This had some really good parts, but the whole ‘helping a person to get over rape with BDSM’ didn’t sit well with me.

I think I’m a bit over BDSM these days. I love a good D/s dynamic, because it often involves some form of hurt/comfort. But somehow in this I didn’t like it.

Henry just ended a 6 month contract with his submissive Sean because he wanted more out of the relationship. And while Sean was a very good submissive, Henry wasn’t in love with him.

Henry and Ryan

Henry a Dom pur sang is looking for more... no-more three months contracts with subs... but more.
When he meets Ryan he knows he’s a sub only the signals he spread says something else.

Ryan wants to dominate Henry... he fails... and has to admit it.

There is a whole story behind Ryan’s behavior and bit by bit Henry can pulls him out of his head. Henry is the perfect Dom and Ryan wants to be healed by him... Easier said than done.

What made this story wonderful was Henry. He was the perfect guy to help Ryan. He was kind, patient, strong, honest and supportive while being understanding and loving. He let Ryan know when he was hurt or upset and when things weren’t acceptable but he didn’t cause Ryan harm. He was a genuinely good guy. He was also smitten with Ryan from the moment he walked in the room and saw Ryan. Ryan intrigued him.

Ryan was drawn to Henry as well but was afraid. He had such a traumatizing last relationship

A Joyfully Jay review.

2.75 stars

Henry is a Dom, a man who enjoys controlling his partner in a sexual fashion. This part of his life is something he’s kept a secret from his family. He’s also prone to emotional manipulation and he seems indifferent to other’s feelings. When Henry first sets eyes on Ryan, Henry thinks he’s beautiful and instantly wants to fuck him. When Henry learns that Ryan isn’t interested in a relationship due to recently getting out of a “bad thing,” Henry seems willing enou

Wow, an amazing story about healing, finding love and taking your life back!

This is the first book of Laura’s I have read, such a talented writer! I love the Australian (Perth) setting and these Bromley Brothers are a great trio. I look forward to reading the other stories.

This book wasn’t what I expected. The BDSM elements were light and enjoyable without being too extreme. I enjoyed the power play, intrigue, and adaptability of these characters. This showed the

The book blurb gives enough away as to who this book is about, and the concept. It is easily read as a Standalone, but as I've read the first book (Trusting Him) it made following the story just as easy, with a slight crossover on the end of that-and the start of this story.
Henry Bromley has kept his 'Dom' side hidden from his brothers (Trey and Travis) having had a successful contract with his submissive-Sean (but something is missing-he's seen how happy Trey is and questions what he actually wants

Healing Him is the second book in the Bromley Brothers series, and I was thoroughly looking forward to delving into their world once more, and I have to say I was not disappointed!

This time we concentrate on Henry. He is a Dom who has just agreed with his submissive they will not make a new contract. After seeing how happy his younger brother, Trey, is, Henry knows he wants more. What he wasn't expecting was the lightening bolt he got the first time he met Ryan. Ryan has issues, and with good re

I need to go back and read the first book in the series, but even though I haven't read it I didn't feel lost so I feel that this can be read as a standalone. Ryan broke my heart with what his ex did to him. He has a lot of physical and mental scars. He is also a sexual submissive. Henry is a Dom who has just gotten out of a relationship with his sub, Sean, because he wants more out of relationship, he is looking for love. Sean was a sweetheart & they did end on a good note. Floored. That's what I am right now. Book hangover is coming.

I loved everything about this. Everything. This is one I'll be reading again for sure.

Henry is a Dom. He's just finished a contract with his sub and he's ready to find love. When he sees a man who's everything he's never wanted, he's surprised at the intensity of the attraction. What's even more surprising is that Ryan seems like he's conflicted about what he wants. He's promised himself he'll never be a sub again, but there's a desper

Healing Him, a fun BDSM romance, is the second in the Bromley Brothers series by Laura N Andrews.

Ryan and Henry make for an entertaining couple. Henry's a Dom who takes an instant liking to Ryan. It's sad from the start that Ryan's nervous and can't trust, after obviously being hurt in the past.

When they do start spending time together, things heat up fast. They have such a strong connection that Henry has to have Ryan even if he's not allowed to dominate. I love that Henry enjoys having Ryan on

This is a new to me author. I have a growing interest in BDSM and I thought this was a good read because there seems to be an emphasis on the role of the dominant in caring for the submissive. Some of the other BDSM books I have read seem to focus more on the bondage and sadism without the aftercare elements. The focus on aftercare and on the role of the dominant in more than just the sexual aspect gives me so much respect for the differing roles in D/s relationship. I applaud Laura Andrews for ...more
This is the second in the Bromley brothers series, I thoroughly enjoyed book 1 and book 2 was just as good. While I am not a huge fan of Dominant/submissive stories, Laura has done a great job of bringing some more understanding to the way the D/s relationship works. I really enjoyed meeting Henry again and getting to read his story and following his relationship with Ryan. Ryan has some major trust issues due to a previous relationship and the way those issues are dealt with was great, it defin ...more

This is a well-written tale of brothers and their friends set in Australia. I love the characters and I want to read book 1 now to see how David and Trey got together. With Henry and Travis looking for a location for their gym, an interesting new character is introduced in Dakota who pings Travis' interest. I look forward to reading their story sometime in the future.

I have to say that I absolutely loved this story and I need to read book one because there were cameos from the first book and I want to find out what happened with some of the characters previous.

Henry is a Dom that sees his brothers having these great relationships and he starts to wonder if he is missing something. He has a sub named Sean and they have a great relationship but Henry is starting to want more. He is looking for love and his BDSM lifestyle to be one in the same. Then he meets Ry

This was such a beautifully sexy book. Henry and Ryan have a connection and hit it off instantly. Henry is a fantastic Dom. He cares for his sub, keeps communication open and realizes when he needs to let them go. He treats them with respect and pushes them only so far. When he sees Ryan, he knows he has to have him. He can also see that he's been hurt. He doesn't push anything with him until he knows he's ready. He is sweet yet sexy in this book. He pushes Ryan but in a good way. He knows in or ...more

This is such a sweet slow burn with many spikes of heat I love how attentive and loving Henry is with Ryan. He takes things slow and at a rate that is comfortable for Ryan to handle. As the dom in their relationship he takes what he is given and even if it means not getting everything that he wants, he will do whatever makes his sub happy and comfortable. I love how sweet and adorable Ryan is, he is this big teddy bear of a guy and he is beautiful in his submission and letting the hurts he has s ...more

Henry is a Dom with a heart. Every single one of interactions prove this. He is a rare gem. When he meets Ryan he instantly knows he wants to explore more with him in a relationship and as a Dom/Sub. However, Ryan is jumpy and has a vulnerability that seeps off of him. Henry recognises this instantly and is very careful in the way he treats him. There is every reason why Ryan is this way but with the right man and the right sort of love, Ryan awakens and starts to find his way and hi

I'm giving this a 3.5.

Overall, I liked the story. I love the idea of love helping to heal someone, and for a loving D/s relationship to help someone who was hurt in one. And I love that Henry was able to do that for Ryan. However, I felt like they may have moved a little fast and not necessarily have dealt with all the trauma that can be around an abusive relationship. Of course, that could just be that dealing all of that would mean that the book would be longer than it might have otherwise be

Healing Him by Laura N. Andrews is the second book in The Bromley Brothers series. Henry and Ryan have a great connection. There is a major hurt in Ryan's past but hes able to overcome and regain his strength when he let's himself trust in Henry and himself. Henry is a Dom in search of a sub to love. Ryan is a sub, unsure if he can ever trust a Dom again. This is the story of how they became perfect for each other.

This is a nice book. I’ve read a lot of BDSM books and this is a good one. Mostly about control and pleasure with a little punishment thrown in. I think this one would be a good one to read if you wanted to read a book that isn’t really heavy into the lifestyle but introduces certain aspects of it. Ryan’s past isn’t pretty so be prepared f

I enjoyed the first book in this series and I love this one as much of not more. Henry is so patient with Ryan and helps him every way that he knows how. Ryan blossoms under Henry's care and positive attention.

I love the time and attention that you can tell was put into this story. The characters are interesting and engaging. You want them to embrace each other and to enjoy life with each other. I like how everything isn't perfect, but they work on it and themselves. They learn to trust

A wonderful continuation in this enjoyable series. Two strong individuals with a great story of recovery, growth, love and acceptance of your self. Henry is a perfect fit for Ryan right from the get go and vice versa. Their relationship naturally blooms with the push and pull that comes with meeting new people but even more so with Ryan's personal history. It's well written by Laura and the emotion comes across really well, getting you fully invested in the outcome of the story.

This is my first story from this author and I really loved it! The intense chemistry between Ryan and Henry made my Kindle heat up, but it was their backstories that made the relationship so dynamic. My heart broke for Ryan and the abuse he endured at the hands of his previous Dom and Henry, who just wants to find a pup to love. The author was true to the D/s dynamics and the BDSM scene. I loved this book
In this book, we have Henry who is a Dom in search of a sub to love for more than just a month or two.
Ryan is a sub who is unsure if he can ever trust a Dom again. Ryan's past is awful and it will rip your heart open. ( so tissues)
This was a light BDSM book mostly about control and pleasure with a tiny bit of punishment thrown in.
I found this to be a wonderful book that kept me going until there were no more pages to turn. Can't wait to see what's next.
