Not enough room here. Suffice to say, besides being a writer for many years - Stringer for several newspapers, my own bi-line for articles in SAG and AFTRA mags., short story writer, screenwriter, and now two books, I'm also a blue water sailor, been a carnival barker, wrestled an ape on exhibition, rode the rails as a hobo for the experience, rodeo clown, storyteller, stand-up comic, MC, electrician, power lineman, owned several companies, circus clown, over 20 years as a prof. actor; Stage, Film and Television, along with some other stuff I can't think of right now. As my good friend, Jimmy Stewart once said, It really is a Wonderful Life.

Unjust Punishment (Clay Brentwood Book 2)

Just as good as the first book, Stranger on a Black Stallion. A good old western tale written in the fashion I love, leaving me feeling as though I'm riding side by side with our hero, Clay Brentwood. I really like Clay, Jared McVay gave him a wonderful personality and you can't help but root for him, as you wonder how he's getting out of this situation he unknowingly put himself in. Although he's been ready to find his way back to Texas and his ranch to settle down, fate has something else in store for him for the next two years. So I'm off to purchase the 3rd book in this fun additive series. No sexual content. JudyE

Unjust Punishment is about Clay Brentwood's continuing pursuit to return to his life as a rancher in Texas. However, it seems as though he can never catch a break as the twist of fate always seems to get in the way. Jared's style of writing keeps you cheering for the good guys and booing for the bad guys. He writes a story that has something for everyone; suspense, action, drama, humor and you can find a little romance in there too. Thanks, Jared, for another great book and I am hoping there will be a volume 3.

Left me with a big smile

Nothing seems too farfetched or illogical. One need not suspend disbelief to any extent to really get into Mr. McVay's tales. I'm off to get the next one.
