Forget Angels and Demons. Give me Angels and Very Bad Angels. Among the People is a fresh and unique look into the world of angles - especially that band of fallen ones and how they've come to grips with their ultimate sin. The story artfully unfolds as one of the fallen one, Sarduvial, seeing the error of his ways, hides himself 'amongst the people' of earth, seeking a means to salvation. Angels both good and bad prey upon the lives of the innocent, altering the courses of their lives and perhaps acting out a destiny that was preordained. This is a great, quick read with deep insights into the pantheon of the angelic and their impact on human history. Once I started, I couldn't stop until it was done. Rommel scores again!
