An evocative, strongly structured, and overall gorgeous book of poetry. Christoph Paul's collection presents many intriguing verses that depict life, love, art, sex and more in a captivating way that is hard to put down. His rhythm makes it easy to get lost in these poems, and the genuineness laced inside each piece truly resonates with the human soul. Disclaimer: I have been published by the author. But I truly loved this poetry collection. It has no hook, it has no particular pop culture orientation, it just has intimacy and emotion. The poems are full of longing, social commentary, awkward and painful interactions, missed connections and emotional traumas as well as mundane but uplifting moments.
