If I had to pick a bride of convenience, my first choice would NOT be Peach Maloney.

My fiftieth choice would NOT be Peach.

Top spot on my list of occupational hazards? Yes.

Royal pain in the crumpets? Yes.

A bride of convenience? No.

But I’ve unexpectedly gone from royal bodyguard to monarch, having inherited a crown that was stolen from my family long before my birth. The ki

Hot Heir is a sweet, sexy hilarious stand alone by Pippa Grant. The characters are recurring from her other books but whether or not you have read any of them will not take away from your enjoyment of this book!

Viktor has been the lead bodyguard to His Highness, Prince Manning Frey, third son of the King of Stolland, for twelve years. It’s during the last year that he has gotten to know Miss Peach Maloney, best friend to Gracie, Manning’s wife. Very unexpectedly, Viktor is inform

I remember when I first read Miss Grant book, Hosed. It cracked me up. I picked up Hot Heir expecting the same hilarious funny romance book.
And I am very much disappointed. I really am. I am not sure what is wrong with this book. The story is dragging. The character does not develop very good. The chemistry is off. Not off the chart burning hot, but off cold and stiff.

I think what most does not work for me is the story pace. It is way too long. it feels dragging. I even fall asleep somewhere i

We're getting enough characters in these interconnected stand alones that we may need a flow chart, but I’ll try to keep it simple. This book is Peach and Viktor's story and includes Peach's sister, Papaya, and their Meemaw. Peach is best friends and business partners with Joey (Joey and Zeus from The Pilot and the Puck-Up) and Viktor is head bodyguard for royal hockey player Manning (Gracie and Manning from Royally Pucked). To obtain legal custody of her sister, the Alabama judge orders Peach t ...more

Pippa Grant definitely has a unique set of characters. There was crossovers from other books, which I've only read two of, and one really has to kind of go with the flow because there is one quirky thing after another. Hot air ballon rides that go awry, alpacas treated as a pet, polecats and nearly everything shaped like a heart. As for the main characters, Peach was as southern gal as one can get and Viktor was way too formal with his prim and proper way of talki

Cute stand alone book in the world of Pippa Grant. While I've only read one other novel by Ms. Grant and therefore wasn't aware of most of the crossover characters, I could easily pick up the thread. It took me a little while to connect with these characters being that they are extremely quirky but they grew on me throughout the story. Folks already emotionally connected to the crossover characters would probably not experience that issue.

In Hot Heir, Viktor, personal bodyguard to His Ro

I’ve been reading Pippa’s books since her first release of Mr. McHottie. I’m always, always entertained by her hilarious sense of humor that she does such a great job of translating into her writing. Don’t get me wrong, these books are so much more than just funny, they have heart and are sprinkled with unicorn rainbows and happily ever afters. Hot Heir is another great story with all the funny plus lots of heart. Viktor and Peach, Papaya and Fred the Alpaca are along too. In todays world, Hot H ...more

Hot Heir was another hilariously written novel by Pippa Grant full of crazy antics, off the wall chemistry that resulted in some pretty good ahem relations, and of course love. Love is a huge theme in this particular story as Viktor, one of the royal bodyguards of Prince Manning, has suddenly become King to the country of Amoria, the kingdom his grandfather was overthrown from and the original country of love. In order to inherit the kingdom Viktor needs to be married and in love with his bride. ...more

Hot Heir is a lighthearted romance with some hilarious moments and a tiny bit of angst thrown in for fun! Pippa Grant was a little over the top in this book but that made for a fun end of summer read!

The main characters, and even the secondary characters, kept me entertained throughout the book which was a marriage of convenience story. While the story was a little more silly side, I did feel that the actual story of Viktor and Peach could have shown through a tad bit more.

All in all, it was a

This book was full of sweet, warm romance with lots of angst and hilarity thrown in. The writing of. Pippa Grant is full of depth and imagination of this slightly over the top romp that made me constantly smile and giggle.

The main characters were written extremely well with secondary ones adding enormously to this story. Each had a tale to tell which kept me entertained throughout the book; it was a fun, sexy, angsty read that I thoroughly enjoyed with great character development and an unusual

I voluntarily reviewed an early copy of this book :) this was the second book I've read by this lovely author and once again I had the best time doing it :) she has the most unique and ridiculously hilarious writing style... I can't compare her to anyone else... :) this was technically a standalone, and it will work perfectly well if it'll be your very first book ever by her, but there are appearances of couples from her other stories and all sorts of connections between certain characters... :) ...more

With every Pippa Grant book I read, I find I love her stories more and more. I find Pippa and the characters she writes to be quirky and lovable. You never know what direction her books will take, but in the end, you can’t help falling in love with the stories or characters. I love her unique choices in character names. It’s not everyday you read about a Peach, Viktor, and Papaya!

Hot Heir is the story about Peach, Papaya (Peach’s sister) and Viktor. Peach and Viktor have an irritate each other to hate relationship. It was so fun to read about their antics with each other. It reminded me of a twelve-year-old boy who pulls the pigtails on the girl that he likes. Such a comedic romance book.

Viktor is currently the head bodyguard for Manning (the royal hockey player from Royally Pucked). Peach has a best friend, Joey, that she co-owns, Weightless, a flight adventure company

My first read by Pippa Grant! I do admit it took me close to 20% of the book to get into the groove and the writing style (which is great because hers sure is unique!) and once I did, I couldn't pull myself away! I will definitely remember this book for a while :) Had some funny, ridiculous, hot scenes and they all were memorable in their own way!

Well Pippa strikes again with Hot Heir.
I have received an ARC copy from the author for the honest review. So honestly if you want a laugh out romantic contract marriage love story, this is it. There are few common elements in Pippa's book.
-Berger twins and their antics ( my favorite )
-Characters from previous books which i also love though you can read this as stand alone also. But trust me you will be tempted to know more about them.
-Badass female protagonist
-Swoon worthy male protagonist

Hot Heir is the seventh book in an interconnected series by Pippa Grant. It features Peach, the other half of Weightless and Viktor, Manning Frey’s head of security whom we’ve met in earlier books, as well as Peach’s sister Papaya and Meemaw, their grandmother. Both have almost as much of a story as our stoic couple.
Peach and Viktor have little liking for each other, or so it seemed, but after one hot air balloon and police car chase escapade, they are forced to become rather more acquainted wit

Yeah, I’ve been binging HARD on these books. Pippa is like, my new addiction. Pippa, if you’re reading this, WRITE FASTER, I’m running out of stories!

K, so there’s all this hilarity with the hot air balloons. Which, for me, don’t get old. There’s a ton of other stuff for comedic value, but that this couple was straight up jinxed and it was hilarious!

And then there’s the back and forth between super proper Viktor and feisty, fierce AF southern Peach (yeah, I never stopped laughing at the names)

I love a good RomCom and Hot Heir did not disappoint. Peaches and Viktor are such a odd match that you can't help but root for them . Viktor has certainly had his share of bad assignments being in the Kings guard but really the sweltering Alabama summer with a sassy smart mouthed woman and her unruly sister. He is entailed to watch the friend of the King's bride but this soon turns into a bit more. Viktor soon realizes that he may regain his own kingdom. He needs a bride. Peaches needs to gain c ...more

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author...I couldn't wait to get Peach's story, since we met her in the pilot and the puck-up I was excited to get her story. We always knew she was loyal and kick ass. Viktor was so perfect for her, he loved messing with her and getting her pissed it was his foreplay, and Pippa's saying when he was aroused were so funny and she had so many I just cracked up. Viktor is Delicious

Viktor and Peach have had a, well, tempestuous acquaintance since the beginning. They seem to share nothing except the inability to be civil to the other. So, of course they each need to get married to solve a major crisis.

Viktor is . . . well, he's a yummy surprise. Definitely the Grant hero I'd choose for myself.

Also included: a randy grandmother, hot air balloon antics, alpaca shenanigans, and shower smashing.

Pippa Grant books make me happy. They are always an entertaining and humorous read. This book is no different. It is a perfect frenemies to lovers story. The characters are sassy and fun, and as per usual in a Pippa Grant book, hijinks and hilarity ensues. I absolutely loved Victor and Peach's journey towards each other. This book is another winner.

I love Pippa Grant and the voices she gives to her characters. Plus I love her bonkers stories. Hot Heir is probably my favourite of her books so far, there was something honestly likeable about Peach and I love Papaya, Peach's wayward sister. Viktor isn't your stereotype alpha and I enjoyed how he had the emotional intelligence to rein himself in. And the alpacas. They need a mention. Again, loads of laughs and a few emotional moments too. I could read a sequel to this.
