A good book to read AFTER reading 'Learning From Experience.' Once you can understand concepts like container/contained, paranoid-schizoid position (PS) and depressive position (D), L/H/K links (as well as -K, etc.), you'll be ready for this book. Bion makes an interesting elaboration on the Oedipus myth, discussing the resistance to gaining knowledge (-K) as symbolized by Tiresias's reluctance to tell Oedipus that he's the one guilty of killing his father Laius.
