I read an ARC copy of this.

This was a nice Christmas story. Willa had gone through some things. Thankfully she had a brother to help her. It was nice that her and Jack were able to get that second chance. They both deserved to have

My English review

The author presents this story as novella, but I think it’s a rather short story for me, because it’s still 141 pages long. It allows to have a short romance, but especially a complete one!

Willa had left everything to become an actress. It was her dream, but it’s been four years since she left and a picture put her on the front of the stage. She goes from the nanny in the shade to the nanny who broke the marriage of a famous couple. Even worse, she did nothi

Christina George

Fun, sweet, flirty, gritty… All are perfect words for this 2nd chance love story. It’s been a while since I’ve had the joy of reading a Christina George Story, it worth the wait.

Naught Nanny, Bad Nanny, Willa O’Rourke had the perfect life as a Nanny to a famous family, in LA until her world crumbled when her jerk boss has her caught in a compromising position in front of the paparazzi. Running away is her only option and returning home to Harper’s Corner

project -- making her wonder if she’s meant for a simpler life in Harper’s Corner after all.

My Thoughts…

Harper Corner’s is a place where everyone knows everyone, they know your business, they gossip freely and protect their own easily. Willa returns with her world shattered, heart dreams lost, and her ex-boyfriend still causing butterflies in her stomach.

I love that Christina George wrote a book that is so current. In a world of #MeToo and Twitter Christina George makes A Nanny for Christmas

This book reads like a Hallmark movie. This is a good thing. I think all us women can admit that we have seen one or even a dozen Hallmark movies. There is guaranteed to be a happy ending but at the same time, these movies give you a feel good feeling. That is what I got from reading this book.

Willa and Jack were great together. I felt the chemistry. While, they did share history together and it would have been very easy to jump right back into a relationship; I like that it took a few encounte

In the court of public opinion, Willa has found herself in some serious hot water. In a world where image is everything, this small town girl has landed herself in the middle of a firestorm. All for trying to do the right thing. What do you do when the glamorous becomes too hot to handle? Reexamine the life you left behind. A Nanny for Christmas takes a look at the grass is greener theory. Life is tricky. Sometimes the dreams we thought we wanted are not the ones we need and happily ever after h ...more

This super sexy and sweet story is just what you need to keep you warm in the winter. It's not overly Christmas but set during that time frame.

I received an ARC of this book through Hidden Gems and am writing this review because I wanted to. :-)

This book reminded me, and in a very good way, of a super steamy Harlequin romance, back when each and every one of them would put a lump in your throat when the Hero and Heroine had their Happily Ever After. Of course, we all know those books weren't at all steamy, but hinted at the promise of steam, that's what made them so good. And what made this book good was that the author managed to grab

Willa went from nanny to an A-list couple to #dirtynanny in a blink of an eye. So now she's running back home with her tail between her legs. Back home to her big brother. Back home where she left her first and only love, Jack. Jack who must hate her since she left 4 years ago and never bothered to keep in touch.

When Willa arrives, she's pretty sure Jack will never speak to her again. She doesn't dare believe there's hope they'll be friends again, or more. But, fate has something else in store,

This a nice, light, easy read. My rating 4.25.

Willa left behind her high school and college boyfriend to follow her dream of becoming an actress. She ended up working as a nanny for a celebrity couple, having to fend off advances by her sexy boss. After being caught in a picture that looks bad, she has returned home in disgrace with the scandal of the #dirtynanny.

Willa can barely hold her head up but fortunately her brother and friends are willing to welcome her home. She doesn’t expect any warm

I love a small town holiday novella in the summer! It puts me in a cheery mood, especially when it is too hot and humid to enjoy the sunshine. A Nanny For Christmas is a fast-paced read and the main characters are genuine, warm and sexy. This book is from Christina George's series A Harper's Corner, and it can be read as a standalone.

Four years ago, Willa O’Rourke left her home and boyfriend of many years for a career in Hollywood. It was always her dream to be an actress and after graduating f

A new author for me, A Nanny for Christmas is a novella in the Harper’s Corner series.
Willa O’Rourke always wanted to be a famous actress, but when finds herself on the cover of every magazine in the country labeled as a home-wrecking nanny, she finds herself fleeing LA and going home to Harper’s Corner. Coming home just in time for Christmas, Willa plans to stay hidden in her brother’s apartment above his pub, and take a break before heading back to try again, but things don’t work out that way

This author was new to me, so when given the opportunity, I decided to give her a try. So very happy I did.
The story centers around Willa and Jack. They were sweethearts until she left him behind to pursue her dream of becoming an actress in Hollywood. Four years later, she is a nanny for a celebrity couple until lies are published about her, that end up destroying any chances of realizing her dream. She returns to Harper’s Corner and comes face to face with Jack.

Right from the beginning this book had me hooked.

Willa, struggling actress and Nanny, has to flee her home because of a scandal involving her boss the huge actor, Johnny Blaze.

Her brother, Brady, gives her to come back home, he has a place for her to stay and a job offer. Of course, Willa accepts but for her, the hometown homecoming is mixed with happiness and sadness. Last time she left, she left her friends, family and love all behi

This was a quick, fun and cute second chance romance.. the writing was good. It had a good story line that was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters are very intriguing they were a bit vulnerable, they definitely had chemistry but there are some old scars that need healing. I enjoyed this one. I love Christmas so I always look forward to the Christmas stories. This book is a second chance romance. What could be more magical then a shot at a second chance during the holidays. Willa's life is completely turned upside down and she feels like enemy #1 in Hollywood. He brother convinces her to come home to spend the holidays. She comes face to face with the man she left behind. I liked Will and Jack. You can feel how much they still love on anther, but it's goi

I really enjoyed this sweet but at times sad Christmas story. Sadly in today's world our mistakes and poor judgements can be broadcasted around the world. It's these times when we really find out who are our true finds and loved ones.

Harper's Corner, New York State sounds a lovely place to return to for love and support. I liked that we saw Willa recover and grow, and that she was surrounded by good people who helped her to do this.

I loved Jack, he was so lovely that I just wanted to hug (and ki
Sweet chance at a second time around.
High school sweethearts Jack & Willa are torn apart when Willa knew she had to leave her small town to follow her dream of Hollywood stardom. Now, after a paparazzi scandal, Willa is back home to regroup and she has rough choices to make about her future that involve staying home, going back to California, going anywhere else, and of course getting involved again with her ex-love-of-her-life (who is a hot fireman, by the way!) Jack.

Willa left Harper's Corner for Hollywood with intentions of making it big. When a big scandal forces her to flee, she returns home to hide but not stay. Willa broke Jack's heart when she left home the first time so he has no intention of giving her the chance to do it again. Of course Fate has other plans. Is there a chance for a HEA or will Willa leave again? This was a nice read with some wonderful characters.

The blub sounded irresistibly cute, and really, that’s what the story was: the book equivalent of kitten videos. I completely lost track of the number of times I went “awe” while witnessing Jack and Willa get their second chance. Mind you, there was an almost equal number of times where I was left blinking my eyes too hard to keep from being overwhelmed by the pain these two manage to inflict on each other. It’s a short read, but it’s also a complex, twisty emotional roller-coaster ride of a sto ...more

Willa finds herself back in her home town after having her picture plastered all over magazines across the country thanks to her employer. Going home means facing her family and friends she left behind and her ex-boyfriend. This is a story about second chance love and redemption and realizing that sometimes your dreams are right in front of you with those who are willing to fight and stand by your side.

Bad things sometimes have stupendous results!!!
A wonderful story about a nanny in LA, who has been assaulted by her boss. She consequently left and went back to her home in Harper’s Cove. Her strength is admirable, and her ex-boyfriend, Jack, is a terrific support for her. The characters, the story, and the writing are terrific with all of the twists and turns,
