It uniquely blends a detailed treatment of landmark cases with a thorough discussion of the legal context, trends, and generalizations to guide all school personnel in their daily activities. This was a requirement for grad school. It has some great information in the text and I gained a lot of new information. This text along with supplemental material was beneficial for class.

Not a book to sit down and read, but more of a reference book to have in your possession just in case. I like it because it holds summaries at the end of each chapter that make for very quick reference, but the con is that court decisions are different depending where you are.
