My first read by Regina Kyle is one I can class an absolute winner and A Nanny for the Reclusive Billionaire was the perfect introduction to her writing.

description Rhys was Captain von Trapp. Cold. Impersonal. Emotionally unavailable. And she was his Fräulein Maria, the sweet, innocent maiden sent to help heal his wounds and make his family whole again.”

This story literally had it all, the sexy brooding and struggling single Dad, his cute-as-a-button little boy and the spitfire nanny who arrives and, a

5 - He shouldn't want her... It was wrong on every level. Stars!

I love a good romance with a little of the forbidden added to the mix. Although I think the best thing about the Nanny/Single parent trope a lot of the time is the addition to kids into the mix of the story. And as much as I loved Rhys and Mallory’s story, the author absolutely nailed it Rhys’s son Oliver.

She wasn’t going to let herself become a walking cliché…

The other huge plus for me with A Nanny for the Reclusive Billion

First, let me say how happy I was to find out that Mallory was self-sufficient before she met her billionaire! Many times when I read billionaire romances, whether it be in well-written fanfictions or full length novels, the character that the billionaire falls is not really self-sufficient. Even if they claim that they were fine before the billionaire came into their lives, they were really living in a barely decorated apartment, barely eating, and sometimes even being emotionally hurt by every ...more

This is a fun, contemporary romance featuring Mallory Worthington who is endeavouring to escape from the restrictions imposed on her by her over protective and manipulative mother and Rhys Dalton trying to protect himself and his young son by living on a relatively isolated island. She is an heiress who had cancer as a child but is now grown up and has rebelled by leaving her job as a chef in the family’s flagship hotel to go to work as a personal chef and nanny on an island in the Florida Keys. ...more

Mallory may have survived a bout with cancer as a child, but it still haunts her because no can forget it, which means they still her as the sick little girl, unable to do things on her own...fragile. She's a chef, and darn good at it, within her family's company, but she needs to escape that and start all over. What better place than an island working as a personal chef and nanny for a recluse? She may not know anything about being a nanny, but she was a kid once, so she can figure it out, righ ...more

I adored this delightful story right from the very first page. Mallory is a wonderful strong character and she's not about to let Rhys steamroll her. Getting fired within five minutes of meeting your new boss probably isn't the best way to start a new job but she's faced worse in her life and she won't let all his grumpiness stop her. After the death of his wife, Rhys secluded himself and his young son Oliver away from the world. The last thing he needs is for his son's new nanny to be as tempti ...more

This was a fun contemporary romance featuring the tried and true romantic trope of the employer falling for the nanny. However, I enjoyed the fact that Rhys didn't want to hire Mallory at all because she wasn't "old and gray like Mrs. Doubtfire." Having lost his wife, Rhys didn't want any temptation in his house so he fired her on first sight. Fortunately she was able to get a one week reprieve as they looked for a replacement. nanny. Sure the outcome was predictable but the story itself was enj ...more

A very nicely done category length romance. Heroine desperate to break free from her stifling past as a childhood cancer survivor takes a chef/nanny post on a small island in Key West. The hero tragically lost his wife and decides isolating himself and his child on a remote island is the only guarantee to keeping his son safe. A nice blend of angst and sentiment, with some lovely traces of humor tossed into the mix (the heroine's relationship with her sister is dynamite).

Rhys likes to be somewhat of a gentleman, “not here,” he growled, moving toward the one hall in the house she’d never gone down—the one that led to the master bedroom. “Our first time is not going to be on my godda*n living room couch.” Rhys is always thinking ahead, “then I thought we’d follow that up with a walk on the beach and a night in my bed.” I liked this book, I loved Rhys.

If a story can be both sweet and spicy, this would be a good example.

In a play on the classic Sound of Music, we have the sweet and adorable Mallory rolling up as the new nanny for the cold and reclusive widower who happens to be a Billionaire. As you do.

Like Maria, Mallory didn't intend to become a nanny. She was going to become a nun and dedicate her life to g*d. Oops, wrong heroine. Actually she is a brilliant chef and destined to be cloistered by her overprotective family in her family hotel

A Nanny for the Reclusive Billionaire is a romance story by author Regina Kyle.
I enjoyed the story and it was a relatively quick read. I find most romances to be predictable, which doesn’t bother me if they are well written or told. This one was told quite well.
Here’s the basic set up. Mallory Worthington is a young woman who spent much of her childhood fighting deadly cancer. It left many scars on her heart, not physical ones but the experience of spending time with other children who didn’t s

Make sure you add it to your Want to Read shelf!

When I first started this book I was skeptical purely based on the title and the short description I had received. I am not normally drawn to single dad/nanny romances. Nor do I tend to go for anything that is mentioning a billionaire because they always feel very unequal. As if the woman should just want to be with any person with money or that, they direly need them to change their life. Therefo

WOW!!! I loved, loved, loved, reading A Nanny for the Reclusive Billionaire by Regina Kyle, book two in her Billionaire series. Cancer survivor Mallory, now an adult, needed to escape her overprotective parents so she takes a job as a nanny on an exclusive island. Regina Kyle is fast becoming one of my favourite authors to read. Her stories are always well written with characters that pull you into their lives and make it hard for you to leave them, and this newest one doesn't disappoint. I couldn't put it down. The story and characters flowed through my imagination and wound their way around my heart, leaving me with a kleenex in one hand and a fan in the other. A Nanny For The Reclusive Billionaire was a quick, fun read. Mallory was a strong character which was kind of a change for the nanny-billionaire trope. She’d gone through literal hell and came out the other side stronger with aspirations to become stronger. She wasn’t some fragile woman who needed the big, strong billionaire to swoop in and save herself.
So she broke free from her suffocating parents and took a job as a nanny for an adorable little boy who lost his mother in a pretty horrific wa

I enjoyed this one, but I found it to be more of an Ok read than anything else.

Here, we meet Mallory and Rhys. She starts working for him as the nanny for this sweet little boy, and even though she’s overly qualified for it, she REALLY needed to get the hell away from her parents.

I liked Mallory, I liked that she was finally breaking free from her smothering family. She had cancer growing up, so her parents are way too overprotective. I could understand why, but yeah, it was too much.

She trained and worked as a chef at her family's hotel in New York, but took the nanny job as a way to get out on her own.

He moved to the island to keep himself and Oliver safe after his wife is killed, but has been able to run his business from there.

Mallory is willing to stand up to Rhys and has strong convictions about life. It was nice that she wasn't just saying yes or telling him he's right. If she t

Wonderful. Fun. Bubbly. Vivacious.

I totally enjoyed this book by Regina Kyle. The writing pulled me in to the beautiful love story between Rhys and Mallory. It starts out being a story about loss and becomes a tale of redemption. And the ride is definitely a fun one. Rhys has lost his wife and the mother to his son Oliver, and has not let lose of any of his grief and guilt. Mallory is a cancer survivor and knows a lot about loss. Their path to each other is a tad bit rocky, but definitely one th

I’m still amazed at how much I loved A Nanny For the Reclusive Billionaire. Single-dads falling for the nanny stories are like my kryptonite, and Ms. Kyle couldn’t have written a better one.

Mallory is a chef working at her family’s hotel. A battle with cancer as a teen has left her with OTT overprotective parents that are slowly driving her crazy, even when everything they do is out of love.

I am always drawn to books that involve billionaires and strong heroines. So after reading the first chapter, I knew I was in for a treat. A Nanny For the Reclusive Billionaire by new to me author Regina Kyle, is replete with a hot couple, a tropical landscape, and a four-year-old boy who is as cute as can be. This book may be completely enjoyed as a standalone.

A Nanny for the Reclusive Billionaire by Regina Kyle. This is Mallory Worthington and billionaire Rhys Dalton's story.

From the very first to the end of the book I was hooked. Mallory and Rhys' characters were great and I was able to feel their emotions and a connection to them. Oliver, Rhys' son, added to the story too but I loved Collins too. All the characters added to this story. Mallory & Rhys' story... billionaire and the nanny - predictable,? Possibly. Recommend it? Most definitely!

The blurb tells you the outline of the story, but when you read this you get to know the characters, Mallory who has been molliecoddled because of childhood illness and needs to escape to live a life, instead of just existing. Rhys who lost his wife a few years ago and has since became obsessed with keeping his son safe - he's such a cool wee dude 😊

And they're adorable as both individuals
