One night is never enough…

For firefighter Sean Riddick, Warrior Fight Club keeps the demons of his past at bay, even though it means seeing Daniela England. Her ball-busting sarcasm drives him nuts, and he knows he’s damaged goods anyway, but he can’t help but remember how good they were together that one time. Now he wants to take her to the mats no matter how much they g

I think this may be my favorite couple and book of this series. It also reads really well as a stand-alone so if you just want meet Daniella and Sean, jump on in to this book. I didn’t know quite what to expect from these two, but their banter, their growing friendship, the depth of their care for each other was all a pleasure to read. I really did enjoy every second. I couldn’t wait for them to get their HEA and yet I didn’t want it to end.

'Fighting The Fire' is the book that I've been waiting for for ages, though I'd probably call it the crowning glory of Laura Kaye's achievement these past few years after reading the author's post-story notes.

Sean Riddick and Dani England were the pairing I was always looking out for in this series, and I supposed I was hoping for a lot more vitriol, more intense sniping and more edgy interactions that would make the sparks between them ignite more spectacularly. But if it was the enem

One Sentence Summary: Firefighter Sean Riddick and ER nurse Daniela England are both trying to forget their one night stand but when Sean is injured in a motorcycle accident Dani steps in to take care of him.

I’ve been waiting patiently (for the most part) for a new Laura Kaye book and my wait finally paid off with this emotional romance! FIGHTING THE FIRE was sexy, beautifully written, and had Kaye’s perfect brand of humor. I’ve always

Fighting The Fire is the fourth book in the Warrior Fight Club. A military and sports romance told in dual POV by Daniela England and Sean Riddick . Can be read as a standalone but the characters from the previous books all make an appearance as they are all friends and veterans. This is a lighthearted, funny and enjoyable read. Frenemies that are actually perfect for each other.

Daniela is an ER nurse at the local hospital since leaving her combat medic position when she lost her army husband t

Ms. Kaye's Warrior Fight Club series comes to a rousing end with this emotional tale of two wounded warriors finding healing through their long-simmering attraction (leading to a one night stand) and a motorcycle accident he needs help recovering from! Theirs is a journey that put them, and readers, through the wringer in a story that pulled at my heartstrings and brought a tear or two to my eye along the way. Aiding them in their journey was a cast of appealing secondary characters, ones seen i ...more

“Live where you fear to live, Dani”

Daniela England has spent the past 5 plus years letting fear control her decisions. Other than being a part of Warrior Fight Club, she goes to work and mostly keeps to herself. She has spent so much of her time alone, losing too many people she loved, that going about her days with few attachments is just safer.

I was lucky enough to be given an ARC of the latest installment in Laura Kaye's Warrior Fight Club series. The WFC is a group of retired military personnel, who get together to practice their martial arts skills and support each other as they deal with the emotional aftermath of their service and learn to thrive in the civilian world again.
Fighting the Fire is the story of Daniela and Sean, who are secondary characters earlier in the series. Like all the of the primary characters in this series,

This book had me at first page. I’ve been in a fantasy mood lately, so when I picked this one up I was doubting if I was in the right mood for a romance. I’m so glad I picked it up! Laura Kaye never fails me, she’s definitely one of my favorite romance authors.

I was intrigued by Daniela and Sean’s dynamics from their first interaction in the story. They trained together in the Warrior Fight Club, they had an amazing group of friends there and they ended up seeing each othe

This is the third full length novel in the series but can easily be read as a standalone. Cheers to Laura |Kaye for her fight to get back to sharing her stories with us. Are you ready for fun flirty banter with a side of stinging emotions and guilt? These characters grow so much throughout this book, learning that they are not the to blame for a past that was out of their control. They are not worth less because of the tragedies they have encountered.

Fighting the Fire is the third book in Kaye's Warrior Fight Club. It starts off with the two main characters already knowing each other so I really expect the author to do the falling in love early in the book thing. I was so glad that she made us and them work for "that love".

At first, I couldn't understand why they were so snippy at each other. More so Dani but Sean gave as good as he got. You'd think at first th

3.5-4 stars. Fighting the Fire is book three in the Warrior Fight Club series. We finally get Sean and Daniella's story. In previous books, we had a glimpse at their bickering way of flirting during fight club together. In this book, we learn the history behind their characters. Daniela is a nurse and was in the military. Her husband was also in the miitary and he died in combat. She carries so much guilt over the circumstances surrounding his death and has not fully healed from that loss. Sean ...more

Daniela/Dani England has built a wall around her heart, the anniversary of her husband's death is comin up and she's fighting to get through this year. The camaraderie of the Warrior's Fight Club does much to help as does the physical exertion.

Sean Riddick doesn't think he's worthy of anything or anyone. The Fight Club helps him deal with that as does his job as a firefighter where he often takes on extra shifts to keep from thinking.

Both of our main characters have forms of PTSD on top of their

This book was so beyond WORTH THE WAIT!! I have been jonesing for this book since I finished Fighting For What's His. This whole series has been such an eye opening series into the struggle of military members and their families. The author went through battles akin to her characters to get this book to us, but it was most definately worth the wait!

Sean is a fireman. Daniela is a nurse. They both served, and are members of WFC. They had a thing, and now they are flirting around each other. Daniela is a widow, her husband died in action.
Sean is leaving from dinner on his motorcycle, when he is hit by a truck running a red light. Dani goes into nurse mode at the scene. Sean has an eye issue, and hurt ribs. Dani stays with him, and lets WFC know what is going on so someone can be around to help him. Sean quotes the movie Deadpool a lot, and h

I love the camaraderie between all of the members of the Warrior Fight Club. They go out to dinner every Saturday night and have forged friendships that will last forever. They listen to each other, offer advice and never judge when someone is having a bad day. This bond is the reason Daniela didn’t hesitate to help Sean after his accident.
