Lively rhyming picture book about a mouse preparing for Passover Seder. Masterful rhyme and meter make this a rollicking story, great for a read-aloud. Repetition used effectively. A solid story arc creates an interesting, non-didactic way for children to learn about this Jewish holiday. Includes visual back matter with the foods labelled on the Seder plate.

As the title suggests, this book is about celebrating Passover. A cute little mouse (Pippa) confronts some of her worst fears to find her special Seder plate for the celebration.
Recommend for kids who like mice, owls, cats, snakes & goldfish. It’s good for families who celebrate Passover and also for families who don’t celebrate it, but who wish to introduce their kids to a variety of celebrations that are outside of their culture/religion.
