Hello Again!
I finally got to read some more Giant Days and I can assure you I still love this series so much! I think I will always love this series and that it may have earned a special place in my heart. I recently learned that John Allison has a new graphic novel series coming out (that is not Giant Days) and I am so excited to give that series a try and see if I love that one as well!

okay I love love love giant days but wtf was with Esther's Halloween costume in this issue? I thought that we knew dressing up as a "sexy geisha" is a huge no at this point? having a single character point out that it's cultural appropriation but then literally not follow up on it at all does not fix it.

I didn't like Esther saying 'why is there so much of her' about Ed's friend. That was very size-ist and rude.

Interesting that a series with literally no POC puts a character in a culturally appropriative Halloween costume as a "joke."

I'll never grow tired of this series. I cherish each issue as the end grows nearer with every release. I'll be sad to see it go, but for now I will enjoy the shenanigans of these goofy uni kids until the bitter end.
