This book was a quick read but packed a big wallop into the story. Thus proving all books don’t have to be as long as War and Peace to have an impact on the reader or what the story has to tell.

Taking chances, friendship, coming to terms with who Gem really is, forgiveness, fear, realizing what true love is and realizing what Gem and Josh could be together if allowed to grow are all apart of this deep and meaningful tale.

Gem has been through extremely rough times, not just in the last four years

Oh gem’s story is so fantastic. I was not disappointed. She has a sad back story but Josh comes along and brightens up her life. It’s just a lovely story. You’re never to late for true love.

I started this series almost at the end. I read how Kate and Danny meet and fall in love. Then because I HAD to know who Gem, Abi and Elle were, I started at the beginning. And now, here we are, the end. I hate the ending of a series. It's like saying goodbye to old friends. But the best thing about books, or let's face it, ONE of the best things about a book, is that your friends will always be waiting for you to turn the page. So my girls, enjoy your men, I certainly did. And until we meet aga ...more

The Music & Letters series will always be one of my favourite book series. Not only because of the emotions that the author brings out when I’m reading her words, but the four girl friends who are the focus of the series - Elle, Abi, Kate and Gem, I feel like they have become my friends. They each have their own book, each book is different to the others because this group is made up of individuals with their own stories to tell and I will say that I think each character is amazing and I lov ...more

Last...but not the least in any way!
This is hands down my favorite book in the series!!!!! And I truly believe the author nailed this order with bringing us Gem’s story as the finale!
Through the whole series I always thought....poor Gem. I have waited what feels like forever for her story and her more than deserved HEA and I was not disappointed at all. You won’t be either.
Gem’s tale was wonderfully scripted as a woman who loves so hard and so much and has to learn to love herself as well. I don

Well, Ms Stewart, you have out done yourself! Words fail me (and this is rare, let me tell you), but I'll give it a go! Let Me Be Your Last is superb, I have loved all the books in the Music and Letters Series, but this one took my breath away. I was absolutely riveted from beginning to end. Gem is slowly, oh so slowly, beginning to live again after her ratbag of a husband cheated on her. She connects with Joshua through an online dating site, he seems genuine, they click, and eventually Gem gat ...more

Let Me Be Your Last is a strong ending to one of my favorite series.

From the very beginning, you know the journey of the heroine, Gem, has been tough. If you have read other stories in this series, you have seen glimpses of Gem and the life she is living as a single mother. Lynsey Stewart does an amazing job of making you feel the struggles without feeling bad for Gem because she's so strong.

Josh is EXACTLY what Gem's needs. Someone to sweep her off of her feet. Someone who loves children. Som

This is the first book that I have read in the Music and Letters series. Let me start out saying that I thoroughly enjoyed it. This book can be read as a standalone. I did not feel like I was missing anything since I have not read the other books. Now that I’ve read this one I will definitely go back and read the others.

Gem is a divorced mother of two that is trying to find her way with raising two boys, dealing with a difficult ex, and letting herself love again. Josh is sweet, sexy, swoony, an

3.5 stars Love Yourself First!
Let Me Be Your Last is a love story about hope, strength, and love. Gem and Josh are characters that you feel like you know. They are at different stages in their lives, but they have both been blindsided by love previously. They meet via a dating website/app and share an easy rapport. Via electronic communication they slowly get to know one another. A friendship of sorts is formed. The only thing left to do is meet in the flesh. And when they do, it is surreal. The

I loved Gem and Josh’s story! LET ME BE YOUR LAST is not only a fantastic book on its own but as a conclusion to the Letters & Music series.

The relationship between is Gem and Josh is incredibly romantic. The connection between them is physical, spiritual and emotional. It’s not always a smooth path, but once they are both sure they want to pursue this bond between them, they work together to make it happen.

As swoony as Josh is, the star for me was Gem. She married young, had children young

It's been a great journey reading these books in the Music & Letter's series and I've enjoyed each book in a different way. We'll definitely hear more of this author in the future!

Gem has been divorced for 4 years now after she caught her husband cheating and is trying to do the best she can for her two little boys but being a single parent isn't easy. Her ex isn't doing a lot and her love life is just non existent. But when she meets Josh online there's this easiness between

OMG I loved Gems story so much! This is a quick read, I had it read in one sitting. This is an amazing ending to Music & Letters. I was drew into this book from the first sentence just like the other books. Gem has been divorced 4 years now after she caught her husband cheating and is trying to do the best she can for her two little boys. Her ex isn't doing a lot and being a single mom isn't easy. But when she meets Josh online there's this easiness between them. When they finally meet it's ...more

This is the fourth book in the Music and Lyrics series and is Gem's story. Four years ago, Gem caught her husband cheating on her and divorce followed, but Gem is left with a useless ex-husband, two boys, a non-existent love life, and three fantastic friends. Unfortunately, these friends have all found their soul mates, who rock their worlds in more ways that one, so Gem decides that she is going to put herself out there and so she meets Josh. This is the story of Gem learning to love herself an ...more

This was this perfect ending the this amazing series. From the very beginning I wanted Gem to get her happily ever after and I was not disappointed. Josh’s epic first date puts every other first date to shame until he plans other dates. Of course, not everything is easy and Gem’s ex does cause some problems but in the end Gem gets her HEA.
In addition to Gem’s love story, Lynsey M. Stewart brought together the girls for a great conclusion. Without spoiling too much, the scene at the bridal shop

Let Me Be Your Last by Lynsey M. Stewart, the 4th and final book in her Music and Letters series, was a heartfelt look into what it is like to move on, put yourself first, and find your own happily ever after. Ms. Stewart writes with a flare that will be sure to have you laughing, crying, and learning some new terms. In Let Me Be Your Last, she writes about how to put yourself back together after your heart breaks and makes an accurate portrayal of how life is when one tries to find love while j ...more

Oh, my. I love all these ladies, but Gem might be my favorite...

This book is for everyone who's been thru a wicked divorce. Been cheated on. Had the MIL from Hades. And had most excellent friends....or any combination thereof.

Gem doesn't think she deserves her second chance...Josh thinks she's worth everything.

Toss in some miscommunication...this is a love story, but more than that, it's a story about friendship, and the people who are there for you no matter what.

Another amazing story by Lynsey M Stewart

This story is the last of her series. It was an amazing read. We finally got Gem's story. Her ex was a dirtbag who didn't deserve her. She found love online. She had a lot of issues to work through thanks to her ex. Her amazing group of friends help in her journey of rediscovery. This book has all the feels, love, laughter, angsty and tears.

Josh is swoon worthy

This story was so sweet. Gem is a single mom who’s ex isn’t the greatest man in the world. Josh is a teacher who’s passion is children and is phenomenal at planning dates. Their story was perfect for them. I was rooting for them from the beginning. I also enjoyed seeing my other favorites from the series.

There is something so amazing about a book that doesn't allow you to walk away from it until you finish. Let Me Be Your Last is that kind of book. From the second I sat down to read it, I was enthralled by the strength of Gem and the passion of Josh.

I was heartbroken by the prologue and my emotions followed Gem's amazing journey of restarting her life as a single mom of two kids. Trying to find a new normal, dipping her toes in the dating pool, navigating dealing with ex in-laws and an ex-husba
