I did not really care for the book at first, but the last half was pretty good. I enjoyed how Winkie shared bibles stories and that he expounded a lot on Isaiah 50:6-12 towards the end of the book. It stirred in me some emotions as it he wrote about the long times of darkness; the absence of any sense of God. How no matter what we do, prayer or believe, only NOTHING. I have long been in a time of darkness, and I caused my heart to grow heavy and to feel again a kind of wish for God. If I am left with anything from the book, Its keep on keeping on, do my duty, and that something good will come about from all of this
