The Clockwise Collection Finale!

The stress created by Casey's recent split from Nate causes her to trip back in time in a haphazard manner, and not always to the same time! Sometimes she's in 1929 Boston getting more entangled than ever with the mishaps of her new and not-so-helpful friends, and at other times she's back in 1775 trying to make sure the colonists still win

I absolutely love this series....after the last one I just had to see what would happen next! This one actually had a whole lot going on in it which is in contrast with the usual laid backness of the others. I kinda have mixed feelings about what was going on. I liked it but don't think some of the details were explained as well as in other books in the series which made me not like it as much.
A must read though for this series. Ende

For a while there all of Casey's "tripping" in the book had me tripping in my head. The poor thing was really reeling from her break up with Nate and was heading into one messed up time line after another. I'm so glad that she finally found the help she needed to set things straight. (nice touch there by the author, but I'm not going to be handing out a spoiler here).
Although I must admit I was very surprised that after all that she went through when she didn't have Nate, she refused to get back

A wonderful conclusion

This historical young adult time travel saga will grab and keep you up until you finish. Well written with believable characters you fall in love with. Each of these segments bond together in a cohesive manner creating a universe that you want to be made whole. This tale will entertain you from the first page until the end. I would love to see this explode on the big screen. Great job. Very clean without the need for the usual steamy bedroom scenes.

I haven't had a book hangover in a while, but I got one after finish this book. Although I agree with some other readers of this series that the romance was a little juvenile and the reason for the time travel wasn't fully explained, I still enjoyed this series a lot. Strauss set up a lot of new stuff in this last book which made me wish she was going to add more to the series. I would like to spend more time in this world. ...more

I really loved this series, in fact, I read all 6 books within a week. This last book was actually my least favorite. It felt like there were too many problems stuffed into one book and it wasn't completely clear how they were all solved. I almost quit reading the last few chapters because the plot wasn't going the way I wanted it to. Although the ending was still great, it took a long time to get there. ...more

I thought this series couldn't get worse after the last book. This one has too much going on and reads like a teenager wrote it. There are so many mistakes in the book; it's like it was written on a phone and autocorrect took over. I had to force myself to finish it. ...more

When we first met Casey she travelled in time but she had it handled.
Now Casey doesn't know where she'll end up when she trips. It could be the 1920s or the 1770s. Every time she trips she finds herself in another timeline which she doesn't recognise. Friends become enemies and vice versa.
We find ourselves following Casey as she tries to fix what changes were made in the past so she can find her way
home.
This is the last story in the Clockwise series. Really enjoyable series.

Love this series

I have really enjoyed the sevens of Casey and Nate, sad for them to end. It sounds like they continue to go on trips.

Spoilers for Clockwork Crazy and the series!

This was a fun series and I feel that it ended on a high. I'm well past the target demographic but enjoy young adult fiction, especially anything related to time travel. This series had lot of reliable tropes and repetition, mainly involving Casey and company returning to the past, falling in with friends who watched them vanish weeks before, only to watch them do so again and excuse it quickly.

The series began with two books from Casey's perspective,

Wow! What a wonderful conclusion to an awesome series! At the end of the previous book, Casey had to trip back to fix the changes that she and Nate had inadvertently made to the past in the hopes that she can make their timeline return to normal. But even as she ends up fixing the past, is the present still broken for her and Nate? The stress and shock of their breakup sends Casey tripping back to the 1920s and into the path of ANOTHER time traveler. He sees Casey as a kindred soul and takes her ...more

When we finished with COUNTER CLOCKWISE, none of us readers knew what to expect. Casey’s life was spiraling out of control; messing with her personal life and her time traveling life as well. With the way things were going she may have changed the world as she knew it for the worse. Only time will tell if she will be able to right all her wrongs...

There is no easy way to review this book without giving away major plots and spoilers. But I loved it! I quickly read through this book and loved ever

The crazy in the title said it all. This story took me all over the place and I wondered how it would all end. Poor Casey is in so much pain through most of this story and I felt for her because my one and only broke up with me on valentines day and I didn't see him again for three months. Our story ending was similar to this one minus the time travel of course. I loved all the new people and the new times and the interesting things she had to do to fix time. The title says it all...Casey Donovan has a giant crazy adventure without her close friends while dealing with her breakup with Nate, changes in her time traveling abilities and the consequences of the time travel in her current time period. Casey even travels to a new time period-all the way to the birth of the US. She even gets to meet a couple of people instrumental in it. It was an epic adventure as Casey deals with the usual young adult rites of passage of finishing high school, first love, ...more

There are some great things about this book. The twists and turns in the book mimic the turmoil of emotions that a teenager goes through especially after a break-up. I was a bit confused by the time lines being more parallel than actually just one future...and I am not sure at what point Casey decided that they were as well. I wish that Strauss would have brought some of the lessons that Casey learns in this book into previous books instead of leaving them for the last one - i think it would hav ...more

Loved, Loved loved this book series! I may not be a YA, but enjoyed it just the same!! I did not want the series to end!
Casey's time traveling messes with the time line! Ever wonder what a parallel time line would look like? Elle Strauss has explored this with Casey and her relationship or I should say relationships with Nate! You will want to read Clockwork Crazy cuz it ties up a lot of the loose ends from the first 4 books. Page tuner to the end!

I received a free copy of this book for an hones

This series went from great to sort of meh. I don't like that the author decided to change the way her time travel worked. "By the way, now it's like Back to the Future!" I understand she needed more content but honestly it was really confusing and I didn't like the rules changing...

Plus the ending was long-winded. Why couldn't she just end it like 40 pages sooner? It honestly seemed silly to me to draw it out for a pretty lousy reason: "to grow and mature" (for all of three months?)

Maybe we'll

Another great time travel story from Elle Strauss. I love all the adventures and trouble she creates. I find myself constantly rooting for things as they happen. And do they ever. A fitting finale to this time-sweeping series. This installment, though still riddled with editorial misses, was much more concise, flowing from timeline to timeline with very few hiccoughs along the way. The series as a whole was fun, imaginative, historically accurate, and clean. I'd happily recommend it to ages 11+ (a mature 10 would not have issues following the timelines). ...more
