I was curious to see what this was about after reading the Hulk comics Keown worked on. It seems pretty indebted to Hulk and while it has a mythology, it is too focused on drawing out very simplistic story beats and wallowing in (admittedly awesome) splash pages.

Peak '90s Image Comics ~eXtReMe~ style. Barely any story or discernable characters but muscles and (multichromatic) blood for days. Not as eye-rollingly wretched as Liefeld's contemporary output. Still not nothing worth seeking out. Classic 25¢ bin "why not" pick up. Useful for reliving the pre-crash halcyon days of comic industry excess.
