OMG, I loved every minute of reading this book and can't say enough good things about how it made me feel! It's exhilarating and scary and 100 different things! Our heroine is more than capable of taking care of herself, but in this case with the Russian Mob putting a hit on her...yes I'd say that she needs protecting.
Mason- Holy Hotness! Lets get in there and kick ass and get the situation under control!
Anne L. Parks has me undone! You WANT to buy and read this book for yourself! Susan Stoker's Special Forces Kindle World is blowing up and this is where I'm spending my book money!

Ms. Parks has a way of telling a story that draws you in from the very beginning of the book and you know it will be an exciting adventure. The characters she creates are so down-to-earth and relatable with every day circumstances and the worlds hold a familiarity of somewhere you have been. The dialogue and character interactions could be that which you might have with friends or family. It is easy to immerse yourself in her stories and with her wonderful world-building picture the scenes as they unfold. There is plenty of drama, suspense, situational and sexual tension, wit, humor, and some romance. The fun-loving banter between the characters will have you smiling and sometimes, laughing out loud. It is easy to connect with Mason, Jess and their friends and entertaining to watch the growing bond they share move from an assignment for security to friendship to something deeper, which they both try to ignore until it is possibly too late. Though this story could easily be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone, you will definitely get greater pleasure and a better understanding of all the characters and overall storyline if you read the rest of the series, in order. Each book has its own highlighted couple but all the books connect with an overall theme. This is definitely a series you will not want to miss. *I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Mason by Anne L. Parks is an adrenaline filled rollercoaster ride of suspense, terroists, murder, kidnapping. This book grabs the reader from page one and never lets go. This is the 3rd book in the series and is muchbmore intense and in depth than the other two books. Jessica and Mason "Tink" are amazing characters ans so down to earth that theircstory entices you in and you will not be able to put it down. This book is a standalone but if read in order the characters really grow on you. The character development and story line are so masterfully crafted by Parks that you fall in love with her characters and don't want the story to end. Jessica is no damsel in distress she can definitely take care of herself but as her friends are killed and her mother iskidnapped she needs all the help and protection she can get. I love Mason and his alpha self. The call sign" Tink" is genius for such a large protective guy. The chemistry is off the charts with these two and they deserve a HEA ending and work hard to get there. The secondary characters are instrumental in adding so much depth and humor to this story thst you will want to binge read the rest of the books in this series. If you love military alpha men and the kick ass women they fall in live with Anne L. Parks is the author for you. Do not miss one of her books. Well done!!

What a great story! Mason is another foray into the world of The 13, a highly covert unit made up of twelve special operations members from all four branches of the military—Navy SEALs, Marine Raiders, Army Rangers, and Air Force Parajumpers. Mason is a Navy SEALS Master Chief who meets Jess as she becomes the target of a father seeking vengeance and embroiled with the terrorist organization known as the Russian Revolutionary Army. He is charged with protecting her, but can either of them protect their most vulnerable parts, their hearts? They are a marvelous couple, sparring with each other in their denial of the palpable attraction and sexual tension that’s in the air. Action-packed and passionate on so many levels, this novel will grab you from the beginning and keep you on the edge of your seat right to the very end.
Author Anne Parks has a very special love for the military which she always communicates in her writing. She treats them as the heroes they are and with the respect they so richly deserve. She is a masterful storyteller whose writing has a very smoothe flow with no pretense. Down to earth characters find themselves in extraordinary situations which they handle with intelligence and courage. Great reading! Highly recommended.

I received this ARC for an honest review
Jessica Baylor, finishes work and is having drinks with her girlfriends. Whilst there she makes eye contact with a guy. she's approached by the man who rudely interrupts the girls night out when his advanced are rebuffed by Jess she leaves, but he follows her and attacks her in the car park in the struggle he is killed
unbeknown to Jess he is the son of a ruthless cartel boss.
Who now has his sights set on revenge for his son's murder
Mason Hunt is in the newly formed 13.
His job now is to protect Jess at all costs.
The cartel boss wants Jess to pay for killing his son and Will go to any lengths to get her even if it means getting to the people she cares about most.
This was an awesome read a lot grittier than some of the other books that miss parks has written but nevertheless this was most enthralling it kept you reading right to the very end.
I can't wait to see more of the 13.

WOW - military special ops action packed high intense. That a romance was weaved in the story was amazing.
Navy Seal 13 a special group with CIA to stop terrorists. This is an intense action packed military take down of criminals. Has some insight o the horrific criminals throw Nguyen amount us. So troubling. It also shows us the brave hero's that sacrifice so much to protect us. The ignorance is bliss is so true for all that go through daily motions and not have a clue how close to our doors the evil lies. Guess a woman trying to find happiness with her friends. The precious things in life taken from her. Through the good, bad and ugly her hero protector is vulnerable and they find each other. Violence 3 (military n terrorist and a very sick group of people). Sex2.

First I have to say this. . . I love the nickname Tink for this massive hunk of a man. I also love that this little spitfire has him all out of sorts and doing things using his heart as his guide. Of course that just keeps them in a mass of mess. Without knowing who to trust and where the leak is if he's gonna get his hea out of this he's gonna have to be real inventive.
Ms Parks does her research and it shows. She always has guys who may go off the radar for their women but they sure do know how to handle them selves. Her stories grab you from the start and don't let you go until the last page. There's plenty of action and yeah it gets intense with intrigue and oh crap moments a plenty. Love this authors style.

What a story! Ms. Parks writes an amazing journey for Mason and Jess. This is the third charter in this series and it's a more in depth read which gives the reader the right amount of information to be immersed in this story. The action starts in the first chapter and doesn't stop until the book ends. You can't stop turning the pages and I can't wait for the next chapter in this series. The dialogue is great, the interaction is substantial between the characters and the storyline is spot on.

The latest book in the 13 series, Mason is assigned to protect Jess who has unwittingly killed the son of a Russian cartel boss in self-defense. The characters are well written and even though Jess does need protection she is not a weak damsel in distress. I love that you also get to revisit some of the other characters from the 13 series but you need not read those books to enjoy Mason. Anne Parks brings you into the action step by step and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Loved this Military romance! The characters of Mason "Tink" and Jess were well developed and I was captivated by the suspense and intrigue. Unfortunately in today's world the storyline in this book is something that probably happens more than we are aware of as are the missions our Special Forces men and women undergo on a regular basis. In this book you can enter both worlds from the safety of your own home. This is definitely a book you will want to buy as well as the other 13 in the series.

3 for 3 on this series being “insta-love” which I cannot stand, especially when it’s the basis for every relationship in a series. Mason & Jess are great, a whole week goes by before the “I love you” starts, but their entire relationship cover to cover is like 2–3 weeks. 😕
HOWEVER, the action and the series story arc are so good, it’s making up for it. 3.5 rounded to 4 stars.
The next novella “Ben” is a continuation of Ben & Mia’s story from the first book ~ so I’m looking forward to them getting an HEA/HFN.

Received this book for an honest review. This was an amazing read. U have all the action, drama, kidnapping and love u could hope for. Jess was at a bar with her friends when she was approached and things went bad from their. Mason is with The 13 and eventually they are called in to protect Jess and keep her safe. Loved this book. Jess is being hunted by terrorists and Mason is bound and determined to protect her at all costs.

Wow another amazing story by Anne parks. How can u not love Mason the big alpha hot Navy seal. Throw in Jess a spirited woman trying to stay alone while losing everyone around her. These two are amazing together as are the rest of the characters in this series. What a ride these two take us on along with the rest of the 13. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Loving the 13! Mason is a powerhouse. He is protective and loves his job. Jess doesn't want a man, she is happy with her life until she turns down the wrong man. Now her life hangs in the balance. in less than 48 hours her life it flipped upside down. Now she's stuck in with a man as big as a house and intimidating. She has no control over any facet of her life.

I loved this. I accidentaly read these books out of order. I found Mason while browsing Kindle unlimited looking for books to read. After I finished this one I went back and found the first two. I can’t wait for her next book..

Definitely a great read! The characters are strong in their beliefs, as well as their relationship with each other.

A good novel with fun action scenes! Will warn you of violence and some parts that may make you feel a bit icky. The plot twists are fun, though I wish there were more developed scenes in the novel besides the sexy parts.

Awesome from start to finish
Absolutely loved this book. I can't wait to read the next in the series.
Mason and Jess were great Jess was a bit annoying sometimes, but overall their story was sweet and the RRA running plot is very interesting.

A hard book to put down, the story line was strong and kept you on the edge of your seat. Would definitely consider reading others in this series. Great read.

I read for entertainment and escape. This book just had too intense violence and too much sadness for me. Not my kind of book.
