Object Oriented Overlander

This book provides a comprehensive guide to advanced Python programming. The author expertly covers intermediate concepts and takes the reader on a journey to the next level of proficiency in the language.

With clear and concise explanations, Overland provides practical examples and exercises that help to solidify the concepts being taught. The book covers a wide range of topics from data structures to advanced libraries, making it an excellent resource for those seeking to further their understanding of Python.

Whether you are a seasoned Python programmer or someone looking to take your skills to the next level, this book is an excellent resource. The author's writing style is engaging, and the content is well-structured, making it easy to follow along.

Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to take their Python skills to the next level. The wealth of information and practical examples make this book a must-read for any aspiring Python programmer.

The BIGGEST lost opportunity with this book is to not have the cover with a big overlander vehicle, since that is the author's name. Instead of a sportscar, it should have been a big 4x4, and it should have been named Overland Programming With Object Oriented Python or something!

Words cannot describe how much I hate this book. I liked learning Python until I read this book. It makes reading and learning about Python a chore.

The writing in this book is like one giant puzzle: you have to try and figure out what exactly the authors are trying to say/mean with every sentence. This makes reading the book at a normal pace impossible, as each chapter takes hours to get through with the reader having to slowly piece the mess together to form something somewhat comprehensible. In the beginning of the book the authors claim that their work is the easiest to understand with the best format possible, yet I have found this to be completely untrue.

I would absolutely not recommend this book to anyone. It is a nightmare to read. If you are looking for a book about Python, I would recommend buying "Starting Out with Python" by Tony Gaddis instead. Its easier and quicker read, and makes understanding/learning about Python accessible to everyone
