving any spoilers. More twists with the fiance. Well developed characters and an entertaining story with lots of depth. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
Lucy McKennit, a college student studying biochemistry, smoothed down her dress with shaking hands, wondering if she would ever feel comfortable around the wealthy people as she tried to fit in as Lawrence’s girlfriend. In the world of the rich, they seemed to have a language and vocabulary all their own. Watching how Hunter treated his girlfriend with no respect because she didn’t match their academic level made her uncomfortable, unable to figure why he was dating her if he felt that way. It seemed that both Lawrence and Hunter took pleasure in mocking the clueless young woman. After the dinner, Lawrence had champagne brought to the table. He got on one knee and offered Lucy an engagement ring. He was very rich, popular, and everything she could want – so why was her brain screaming NO?
Mick lives in the mountains because he knows he is a sex addict and felt he was keeping society safer if he didn’t let himself be tempted. His only indulgence is his helicopter, which one of his companies manufactures, and he uses it to get back and forth to his office periodically. What started out as a kind of self-punishment was starting to make him feel that he was where he belonged. Mick called out for his dog, then put on snowshoes and went looking for him. Chopper had lost a back leg and the heavy snows were causing him more problems as he got older. But he heard rustling nearby and found Chopper under the porch. The two of them went to chop wood before the snow arrived.
Tania invited Lucy to a weekend bachelorette party for her in the mountains with two other girls. It was obvious that Avery and Tania had gone to college to find a husband, while Montana focused on earning her MBA to take over her dad’s publishing corporation one day. Lucy connected immediately with her. Despite the roads getting slippery with the heavily falling snow, Tania continued driving at 70 mph. With the next skid, Tania slammed on the brakes seeing an oncoming car, and their vehicle rolled off a small cliff face. When Lucy woke, she checked the others. Everyone was alive. But the snow was bad and she had to go for help. It was soon going to be dark. But when she had to take a different path to get up the cliff, she suddenly realized she was lost.
Mick knew that Search and Rescue were trying to find the site of an accident. Sometime later, they radioed him that one of the victims left the car to get help. Mick and his dog took off in a snowmobile and tried to figure what way the person would go. Finally Chopper, who had helped in rescues before, started to bark and he found a body buried in snow. It was a woman and she might not survive. He took her back to his cabin and treated her hypothermia. She woke up fighting him and terrified, her odd dreams confusing her, the pain and burning in her feet a mystery. But his calm voice helped her settle down. Lucy couldn’t help but make comparisons between this man and Lawrence. They were so completely different – and everything about this man, even his scent, was attractive to her. She trusted him.
Being stuck together at the cabin during the storm, the two of them grow closer. There was a wrongness to her engagement and she wants to break things off. Mick cares for Lucy in a way that is new for him and he needs to explore this. Will things sort out for the two of them? Will they realize that they only now found what they needed all along in each other? Or will the selfish rich boy make sure that he gets what he thinks is his, no matter what it takes?
I thought the writing of this book was excellent. The descriptions give the reader a vivid impression of the people, their activities, and the surrounding landscape that makes everything seem more real and believable. The characters, by their actions and motivations, provide a clear impression for the reader to understand the truth behind what is happening. It definitely makes it easier to understand Lucy’s confusion about why she feels the way she does about things. The book really catches the reader’s attention and the story line kept things moving at a good pace. I definitely recommend this book. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss!
One great love story. Spoiler alert... Lucy is a college student with no time for men as she pursues her career goals through a college scholarship she would never had been able to afford. She meets popular guy while running track and they begin to date and then he proposes to her, which was a total surprise. Feeling she couldn't say no in front of a crowd of people, she accepts, but has doubts along the way. On a girl's weekend trip for her bachelorette party, they are in an accident. Lucy tries to leave the vehicle to go for help but falls prey to hypothermia. Billionaire, Mick Brady is a recovering sex addict who has been in a cabin in the woods for the last 3 months trying to get his emotions under control. He is sent out on a rescue mission to look for a missing person (Lucy). He and his dog find her and brings her back to his cabin to get her warned up. They form a wonderful connection and once Lucy finds out that her nobody can find her fiancé and he hasn't a clue she has been injured, she finds comfort (but not sex) in the arms of Mick. Eventually she gets reunited with her friends (and fiancé) and the fiancé goes bonkers over the fact that he thinks she gave up her virginity to Mick. Once he finds out this hasn't happened he calms down but tries to woo her into having sex with him. In the meantime, Mick finds out that her fiancé is a part of an old boys club who makes bets regarding sexual encounters. The bet is $1,000,000 for the first person to bed a virgin. Mick finds out where he has taken Lucy and comes to her rescue just in time.
This is a sweet love story with a great HEA. I received an ARC copy and are voluntarily posting an honest review.

i read this book as part of an arc program. In this book, Mick is living in the mountains because he is a sex addict and he cut himself off from temptation. Mick is a billionaire who runs a number of companies, he commutes to his office by helicopter. Lucy is a college student who is a virgin and studying biochemistry. Lucy is recently engaged and is going to a spa retreat with the girlfriends of her fiancee's friends. When they are in a car accident in a storm, Lucy leaves the car to find help and gets lost in the storm. Mick hears the call for a missing person and he sets out to find her. When Mick finds Lucy, she is close to death, so he takes her to his cabin to warm her up and saves her life. When Lucy and Mick are stuck at the cabin for a few days during the storm, they grow close and fight their mutual attraction. When Lucy wants to leave to see her fiancee, Mick takes her to the local hotel where he is and leaves without saying goodbye. Lucy knows something is wrong and wants to break off her engagement, but she wants to see her sick sister first. Mick knows something is wrong, so he sets out to find out why Lucy is with her fiancee, and what he is up to. Mick and Lucy have developed feelings for each other and they have to learn the truth before they act on things. Mick is a great guy and he wants to protect Lucy. I really enjoyed this book and thought Lucy and Mick had great chemistry. They had an instant love and were meant to be together. I loved how Mick wanted to expose the wrong doings and make things right for many others. Good one.
First I have to say I was surprised by this story. It held the essence of the playboy man however there was a twist to his playboy ways that made it tolerable. Michael 'Mick' Brady became a reclusive mountain man when his illness reared the last source of help he needed. Lucy McKennit, college girl, engaged to a man, Lawrence, she met at college after a short time dating, thought she had it all until she was in a car accident and was rescued by Mick. I loved how Mick admitted to his past as he and Lucy were trekking through the snow to the mountain ridge and she thought he was joking. I shed a few tears when Lucy visited her ailing sister in the hospital. Chewed on my lip nervously when Lucy discovered who Lawrence really was when he showed his true colors and even smiled when Mick once again saved Lucy. My only complaint was how every time Mick was faced with being around a woman or women it was written as his perception was she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and the same was said for Lucy. Kind of killed the belief that he was in love with Lucy after their really short time together, but other than that the storyline was great. Now that I've finished this book, I'm going back to read The Bikers Virgin and many more of A.J. Wynter's books. I borrowed this book through Kindle Unlimited and my opinions in this review are my own and unbiased.
Lucy is a strong independent collage student who is a virgin. She is engaged to marry Lawrence. They plan to wait till they marry to sleep together, but Lucy has started to think that they have no chemistry. She has gone on a girls weekend away when they are involved in a car accident.A winters storm has come out of nowhere. Lucy isn’t hurt and decides to go for help when two of the girls are unconscious. But going for help on a mountain when the snow just doesn’t let up is hard going. Mick yummy Mick lives on the mountain by choice. He is a sex addict and finds it hard to be around women with imagining them naked. He gets an emergency search and rescue call to find Lucy. With the help of his trusted dog they find Lucy who has hypothermia and very close to death. Mick does everything to get her warm. This is a outstanding read full of love but also shows a darker side that you won’t see coming. Will Lucy find the courage to say what she is feeling? Is she a gold digger? Will she keep her virginity till her wedding night I really enjoyed this book and can’t eait to read more from A.J. Wynter An easy 5 star rating I received an ARC and now I’m leaving my honest review
A awesome well written funny, sweet, and angst in the drama romance. A fast paced smooth flowing story. It has wonderful characters and detailed decriptions of people, surrounding landscape and actuvites making you feel as if your there. A virgin story like no other she is just waiting for the right person. Lucy considers herself lucky to grab the attention and be dating such a rich popular guy. Lance you just don't know in the beginning he just feels off. Mick is a billionaire hermit who sometimes help search and rescue. When encouraged to go on a paid girls weekend away to a spa with the other girlfriends, two of the three she never met, they end up crashing and rolling in a snowstorm. The story is so addicting I just had to know what happened and was glued page after page, enjoying every twist turn and obstacle. A must read and added to permanent library to be read again and again. Have no fear their is no cheating but very much so a happy ending where your heart just wants to explode with warmth and happiness. Kudos to author and will definetly be looking for more, loved the story and writing style. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC with my honest feelings.
This sweet little story will introduce you to Lucy Kennit. A college girl who felt she had the world on her shoulders. She was a good student and she was engaged to a smart and rich guy. As the tale goes on Lucy felt some doubts about her relationship but she considered herself lucky to have such a catch. A turbulent snowstorm makes things a little bit harder when she meets her rescuer, Mick Brady. She never encountered such a man and he made her feel things her rich fiancee' didn't inspire in her. She wanted all that he had to offer even if he was a hermit living in the mountains.
Mick Brady left society feeling his affliction woul border on dangerous. Until he met Lucy he definitely felt out of control emotions that settled too well with his affliction
As this story goes on you will see a strong instance of InstaLove and that determination to keep it strong. The light and intensity of this story will make you laugh, cry and become blown away. A good read that will make you smile.
I received an ARC copy of this novel and I voluntarily submitted my review.
OH MY LAWD-AMERCY!!! Talk about rocking a read. I fell in love. LOL. Yep! Couldn't help myself. This is one bad boy you don't want to miss. I was hook from the start and reeled in for the duration. If you're looking for action packed, sleeze balls, backstabbing men, lying, deceitful, snotty nosed loosers who get what's coming to 'em. Grab your copy now. You have it in spades. Talk about pulling the wool over your eyes. Unfortunately for some, the characters are well developed and believable. Their personalities are unique with qualities and multi-layered complexities it really adds spice in the mix. The scenes are so graphic and descriptive it paints a fantastic backdrop that really makes the storyline pop. With all the twists and turns, up and downs and running from douche bags. Yeah, that's exciting. The two main characters were drawn to one another. The two have an explosive chemistry that will rock your world. AJ did an exceptional job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Great job AJ, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.
Lots of HEAT in this cabin during a winter storm, but sweetness too. Mick is my hero! Lucy is engaged to a very eligible young man, old-money-rich, aristocratic family, but she just doesn’t feel it or comfortable in his world. On a girls’ getaway Lucy and her “friends” have a bad accident in a snow storm, which threatens their lives. Lucy gets out of the car in search of help. What she finds is Mick, a recluse and unbeknownst to her, a sex addict but he becomes her savior and so much more in this winter storm. O.M.G. LOVED this book. I like a mountain man scenario anyway, but this one was different enough to be very engaging. Well-written with the right amount of heat and intrigue to keep this reader happy, wink. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and it comes highly recommended.
A very entertaining novel. The main female character had a core strength that gradually came into its own. She stood up for herself and her values. The main male character started out as a rather dysfunctional fellow due to an addiction. After meeting the main female character and over time, he was able to gain control of himself so that his addiction subsided. These two had an unusual beginning and courtship. However, the link was there between the two of them and did did end up creating a future for themselves. The story had elements of drama, adventure, mystery and a lovely romance.
This reader learned elements of survival in extreme winter conditions.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.
What a very well written book. It captures your attention and keeps it. I would grab your favorite drink and curl up and read this one. She gets engaged to her rich boyfriend who has problems with attitude and a multitude of other things. She goes up with some girls into the mountains to have a bachelorette stay over of sorts. One of the girls drives too fast and they wreck. In the meantime a man living on the mountain goes to look for them. He lives up there because he considers himself a sex addict. And he grows to like it up there a lot and decides to stay and just fly to his companies when needed. She is a virgin and can't decide whether to stay engaged or go for it with him. He is such a good person. I highly recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.
A virgin and a sex addict trapped in a cabin during a major blizzard. Do you think you know where this is going?
This is a romance book, so you probably do get the ending, but the path it takes to get there is decidedly different and quite enjoyable. Our heroine is engaged, but she sort of fell into it. Our hero is hiding in the cabin to fight his addiction to sex. He sees every woman as a sexual object and doesn't believe in relationships. So this is a story about first loves for both characters.
The story is very well written and incredibly engaging. I had a tough time putting it down. I just wanted to read one more chapter see what comes next. There is not a lot sex for a romance book of this length, but what is there is nice and steamy. And the reader definitely gets a nice HEA.
Highly recommended.
I received a free copy of this book for review purposes.
Lucy is stranded on a mountain side in blizzard after an accident and rescued by Mick Brady. Lucy is persuaded to go on a girls weekend with her fiancee's friends girlfriends but their car goes over the edge and down the ravine. When she comes to ones is groaning in pain and the other two are unconscious so she goes to find help. Mick Brady has been living on the mountain like a hermit but keeps a helicopter for trips back to keep up with his business. When he gets a call that there is a woman missing near his cabin he sets out with his dog to find her. When he finds her all he can think of is saving her life. A mountain man romance to relax and enjoy. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book. I think all of us know a Lucy. She does not want to hurt anyone. So, when Lawrence asks her to marry him, in a restaurant, in front of many people, she can't say no. But, in her heart, she knows she should feel different. On a bachelorette trip, an accident happens, and Mick rescues her. Mick has an interesting problem, and has escaped to his mountain cabin to try to resolve it once and for all. Short trips back into civilization prove to him, he's not cured yet. Can Lucy help him heal, or, will she stick with Lawrence, because it is right to do that in "society's eyes?" Or will she finally follow her heart? I love AJ Wynter's books! Hard choice between this and A Biker's Virgin for top spot in her "virgin" books.
This is a mountain man/virgin story with a bit of a twist. Lucy is in college to become a biochemist. She is also on the track team and helping her sister through her chemotherapy and barely has anytime for her fiancé, Lawrence. Lawrence talks her into going to a spa weekend with some of his friends' girlfriends and he was even generous enough to pay for it. She ends up lost in the woods during a snowstorm and Mick rescues her. Grab this wonderfully written story and get ready for an intriguing read. There are things Lucy doesn't know about Lawrence and let's just say it's very interesting. Plus Lucy has never really felt a connection to Lawrence, not like the one she's feeling with Mick. Absolutely wonderful story and definitely a must read.
Well written captivating story with nice storyline and plot. Likeable characters with great chemistry and passion. I like the writing style of the author. It feels real and the reader is kept on the edge to know what happens next. The sparks between the main characters are well described and I connected with them. A story with humour, drama, mystery, secrets, lies, danger, alpha hero and twists. I liked this mix of all the emotions in this story. It felt rushed in the end but I will read it again. It is written in dual POV and that gives the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and the reader connects better with the characters because of that. I liked it had an epilogue to finish of the story. I has potential to be longer and get more depth that way.
Previous reviewers have covered the story in detail. What I can say is that it was most certainly a page turner. The narrative was detailed, the characters came to life & the hero & heroine were more than what they appeared to be at face value. They came to love deeply & quickly & she needed him to take her virginity in the aftermath of her escape from her rich fiance, a scumbag of note. Her hero rescued her twice, from certain death & then from her fiance & a fate probably worse than death. I was privileged to receive an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review. You too will just love this mountain man!
I loved this story from an author I've recently found,,,,
Story is about Lucy, a Junior in college goes off on a trip for a bridal shower being thrown in her honor with her good friends and end up having a car accident,,,,,, enters Mick,,,, a billionaire sort of recluse kinda guy who has kept himself at arms length with the rest of the world,,, he and his helicopter and his dog go out looking for Lucy,,,, and the escapade begins,,,,
I would totally advise anyone to find a new author and give them a try,,,, It totally worked for me,,,,I would so recommend this book to anyone,,,,
Every now and then a book hits all the right spots for a reader. This did for me. It started with the cover. I love that expression of love and comfort being offered from both sides. There is nothing sexier to me, and I suspect for a lot of people, than a man who is quietly at peace and totally committed to his significant other. I enjoyed that the H was flawed and worked his way clear of his failings, the biggest thing being recognizing them. The way the H and the h worked their way to each other is the story which was enjoyable to follow. There were a few mild sex scenes so for adults or maybe mature teens. I will read more of this author's work.
Lucy, a college junior, gets rescued by Mick, a billionaire hermit, when a trip to the spa for her bachelorette begins with a car accident. As the story progresses the reader learns more about the choices that have led them to be on their current track in life, that all is not as it seems and that love can help the wounds to heal. This was a nice and steamy afternoon read.
I received a free copy of the novel from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This was a fantastic book! It had so many sinister twists and turns that had me on pins and needles from the start! I absolutely loved Mick! He was a great character. He acknowledges all his faults and try to do something and when push comes to shove he actually acts like a proper gentleman with Lucy! I loved the entire story and the villains are proper villains that the reader can dislike with a vengeance! Very well written! I loved it all! I would highly recommend this book to others!
I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A beautiful and very touching story I was moved by this story. I don't know if it was Lucy and her sister or Mick and his demons - all I know that I was moved. I also know that if I was Lucy I would have used the small hatchet on Lawrence.....luckily he'said not in front of me! I loved, no I absolutely adored the Seattle Times Observer reports I wonder if Charlie will get her voice heard? All in all a sweet and moving love story that takes on some surprising turns. I voluntarily received a copy of this ARC for review
First things first, I need a Mick Brady in my life. For real... lol
Lucy was very fortunate that he saved her out there in the storm. I knew Lawrence the lecherous loser wasn't all that he cracked up to be. Lucy knew it too, she felt it and should have followed her gut. At least it was all's well that ends well. As you can tell, I enjoyed this book. I voluntarily read this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. I really enjoyed “The Mountain Man’s Virgin” by A. J. Wynter. It is a lovely, fun, well written, interesting story and it kept me glued from start to finish, I couldn’t put it down. I loved the chemistry between the great characters Mick & Lucy, and also the way they interacted with each other. They have a good story and I loved reading about them. This is an Enjoyable, Engaging, Must Read Romance I loved reading.
I loved this book from the start. This is my first time reading this author and I am a fan already of her writing. She makes you want to keep reading and root for the hero and heroine right away. The dual point of view is my favorite because I think it adds another level when you know how they both feel and this author describes their feelings so well that it takes the story up another notch. I definitely recommend this book! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I received a free copy of this book however all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. This book is soooooo good! The storyline of a sex addict holed up in a cabin with a virgin is certainly one I've not come across yet and it makes for a really great read. As per normal AJ Wynter, it is well written and grabs you from the start, then finally lets you go with the last word. And I'd just like to add, thank god Mick punched Lawrence, I think we'd all like to have done that by the end!
