Final Dawn #14

A Day of Reckoning

It’s a time of turmoil on all fronts.
In Plainview Frank has finally professed his love for young Josie. Then he worries that by doing so he’s placed himself in danger. Some of Josie’s relatives aren’t exactly keen on the idea and aren’t afraid to tell him so.
At Salt Mountain a new baby is born. Happiness is the order of the day.
Then word comes from a surprising source that Hannah’s presence is needed elsewhere. Colonels Medley and Wilcox, sitting in a military brig in San Antonio, are facing the fight of their lives. And Hannah may be the only one who can save them.
In Eden the murders of Lenny Geibel and Junior will not go unpunished. The good guys are up against heavily armed men with a few meager weapons of their own. But they have right on their side. They’ll prevail, but at a high cost.

Not his best! Jumps around too much and leaves nothing but loose ends. About the only accomplishment was Brad and Sami have their baby although we aren't told if she is ever going to forgive Brad. Should have left out all the loose ends and went into whatever Book 15 will reveal. Hope it is up to the quality of the first 13 which are great! Sorry.

Judgment

Another great book in this series. The folks at Eden have to retake their prison home. Frank has to work hard to be accepted by the Dykes clan.

A Day of Reckoning: Final Dawn Book 14

As always, I love this series. Like, really love it. I also really wish there weren't so many inconsistencies. There was a President Clark, a President Cullen and I think a third one but I'm not positive about that one. Now, there's President Wallace.

In the last book, the bunker was the COG bunker. Now, it's just for the military. Previously, the President, Vice President and so forth were in this bunker. Now, there's apparently another bunker closer to Washington for them.

Previously, one star General Swain was the base commander who disappeared with several other high ranking officials the day before/the day Cupid 23 hit. They vanished. No one was renamed Base Commander. All the Colonels met and Wilcox was decided to be in charge.
