The loyalty that binds me to the biker gang I've been in my whole life isn’t loyalty at all. It’s fatigue. Exhaustion from the game I've played for so many years.
I've had fictitious freedom for five years but I knew eventually they'd be back. I was expecting it after all.
What I wasn't expecting was Ramsey. She was supposed to come in and out of my life, quickly like a fa

Wow, Ashley Munoz has gone all out and put her best foot forward in her debut release.

In this slow burn romantic suspense, she has pieced together one hell of a ride that kept my interest right through from beginning to end. The plot slotted together like an intricate jigsaw that gave away snippets of information until a larger picture was formed and even then, not all was revealed. And, by the by, it is a little longer that most books.

Both Ramsey and Jimmy are strong individuals who have people

I finally finished this book after legit being unable to focus for nearly 2 days on much of anything else! Ramsey and Jimmy’s story instantly hooked me! This book made me laugh and cry, gave me emotional whiplash (in the best way!), it made me want to bash Ramsey and Jimmy’s heads together to make them see reason sometimes too!! Just when I thought my heart was going to break, it all came back together! This book has heart and passion and it has made its way to the top of my favorites list! Whil ...more

I couldn’t put this one down. I was instantly on the edge of my seat. I love how I felt like I was right there with Ramsey and Jimmy - it was like a movie playing all the way through. I found myself cheering or yelling at the characters for I truly felt emotionally invested in them. This could easily be a I would watch over and over! Would love to see a continuation of there story...Fingers Crossed.

First I have to say that this book was nothing like what I thought it would be. It turned out to be so much more. I really enjoyed this book once I got into it. It was slow at first but then it started to pick up and it took off and running from there.

Ramsey has lost her job and has decided to go home to her mother who just found out she is sick. Ramsey is determined to spend as much time with her mother as possible. She decides to go looking for a job in her hometown and she goes on an intervi

For a debut novel this a fab read. Extremely well written. It's a long book but I didn't find it boring it really gave you chance to get to know the characters. It's a rollercoaster ride of emotions, misunderstandings, trust, loyalty, truth, you name it it's in this book. Ramsey leaves Chicago to go home and look after her ailing mother. On her way to a job interview she encounters an attack of road rage with a motor bike, little did she know that he would have been her new boss. After verbally ...more

"Glimmer" by Ashley Munoz is a great debut story. I enjoyed reading Ramsey and Jimmy's story. This is a great mix of romantic suspense, MC and wonderful characters. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author in the future. Highly recommend to all fans of romantic suspense and MC.

A tale about what makes a family and a home

Wow, this was an impressive debut novel. It put me through the grinder emotionally at times.

This book is about Ramsey, a financial manager who loses her job, due to restructuring, at the same time her mother is diagnosed with terminal cancer. She decides to move back to the small town where her mother lives to spend as much time with her as possible. Finding work that uses her degree and experience has not been easy, but she finally thinks she has found

It took me about two days to write this review. I wanted to love this book so bad, but it turned out to be just okay for me.

Ramsey is determined to give her mother the best life possible in her last days, and she doesn’t need a man or have time for one to distract her from doing just that. But Ramsey finds it hard to resist Jimmy, his father, and his two beautiful children. It also isn’t the best timing when Jimmy has his own demons to fight. Neither of these two were looking for each other, b

This book. My top 10 list for this year. I promise you won’t be sorry if you dive right in. Make sure you have nothing planned because you won’t want to put it down. There is so much I can say but I don’t think it will do it justice. I am going to do my best. I loved this book. It was fun and different. He’s a single dad that wanted an out of his MC for multiple reasons. First and Jimmy is an amazing man and father. His wife left him when his little boy was young. H

Glimmer is this authors debut book and she did it well. I loved the dynamic between Ramsey and Jimmy. They were characters with depth and heart. Struggling with real life issues in a way.

Ramsey is back home taking care of her ailing mother. All she wants to do is soak up these last moments with her but she is forced to seek employment. An encounter on a highway, an altercation in a parking lot with the offensive driver and a taser spark (no pun intended) a bumpy relationship betwee

Glimmer was a hard book for me to write a review for because I believe that the talented Ashley Munoz has a great career in front of her, but then there's a few things that drove me mad. The story centers around Ramsey, a take no crap kind of awesome woman, and Jimmy, the single father with a ton of demons. They have serious chemistry, though it was a slow burn kind of story that had me ready to pull my hair out more than once. See Jimmy really needed to learn how to communicate better, as he ma ...more

What I love:

I read this book twice, each in a space of less than 48 hrs. Nicely paced, easy to get lost in but not to the point that when you have to set it down, you're lost picking it up again.

Ramsey, the main character, is a not-quite-thirty year old single woman, who is amidst her own personal turmoil, and by a series of events, meets a man she has to learn to deal with his turmoil while not being engulfed by it. I like that there is clear growth demonstrated in the character; life is real

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Glimmer is the debut novel for Ashley Munoz. This was an interesting read, and I liked the storyline. I must admit, it was slow at first to follow—but once I kept reading, I was able to adhere to the story. The characters described are so believable that you will find yourself falling in love with—or not. This is an engaging story that will keep you engrossed and glued to the pages of this storyline. Ramsey’s life seemed to be turning up

Jimmy and Ramsey have a rocky start to knowing each other with Jimmy not hiring her, then firing her from his dad’s bar, but Jimmy had a feeling about her he couldn’t shake, sand with all the signs that she was special, he knew he shouldn’t have treated her the way he did and needed to fix it.
When Jimmy arrives home and she see him as the good looking hot single dad she knew she had to apologise to him. They both try to apologise and agree to start over again.
Jimmy realises that he’s got probl

I loved this book. A girl who is dealing with an emotional struggle with her mom being sick, while having to pull herself together and be strong FOR her mom. Meanwhile she meets this guy who she absolutely hates at first, "Jimmy the Jerk," but slowly finds herself drawn to him. A sexy, tattooed, former biker club member.
Jimmy breaks down that stereotype as the "hardcore biker". He's a father of two beautiful kids and isn't afraid to show his emotions.
Their connection grows from there. Their he

I can't begin to tell you how much I loved Glimmer by Ashley Munoz. I found myself not wanting to put this book down. I found myself falling in deep for each and every one of these characters.

Ramsey was great. She's strong, even when she's weak. She has a heart of gold and so much love to give. Jimmy is not at all what I thought he would be in the beginning. He loves his kids and would do anything to protect them. I loved watching Ramsey and Jimm

Life Happens.

I want to marry Jimmy the Jerk. He's like my dream man. Stubborn and a great father. Just enough of a jerk you want to punch him in his face a little. He and Ramsey just couldn't catch a break. Between the two, life has them falling to their knees over and over. I laughed, I cried. I empathize, cause Ramsey, she's every woman. Those horrible little embarrassing things that happen to us when we meet the man of our dreams, and want to choke him, she lives those. But when life is too

Slo-oooo-oow burn

First off, I need to mention that I really like this author's writing. The story is told in Dual POV, and if I could write a review in "slo-mo" then this would be the place for it. I thought the dialogue and feelings were realistic and relatable. I loved Jimmy for being a good Dad and for putting his kids first. Ramsey started out as a firecracker, but she fizzled out a bit. I guess that happens when you have a lot going on in your life. There were times I loved Jimmy, but for t

For a first book by this author she really did wonderful. I love the characters and how you slowly learn their quirks while they are learning about each other. ABSOLUTELY love Jasmine and Sammy and how much of a soft spot Theo has for Ramsey who has been without her father for so long. Their love has truly been tried through out the book between her mother’s illness, insecurities, violence, and so much more. Ramsey is way more vulnerable then she lets on at the beginning of the book from having ...more

I absoultely loved Ashley's Debut novel Glimmer.

I dare you to start Ramsey and Jimmy's story and not get hooked... it's impossible readers!

Ramsey and Jimmy's story starts off rocky right from the opening scene and continues all the way through to the very last word.

Glimmer takes you on one hell of an adventure that will take you through all the feel's we search for when looking for our next read. Glimmer made me laugh out loud, curse under my breath, shake my head and "roll my eyes" *wink* but

Glimmer was a start to an amazing series.

You’ll meet Ramsey and Jimmy, and their relationship is everything but easy. Ramsey has to find a job go help take care of her terminally ill mother. Jimmy has just the job she needs, but a misunderstanding gets in the way. Can they let go of their egos to move forward?

Ramsey and Jimmy I enjoyed their story. Their story touched on real life things, and was handled amazingly. And I got one can’t wait for Laney and Jackson’s story

What an amazing story! I can not believe this was a debut book. It was so so good. This book has depth not a bunch of sex filler and it takes you on an amazing journey.

"Life isn't fair, but it's the people who find the good in the bad, the beauty in the pain, and the heart in the heartbreak, that win in life."

Ashley you are a blessed writer! I can not wait to read Laney & Jackson's story. One of the best books I have read this year.

Wonderful debut

For a debut novel, this book is fantastic! Ramsey and Jimmy's story pulled me in and gave me all the slow burn feels. There were a few times I wanted to kick them both in the ankle for their lack of communication, but that's what makes them real. My heart broke during Ramsey's struggle with her mother and I so badly wanted her to get the sunshine she deserved for weathering the storm. I look forward to more great reads from Ashley Munoz!

I loved everything about this book. Jimmy and Ramsey's story was one of the best stories I've read in a long time. I loved their instant attraction that they fought so hard. I loved the angst in their story, but sometimes I really wanted to throw my Kindle across the room, they frustrated me so much. Jimmy was just amazing and so easy to love. I loved watching his tough exterior fade away with his kids. I was surprised by the story with the secondary characters. This was a phenomenal debut novel ...more

Born in Nebraska. Raised everywhere under the sun but grew roots in Central Oregon. Married to the shy guy from high school who grew up to be hot as hell. Four kids, three of which are little women and one little princeling. My life is full, fun, and amusing. I became a writer to fund my expensive reading habit.
