WOW The beginning of Home was such an amazing story that had me from the first page and stayed with me till the very end .This would be the first book that I've read by Krista Sandor and of the Langley park series from my experience it can be read as a standalone with out any confusion but couples from the past two book do make some appearances . This is a second chance romance and my heart really broke for these two even though they were faced with such great pain I think they need that separat ...more

What a story of survival and rediscovering who you are....for Lindsey, ugh!, this poor woman!!! She had been through so much and needed to find out who she was.

Nick comes back into her life when she is at her lowest; he doesn’t “recognize” her, she’s not the same Lindsey he knew years ago.

Great second chance story of a woman lost and the man there beside her.

I don’t even know where to start, except to say that this book blew me the hell away. I don’t know how Krista does it, but she has me under her spell of heart-breaking characters who find love with all the odds and history stacked against them. I didn’t think Krista could top Em and Michael....WRONG. Topped!!!!

Lindsey Hanlon first met Nick Kincade at a summer camp in Langley Park. However, while Lindsey was smiling and happy, Nick was brooding and not in the mood to make friends, long lasting o

*** Received an ARC through Booksprout for an honest review.***

Nick and Lindsey officially met on camp, they were both camp Counselors at the age of 16. They shared a few special moments at the camp and for these few days together they grew very close (or so Lindsey thought). Then all those feelings went up in smoke when Nick was whisked away by his parents and would not see Lindsey again. She received a letter that broke her heart into pieces and was torn with the idea of not seeing him again.

“This is just the beginning....”

This book takes you on a journey. A journey of self discovery and healing. We are first introduced to Lindsey and Nick when they are 16 years old. They are both camp counselors for the summer. Lindsey is a jovial, sweet and compassionate girl while Nick on the other hand is silent, broody and he keeps to himself. Lindsey brings out the soft mushy side of him and they fall in love in a short period of time. They get separated and meet each other after 16 years. L

This series just keeps getting more amazing with each book. In this book we have Lindsay and Nick (I totally call dibs on Nick) they meet one summer as camp junior counselors and at first they keep away from each other but grow closer while away at sleepover camp. Some things happen that are out of both their control and they go separate ways not because they want to but they had to and they have their hearts broken. See they find that once in a lifetime love even though they are young it’s a tr ...more

The only word I can think of when trying to explain how I feel about The Beginning Of Home is simply everything. This book has everything. Epic romance. Emotion that pulls at your heart. Wonderful friendship. Suspense that has you gasping. And hope. Lots and lots of hope. This is my first read of Krista Sandor’s beautiful writing and it certainly is not going to be my last. She has a true talent in pulling you in with characters you can’t help but love and then she keeps you hooked with twists a ...more

This book is filled with suspense, intrigue and second chances. When they were teenagers, Nick and Lindsey met as camp counselors. Their time together provided special moments between them. When his parents came and took him away, he wrote her a letter that devastated her. It is sixteen years later and Lindsey is on the run from her abusive ex and harboring a secret that could be detrimental to her. She runs into Nick in her godmothers hometown. The meeting has reawakened feelings she thought we ...more

Nick is from her past, and together they are perfect. After reading book 2 of this series I knew I would want to read book 3. I just didn’t know my heart would be touched so much. Lindsey’s and Nick’s story is a beautiful story that gives hope to those who’s life has been hurt by domestic violence and abuse. Lindsey decided to fight for not only her life but her baby’s and for love. Nick showed that as a young man growing up in an abusive home that you can break the cycle and not be the abusive parent that raised you.

There love story was so sweet

My heart is bursting right now! Krista just gets better with each book! This tale is filled with tragedy, strength, hope, love and fight and that’s just Lindsey’s character! Nick is a wounded by life alpha male who needs to find his strength in himself and the belief that his childhood and younger life does not need to define who he is as a man!

Their story will bring you to tears and make you feel so deeply as their story could be anyone’s in the world! This book shows that sometimes despite wh

4.5 Second Chance Stars!

OH the FEELS I got from Langley Park in this installment. This story was delivered perfectly giving us a clear backstory that helps with understanding the present. I enjoyed that this was a new story-line yet Krista Sandor still gives the suspense I have enjoyed throughout her Langley Park series. Krista delivered broken yet beautiful characters in Lindsey and Nick that left me with a feeling of hope.

I just have to say that I love Miss G she truly makes this series for m

In the beginning I thought this would be your average YA romance book with the typical teenage drama, easy to read, not much of thoughts about the characters after I finished and useful for "in between".
Yeah, that's so not what was happening. This book hooked me in and I couldn't put it down. The character development was exceptional and I really enjoyed to see them all grown up, after they were prickly teens having just discovered their first true

OMG Krista Sandor is so amazing, and her Langley Park series is straight up AWESOME! This is only the second book that I've read by her, and I'm so addicted to her fantastic writing style, it's not even funny. Lindsey Hanlon used to be a girl who had hopes & dreams, who danced with abandon, but life took that out of her. Now she's back in the small town of Langley Park after finally running from an abusive relationship that almost killed her, to start over while under the radar. However, on ...more

I am so in love with this series. Not only are the stories sweet and lovely, Ms. Sandor is too. She is extremely friendly and makes time to speak to her readers. It’s easy to adore her. The Beginning of Home’ is the third book in the Langley Park series. Books one and two are equally amazing.
Here, we meet Lindsay and Nick. Now, Nick was introduced to us briefly in the first Langley Park book, The Road Home. I was beyond excited to learn he had his own book, because even though he was in the firs

This is by far my favorite book in the Langley Park series. All three books have shown strong women who rise above difficult situations, but there is just something about this book. Maybe it's because the book provided the back story in a way that demonstrates the build of their relationship more than the previous books. There is this lovely little world being built around this town of Langley Park. You see plenty of reoccurring characters, which as a reader really helps me get invested in a ser ...more

I loved this book. I think it's even better than the previous two and I loved those. I don't hand out 5-star reviews often, but I've given them to this whole series. The Beginning of Home is a standalone, but I do think it helps having read the others as it gives you some background info to go into the book with, but it's not essential. The writing is superb, the story grabs you and grips you and has enough highs and lows to keep a feeling of impending dread simmering all the way through. And of ...more

this is a new to me author, and I am so very glad I stumbled across this book. not realising it was the third book of the series - it totally didn't matter, it definitely can be read as a standalone.
This book tells the story of the power of your first love, and how strong it stays with you throughout your life.
Lindsay and Nick met as 16 year olds - then again 16 years later, back in a town neither of them thought they would ever end up.
Lindsay is escaping a horrid life, whilst Nick is constantl

The Beginning of Home is a second chance romance, that gives a story of two souls that were affected so much by past relationships (family and dating).

Lindsey and Nick in their journey gives you a heartbreaking story, and the importance of having a support system around you! Their story was sweet, sad because of all the misunderstandings and exciting during rediscovering of their true selves and what it’s meant to be happy!!!

This book covers issues of abuse and struggle of family dynamics that

I loved the style from the very beginning, t is beautiful and makes understand and visualize what the author was talking about.
The two main characters are quite good together and that is fantastic for the story.
The hope makes you cry and smile and cry again. The true telling of the story makes you experience it really in depth. And believe in the second chance too!
