Calvin Landers is a mess.
He has a great job and a steady string of men and women in his bed, and has been in love with the same couple for so long he can't remember a time when he wasn't. Coming off fresh heartbreak, he's ready to move on, to give up on romance and sex altogether and moves in with his best friend, Davis, while he looks for something more permanent and tri

Characters & Chemistry

Cal Landers is a mess. He works for River City’s fire department and has the knack for falling for the most unattainable people and this case it is no different. He was in a polyamorous relationship with Emilie and Miguel, but they sat him down and dumped him. He has daddy issues and all he wants is some to love and not be alone but not being in monogamy. He has been stuck in a rut for a long time so after talking to his best friend

2 Stars!

The Review:
This was a short and fun read, that was told in all three POV’s, which I liked. But the book itself could have been better. I didn’t connect with the characters like I wanted to. In fact, I didn’t really understand their connection to one another. I also thought the story was choppy and disjointed and I felt I needed to have read the other books in the series t

It’s a scorching tale of heartbreak, healing, and decadent delights found amongst the pages of this contemporary ménage romance that brings readers back to River City. Friends become lovers while neighbors become even more in a tale that balances matters of the heart and the mind. Familiar faces also show up to help this trio move past their pain to find happiness in each other’s arms while bringing a blush to your cheeks courtesy of erotically-charged encounters.

Cal’s a firefighter who was happ

Who loves them some trio romance? I know I do! Especially M/F/M romances - they tickle my goats.

Firstly what I enjoyed is that this was told by all three perspectives. When it is a menage relationship, I always enjoy getting a glimpse into all characters in the mix. For me, that allows me to connect more with the romance and their personalities. Unfortunately though, there was a lot of

So this one is a little hard for me because I have loved this series and it's not that I don't still love it but Whiskey Sour sadly left me wanting. I loved the idea of this couple, I wanted it to work and on some level it did. I worked really well between Davis and Ava and Calvin and Davis, but some how the three of them together never felt cohesive. I never felt like Calvin was truly apart of the relationship, it's more that he knew the only way he could have the love of his life, Davis was to ...more

This is book 4 of the River Street Bar Series, but doesn't center as much around the bar as the other books. Don't get me wrong, it's there, and plays a part, but not as heavily. This book is a MMF menage, and is hot enough to set your tablet on fire!

This book begins with a break up. Cal is dumped by the couple he has been secretly involved with for 6 months. They decide they don't want to "play" anymore, and it's time to move on. Cal is heart broken, and calls his best friend since college, Da

Although book 4 in the series it can most certainly be read as a stand alone, however all the books is this series are great so I would recommend you one click them all if and when time and finances permits.
Whiskey Sour was a smoking hot read that had me invested from the first to the last chapter. This book is Cal Landers story, fire fighter and all round great guy and is a menage which contains MMF and MM. All Cal really wants is to find love and it is his vulnerability that got to me.

Whiskey Sour is the 4th book in the River Street Bar Series. Even though this book is in a series it can be read as a standalone. Although, I think you miss out on knowing who all the characters are. Because you will see them again in the other books.

This is Calvin Landers, Davis Emmerson & Ava Liu’s story.

Cal is heartbroken he was in a ménage relationship with Emilie and Miguel whom we have met in a previous book in this series. All he wants is to be loved and settle down. Cal thought he w

Book 4 in the River Street Bar Series and this book is by far the hottest so far, when this books starts we find Cal trying to come to terms with a breakup he has just been dumped by a couple he has spent the last 6 months with and it has left him broken-hearted, the relationship may have been a secret to the world but to him it was real and when he was told they didn’t want to play any more he does what most would do and that’s call his best friend Davis. Davis sees this as a great opportunity ...more

When I read the blurb my interest was peaked with this one. It was engaging from the very beginning. A seriously hot tale of heartbreak, healing, passion and friends to lovers mixed in with some hot AF ménage romance

Its not my favourite from the series but I loved it regardless. The trust in the friendships involved was beautiful to watch blossom and grow. I simply adored Davies and Ava, their honesty and friendship was so sweet to watch. I struggled in parts with Cal, his defences and worries o

One of my favorite stories to read is one with a three way relationship. I love the dynamics if it is written right. This one is written perfectly. I loved how Davis wanted to be with Ava and was in love with his best friend, Cal. I was scared that they weren’t going to be able to work everything out, but when they did it was perfect. The quirks they had and the obstacles they faced were of course challenging, but they were supportive. I loved that they could communicate their feelings.

Wow this book was so, so HOT!! The characters are lovable and sweet but also sexy and hot as hell. I haven't read any of the other books in this series as yet but I don't think I'm missing anything because of it. This is more than just a MFM book, it is a story of love, friendship and understanding. A great read and no doubt a great series, which I will definitely be going back to read!! A must read book for lovers of MFM and MM.

When a book is good for your mental health it puts everything in perspective. I was fascinated by the different layers in this book: love received in different ways, mental health issues ( had never read Anyone with Agoraphobia) accompanied with a love story of a puzzle that just wanted to be whole. This left me with such a sense of peace and win for Ava, so proud of Davis for facing his fears, and pleased at Cal for letting it go. So good!

I loved loved loved this story..heck, I love the entire series!
Cal, Davies and Ava's might be my fav yet.
These three all come with hangs up and very effed up pasts but together they are just so sweet and so good.
I love all the characters. Davis is the calm and collected, always charming. Cal is the cuddly anx joker of the three. Ava might be very shy but she has a mouth on her when she gets comfortable.
The suspense throughout the story adds another layer to it.
Great story, great series!

Another great book from Nazarea in the River Street Bar Series. Cal is a mess after a recent breakup, so Davis his best friend moves from New York to help him through it, but accidentally turns up at the Agoraphobic Ava's door. Some how they manage to help each other through their own problems and pasts but will it be enough.....

I have loved EVERY book in this series, but I think this may be my favorite! I love this series because it's so different from most of the other stories out there! Quirky but very lovable characters that steal your heart! This is so much more than an MFM book - it has all the feels too! GAH! I love this book!

Won a copy in a competition.

This trio was hot when they all get in the same page.
It certainly highlights their troubles as individuals well and how working together is better.

A sweet romance with some very sexy scenes.

Nazarea Andrews is an avid reader and tends to write the stories she wants to read. She loves chocolate and coffee almost as much as she loves books, but not quite as much as she loves her kids. She lives in south Georgia with her husband, daughters, and overgrown dog.
