Wow, wow, wow. That’s how I describe this book. It was a wonderful read and I loved every page. I was so sorry when I got to the last page especially as it finished on a cliff hanger, so, I sincerely hope there is more to come.

A lovely story, I became quickly engrossed in this lengthy novel. Not sure what to expect, I rapidly warmed to all of the characters and found myself loving many and hating some of the cast.

This was an unexpected read but the blurb provides so much detail on the plot that I knew it would appeal. Aoife is a genuinely lovely person although her naivety towards boyfriend Danny and local pub owner did make me feel rather frustrated. The writer makes it clear quite early on that Danny and Aoife are

All that compels the heart is an adult romance about Aoife O’Reilly. This fictional story begins with Aoife having everything she has ever wanted. She has a great job, a decent boyfriend, best friends, and an admirable social life. As not all good things last, a tragedy has her lose all of that, and with that, the story begins to take an interesting turn.

Aoife buys a Manor begins to renovate it in a new town. She begins to make friends by meeting a contractor and a pub owner who change the way

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the Author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Can Aoife figure out what she wants?
All That Compels The Heart by Erin Bowlen is another soap opera book about a poor, wealthy girl who no one understands. Ms. Bowlen has a way to transport you to Ireland with her descriptions, but that wasn't enough. If some things could have gone differently, I think for it to be a bit better. Aoife O'Reilly and Michael

4.5 round to 5

All that Compels the Heart by Erin Bowlen is a heartfelt and profoundly moving novel about family, friendship, love, taking chances and chasing your dreams. It’s beautifully written, engrossing, and emotional. It was such a delightful read and I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent with Aoife.

This story is simply lovely! Even though it is quite lengthy with some slow moving parts and a few moments that I thought seemed a bit drawn-out, the overall storyline without a doubt touched

All That Compels the Heart is a sweeping examination of life after tragedy and the metamorphosis we experience on our journey to a heightened life.

All That Compels the Heart is one of those rare novels that has perfect timing. Upon reading the novel, I found myself in a place similar to that of Aoife (the book’s heroine). Her story has helped me through a difficult time in my life, and for that, I want to thank Erin Bowlen for introducing her novel to me. While the novel

Loved the characters and the setting on this one. Aoife and Michael are a compelling couple and the "will they, won't they" dynamic is well written. In addition, the idyllic village setting in the Irish countryside is a wonderful place to spend time in your imagination. For my taste, the book could have been edited down quite a bit and had just as much if not more impact, but fans of romance and family drama will find a lot to enjoy here.

Firstly, can I just say that this story was lovely. It had almost everything I would ever want in a romance. There was enemies to lovers, it was a slow burn romance, it had beautiful scenery, compelling characters, drama, and great friendships. But there were two things that brought down my rating of this book: the editing was not great, and the ending was so abrupt.

But let’s talk about the amazing first! (I’m not going to touch on plot because the blurb is basically everything that happens…)
